Nancy’s Brows Shape

Nancy is great. This is m first tume getting my brows did in San Diego. I came in without an appointment to ger my eyebrows cleaned up and had to run to another appointment in 30mins. She wasn’t too busy but she was with another customer. It was going to be 15 min so I was going to go to my other appointment and come back but she spoke to her current customer and she let me squeeze in. She had a longer appointment so she let me squeeze in really quick.
Nancy was very quick and did a wonderful job. She made sure I approved of what she was doing the entire way through. I left within 5mins!
Guess I found a new go-​to brow place in San Diego!
I suggest not coming on a weekend though. My mistake. It took forever to find parking and some people can’t park in the spaces provided for them…

Nancy is awesome, quick, and super nice! She is always able to get me in last minute or tries to squeeze me in with my busy schedule. Definitely recommend her to anyone trying to look for a good threading place! :)

She is great! I did my eyebrows and lips. Called to make sure she was opened on Easter weekend and immediately drove over. Super friendly and did not miss a hair!

Just dropped in to have my brows done last minute! She’s quick and does an awesome job! Thank you Nancy. Keeps them looking nice and full the way they should be :) and her price really can’t be beat! Ample parking and clean facility.

Just a heads up: it can be a little hard to find from the outside. Just walk in to sola salons and make a right I just got my eyebrows done here, and I can honestly say she did an amazing job! She was super quick and left my eyebrows looking great! Definitely making this place my new eyebrow spot.

Nancy fit me in last minute– and was so kind and works really quickly to get my eyebrows done. It was quick and painless compared to some of the other threading places I have used. Nancy’s spot is also very cute and clean. I love coming out of there feeling like a new person with the eyebrows of a goddess.

Walk-​ins welcome, NO appointments needed! My first visit to Nancy’s Brow Salon was remarkable! I was immediately greeted by Nancy. Nancy’s Brow Shape is inside the Sola Salons. When you walk inside the salon, make an immediate right turn and Nancy’s Brow Shape studio is on your left (Studio No. 4). The studio is kept nicely clean and cozy. It took her ONLY 10 minutes to clean up my eyebrows and upper lips. Check her out! She’s pretty awesome!

Nancy’s super quick and spot on! I didn’t like how my brows looked when I first walked out of the salon because they seemed too close together and a bit too thick, but I love them now! She knows how to make them look natural.

I came in for a 12:00 appt with a Groupon. Some reviews said scheduling was difficult, but this was not my experience. I called a few days earlier, asked if I could come in Saturday at noon, and she confirmed the time and next thing you know, there I am.
It is located within Sola Salon or whatever it’s called. The place is tiny but that is sufficient! The chair is super comfortable and Nancy is a pro.
I told her what I like, and she listened well. (I am mildly traumatized because a few years ago, aka last time I had my eyebrows waxed, the lady took off like ALL MY EYEBROWS and they were tiny little ones that haven’t been in style since 1994 and I was so horrified, so I was having flashbacks). ANYWAY, Nancy did a great job and made my eyebrows look amazing and beautiful and clean. This was completely painless and SUPER fast. I have never had them done so quickly. She didn’t sacrifice quality though, because they were looking clean and good. I also appreciate the quality of the thread she uses. I have had my eyebrows threaded where the thread breaks all the time and I am left with little pieces of thread all over my face (not a dealbreaker, I just appreciate that this was not like that). This thread didn’t break and my face was lint-​less. Score?
She gave me some brow powder to fill in one spot that was being weird (not her fault, one of my eyebrows is just a little bit shorter for some reason. I probably overplucked in between visits), and I was on my way.

I recommend this place for sure. Call for an appointment! She does a lot of services besides eyebrows, too. Nancy is a keeper.

Nancy is so amazing at what she does! Her prices are extremely reasonable, you won’t find anybody that does it for that price. She also gives you the best service and talks through the process and entertains you.
Everything is super clean and professional. She’s the best for sure!

I found Nancy through Groupon and I’ve been going to her ever since. Prices are reasonable. I usually get my brows and upper lip done for $ 18.00. Her place is located inside sola salons.
Nancy is friendly and always greets me with a smile whenever I come in. Setting up an appointment is easy, you can either text or call her and she replies right away. She also sends me friendly reminders when I’m due for threading. Service is top notch and I like how she doesn’t thin out my brows much and she applies powder to my brows for free. I recommend going to nancy.

Bought a Groupon deal (where it states her hours are 10−7… BUT THEY ARE NOT!)
I have called many times to set up an appointment. She called me back 1 of the 6 times I called her and on the ONE time she called me back, we got disconnected and she never reached out for my business again. She claims I left her the wrong phone number on the Voice Mail I left for her, but we had just spoken the day before.
I called her the next day with no response, then again a week later. She texted me 30 minutes later with a short response. I proceeded to text her back and try and set up an appointment but was answered with short responses with very little information other than the fact that I could not set up an appointment any of the 3 or 4 times that worked for me. She then became rude and defensive while texting me.
I told her I would not be using her services (shame, because I was going to send my clients to her as we have just stopped our brow waxing services at my location) and she then left me a five minute long voicemail explaining her son’s doctors appointments, schools schedule and some other unimportant information to try and give an excuse to her HORRIBLE customer service over the phone.
I’m sure she is good at eyebrow threading, but she is rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. I hope she works on her customer service skills and begins to care a bit more about her first time client business.

Had my first experience with eyebrow threading today… Oh boy. My eyebrows haven’t been touched in months.
Nancy was amazing and talked me through everything and kept my mind off the discomfort. Her prices are great and her customer service is great, Nancy is just great! Everyone interested in threading should come to her spot in Sola Salon!

Nancy does an excellent job with threading. I had my eyebrows threaded today and I’m very happy with the results. I have shape to my eyebrows all at a very reasonable price.

I am so happy I found Nancy! I’ve had hair on face for a long time and have tried waxing, tweezing, even laser hair removal. I come once a month now and she does a great job! Very trustworthy with shaping eyebrows (she’s always shaped them perfectly) and she genuinely cares about her clients and their skin. Highly recommend you check her out. Affordable and high quality care!

I bought a deal for Eyebrow Threading for $ 6, that’s how I discovered Nancy.
She is located inside Sola Salon Studios in Kearny Mesa. I got lost trying to find a sign that says «Nancy Brows Shaper». I found her studio after circling the area for 15 mins.
What a great find! Nancy is very good and very personable. I really like how she shaped my brows, I would definitely recommend her not just for her service but for the price too.
Her services are very reasonable. The regular price she charge for Eyebrow Shaping/​Threading is $ 10, other places charge $ 13.

Nancy was really nice and I got in and out. I agree with the other reviews, she makes you feel very welcomed and is super friendly. Nancy even cleaned up other areas for free where I only grow a few strays. I’m going back today and I look forward to making this place my new go-​to for eyebrow maintenance.

This place was awesome. Nancy really makes you feel comfortable in her shop. This was my first time getting threading done on my eye brows and she did a great job. She suggested doing chin and upper lip. So I did, that hurt a little more but looks great. I will definitely return again in a couple weeks to touch up the eye brows before my vacation. Thanks Nancy.
