Cynthia is phenomenal and absolutely the best in San Diego when it comes to nails! I got the Shellac mani for $ 35, which is a bargain considering how awesome my nails look and how long they last without chipping (2+ weeks)! Her arm/​hand massage is incredible and she never skips out on that like other nail salons I’ve been too. Plus, she’s very hygienic. She has disposable liners for her pedi tubs so I can’t wait to get a pedi next time. I won’t go anywhere else, I’m impressed!

Got my nails done here a few days ago and paid $ 35 for single color shellac manicure. Overpriced for what I was given. She didn’t paint all the way to the cuticle so my nails already look grown out.
On top of that she (I think her name is Cynthia?) said some very transmisogynistic things to me at the end of our session. She even mentioned how she parties in Hillcrest and Palm Desert, but then went on to say that «women aren’t real women without vaginas» and had a whole diatribe about Caitlyn Jenner winning the woman of the year award. I was speechless when I left. Glad she showed her true colors eventually though. Definitely will not be back.
I can get the same product elsewhere for less money and without the transphobia.

Cynthia did an amazing job on my nails today. This was my first visit, I was referred by my cousin. The salon was cute and clean and inviting with a French salon theme. I wanted something special for WonderCon. I’m a huge Sherlock and Dr Who fan and wanted to reflect that on my nails. She helped me find some designs and was so patient in creating them, making sure they were perfect and I was happy. The price for what I got was reasonable too, not much more than a big salon. Thank you so much Cynthia!

Went in today for my third CND Shellac manicure with Cynthia. I have tried other salons, but none of their manicures last as long as hers. My previous manicure lasted 4 weeks without a chip and I would have worn it longer had the base not shown grow-​out. Currently sporting a half-​moon mani in grey and pearly pink.

I am not one to get my nails done. But with a special occasion, I decided to try the shellac nails. I love it! And might be addicted now. Cynthia was wonderful! I had a mani and pedi. I am super happy with both! I was going for a simple classy look, but we decided to put a little sparkle in with glitter. Still classy, but more fun. I will totally be back, and I am telling all of my friend!
On a side note, an adorable salon, with so much to offer! I am now considering extensions in the near future.

Cynthia is a true artist! I asked for some cute Halloween themed nails and Cynthia gave me ghosts, bats, spiders/​webs and bones! I was amazed at the detail that she was able to provide. Not only do the bats and spiders have eyes, they have eyeballs! Thanks Cynthia, can’t wait for my Christmas nails!

I’ve been trying to give this place a chance for the past couple of months, I like to support local business but every time I go and do a walk-​in she seems unavailable or booked until a week later, I have even try to book an appointment only to find out she’s booked for the whole week or two weeks in advance. On Unilocal they claim you don’t need an appointment but is not true, I suggest whoever is the owner to change this to by appointment only because you are turning away customers…
I will not try and give this place a chance ever again.

$ 35 for a manicure? Yes. Worth it? HELL YES. This is her career. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. I love this girl.

Ive been going to Cynthia for a while now and there’s no other person I will never go to. Shes very detailed and precise in her work. Every time I come in with a picture or an idea she never disappoints, and when I have no idea she always comes up with something great! She hooked me on shellac andi will never go back to anything else. She always takes really good care of my nails and makes sure they stay healthy. My nails haven’t been this great until I started seeing her. If you want beautiful nails, Cynthia is your girl. She never disappoints. Also, her online booking is super easy and convenient, I always make sure to make my appointment ahead of time since she books up quick.
If you want quality nails at a good price, she won’t disappoint.

Is always get complements for my nails cause guess who does an awesome job??? This lil lady right here! Cynthia is amazing and makes each one of my fingers into a piece of art. This time she did Winnie the Poo characters!!! Remember to book in advance cause awesome nails thats literally last forever and dont chip are hard to find!

I had a bunch of cute images before I went to my apt and came out with the cutest nails ever! I was totally obsessed with them!
Cynthia only used the best products so you get the longest wear out of them. It’s really true what they say «you get what you pay for» bc you can absolutely see the difference in quality and Cynthia’s crazy talent. She is super detailed oriented and meticulous about creating fun and gorgeous nails! Even my male coworkers were impressed that I had my poodle puppy and the coolest penguin dude on my nails! I have my next set already planned!

I love Cynthia. She’s the only person who can make a manicure last on me more than overnight. My nails normally reject polish, but she uses witchcraft or something because it stays! My pedicures last ages too. She’s good, clean, fast, and fun. Don’t go to her though because I don’t like when she’s too busy for me to get in whenever I feel like it last minute style. Ok fine, go to her. We can share. You’ll be stoked you did.

I recently moved to San Diego and I’ve been looking for a nail salon. Finding a place that’s clean, convenient, and affordable has been a little tricky – until I came across Nailed It.
I honestly went to check them out just because the name made me laugh, but I’m so glad I went! I booked a pedicure online which was super easy and convenient, and I was able to see Maria the same day! The studio itself is really cute – it’s in a little house behind another salon, but there’s a sign on the gate so you can’t miss it! Everything was really clean, they have a great color selection, and it was really girly and fun inside.
Maria was great – really easy to talk to and sweet and the 45 minutes I was there just flew by! Cynthia was doing a mani while I was there and it looked really fab and she seemed great too!
Definitely will be back soon!

Maria and Cynthia are amazing! They are professional, talented, perfectionists, and fun. As a client, you will always get 100%. Their new location is cute and cozy, with plenty of parking across the street.

This place is amazing. These two girls are extremely meticulous at what they do. I had texted them late in the afternoon, and got a response within minutes to book me in later that day. they were aware I was interested in a having some fun designed nails, but I hadn’t made up my mind on what to get. nonetheless, they were willing to work with me on a more complicated pattern on my nails. They have a great selection of colors, and the place is clean and friendly.
You can tell they both have a passion for their art: they take pride in every stroke, and makes sure it looks polished. From their décor, music, to work portfolio: these girls are pros. I love this place! I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks.

Love that Cynthia and Maria started this great salon. I starting seeing them at Sugar and Spice in North Park and when it closed I followed them to their new space. They are both amazing and the place is clean, cute, and affordable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in San Diego!
