Nancy is an exceptionally bright and talented counselor/​therapist. She listens thoughtfully to my concerns, asks relevant question, expresses concerns, and often introduces other questions and concerns which lead me to intelligent conclusions. I have seen her for two years, status-​post a very difficult divorce and I truly don’t know how I would have survived without her care, ability, and kindness. Another plus? When I lived in San Diego, I was dealing with a lot of work-​related stress and depression. A friend recommended I go see Nancy, and that was without any doubt the best decision I have ever made in my life. After seeing Nancy for about a year, my wife and I moved out of San Diego for work, and the tools and insights that I gained while working with Nancy have continued to make my life better even years later. Even though I’m no longer in therapy, the mindfulness-​based stress reduction and cognitive behavioral approaches that I learned with Nancy are still vital tools that I use almost every day, and what a difference it has made.
