I’ve danced to the tunes of this rock-​n-​roll band a couple of times. I like to dance swing, so the four-​star grade is an average between a three-​star for a dancer like me and a five-​star for a rock-​n-​roll fan.
The songs played by Mojo are either very high tempo rock-​n-​roll that they play with clear enthusiasm and excellent energy or slow blues-​like melodies. There was almost nothing in between, so I was forced to jump-​and-​jive all the time and cool down by seating out the bluesy parts.
I you like dancing rock-​n-​roll and live in San Diego, definitely worth looking for. I would love them much more if they had something mid-​tempo in their repertoire.
