Jamie is all around an amazing person! Not only does she capture beautiful photos, she is passionate about learning about her clients and getting to know their story to reflect in photos. Jamie is incredible. One of the most important things for my fiancé and I in our engagement shoot was to look and feel ourselves and Jamie has an incredible knack for making people feel comfortable — her calming presence, her excitement, love for what she does and asking great questions. In feeling comfortable we were able to completely be ourselves and had SO much fun getting our photos taken in our favorite environments: at the beach and at our home. Jamie had great examples of how to deliver some great smiles (breathe in and exhale into a smile!!!), she captured our joy and love for each other and the photos turned out so beautifully. Jamie of Narrative Visual was a dream photographer. Not only does she have an amazing eye for taking stunning photos but she also has a gift in the way she interacts with those she photographs. My husband and I agreed that taking photos with her was one of the highlights of our wedding day.
She was so great at keeping us all laughing throughout our portraits and directing us as needed, while also capturing the moments that naturally unfolded throughout the day. Her passion for what she does is so evident in both how she photographs and the photos she takes. I loved receiving all of the photos and pouring over them with my husband remembering the different moments of the day while also marveling at how much Jamie captured and how beautifully she did so. When looking through the ceremony photos we were both so surprised at how many angles she was able to capture us from as neither one of us recall seeing her.
