Morena Storage

Came here for boxes and they were very nice and helpful. Even gave me some free boxes and a free roll of tape and very friendly guys.

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a storage unit!
I came here yesterday because we needed to more some items from one storage unit to another and it was one of the easiest experiences ever! I came in and was greeted by the staff. Since I had some information from another person, I was a little lost, but the awesome staff here managed to figure everything out and made it all work.
I was paired up with one of their 5 Star service members, Jose, and their moving truck to help move things since they all wouldn’t have fit in my car. Their truck was a little scary to drive at first, but after a few minutes, I got the hang of it all, and boom, I was in Sorrento Valley. Jose basically help move everything into the moving truck and I just had to tell him what to move! I felt so bad because I’m so use to moving everything but he loaded everything into the truck for me. That’s what you get with the service and I just never had this luxury! Thanks Jose!
Once we arrived back at Morena Storage, I asked Jose to back the truck into the loading dock, and I had some boxes in my car that I needed to bring in. Grabbing a cart and bringing it to my car was simple and easy. They had so many available to grab by their elevators! I loaded up my boxes and once I had everything done and brought back up, Jose had everything from the truck unloaded! WHAT! HE WORKS SO FAST!!! He helped moved everything through the halls to the unit and loaded it into the storage unit as well! Um… WHAT!!!
5 STARS TO JOSE! 5 STARS TO THE STAFF AT MORENA STORAGE!

The facility is clean and upkept. The staff are great at customer service and very helpful. The bathrooms are the best public bathroom that I have ever used. I have been with them for over 6 months now and I have yet to have any issues. One month I thought I paid and they called and reminded me and I was able to pay over the phone. This is not the cheapest option but you will not be disappointed with the service and I am fine paying extra far this great place and great staff

Ken was AMAZING! He spent pretty much the entire day helping me clean out my unit! He’s a life saver and my hero! I would still be there, 3 days later, if he hasn’t been there to help. He knew exactly how to load my truck for maximum efficiency! He was AWESOME!!!

I have been a customer for over 2 years now and their staff is awesome they always assist me with my boxes and pulling boxes out of our units. They have helped my wife and I with a complete move 2 years ago.
Todd is especially helpful he works hard and gets the job done!!!

Great experience before even walking in door. Excellent customer service over phone and in person. Very accommodating & asked to move our truck close to the actual storage unit. Before we even checked out, their guys unloaded the entire truck and had everything perfectly organized! What a fabulous surprise. They have men available in staff to help unload. Very clean nice lobby and grounds. Hats off to the management and staff. We are very impressed and appreciative!

I needed some boxes early in the morning to finish packing up for a move. Big brand store after big brand store nearby were closed. Luckily I found my way to Morena storage and was happy to see they were open! Went inside and it got even better.
— Immediately greeted and helped me as I walked in the door
— Made some recommendations as to which boxes were on sale
— Offered me a bottle of cold water
— Carried out the boxes to my car
— Cleaned my car’s dirty windshield w/​a squeegee
— Gave me a personal business card should I need *anything* else

This was for a $ 30 purchase of some boxes at 7am on a weekday. I almost wish I had more moving to do just so I could support this EXCEPTIONAL company who puts customers first. PLEASE SHOP HERE.

Frank & Ken helped me with my move out today. They are so helpful & the best at Tetrising my stuff into the truck to minimize loads.

This company always has someone to greet you, with a water bottle! And they provide you with a truck and a mover to use. Not only that they’re always there for help when you bring stuff in or take stuff out of your storage room. And it’s SUPER CLEAN!

These warehouse house guys are outstanding!!! A special shout out to Hayden who came out with me in a truck to to pick up my stuff. He rocked my little move. And he kept giving me the best positive reinforcement as I drive the big ass truck. Let’s not forget ken who cleaned my windshield and Jose is is always there helping me move my stuff back and forth… All I have to say is use the guys!!!

When I did my research shopping around, I did not find another storage place that actually helps you move your stuff from car to unit. WOW! Having Fibromyalgia, I greatly appreciate this more than I can say.
They even provided me a cold water.
Here is what I love in a business: when you show up and what they have promised is delivered and bonus, if expectations have been surpassed.

We cancelled our storage unit today because we didn’t have need for it anymore. Cancelling it was quick and easy. I appreciate not having to argue with someone when cancelling a service. Since we had just paid for the month and we got prorated for the rest of the month. If we ever need a storage unit again, we’ll definitely be back!

We own an estate sale company. Our client had a family member who had storage for almost 4 years. We were asked to remove the items.
Everything was in great shape, and surprisingly very little dust, not even spider webs.
NO HASSLES, and the fact that Ken was available to help us, as well as Todd, was amazing.
First class storage company!

This is probably the oddest review I’ve ever written. The review is about my boyfriends storage unit at Morena. I have a lot to say. First of all I never considered having an opinion about a storage facility. Why would I? It is a place you put your things.
Alright here’s the deal… this place was nothing less than excellent. From the moment we walked through the front door until the moment we left we were greeted professionally by every employee we encountered. Not only greeted but extended an offer for assistance. Great training maybe but I had a strong sense that each person genuinely cared about how they were performing their job duties. Absolute excellence!
We were both offered a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival.
Additionally it was clear that the level of care that existed at this facility permeated the entire team. It absolutely shows in the level of cleanliness at this location.
The show room was clean. The elevator was clean. The hallways to the storage units were also clean. The level of cleanliness was immaculate and you would have thought you were in a very clean restaurant or hospital.
To my surprise I am writing a review today. I do not currently have a storage unit nor need one. Which makes this entire situation even stranger.
This business has implemented something very special which should be adapted by other businesses in the area and not just storage businesses either.

They don’t advertise it but display a sign outside of the building stating you must leave your CHILDREN in the car… when I asked about it inside he said little kids have to stay in the car. First off, that’s illegal. Next, totally unsafe. I’m a mom of two young kids, I can’t hire a sitter just to go to my storage unit. You guys have got to be kidding me.
I’ll be renting at SD storage instead.
Update to my review–
I’m still standing my ground based on the fact that it wasn’t only the sign that was the problem, it was how the question was handled with the employees as well. When I specifically asked about my children they said I have to leave them in the car. I don’t understand how that is being left out of the equation. I’m glad you’re changing your sign but there needs to be some communication going on with employees too.
