Nibble Chocolate

I love this chocolate! I couldn’t believe it has only two ingredients, cocoa beans and sugar. Learned al lot about chocolate by talking to the owners at the La Jolla Farmer’s Market, they are super nice and friendly. Will definitely come back for more!

Here’s an idea: get Nibble chocolate as gifts, or as party favors! We discovered them at the Little Italy farmers’ market and fell in love, and then had the idea of using them for our wedding party favors. They were very excited about the prospect, gave us a bulk discount, and in order to pick up the order, we got to go to their little factory and tour it, the entire chocolate-​making process was explained to us, we got to taste a cocoa bean, the whole thing! (And taste the chocolate again.) The owners are super nice and responsive. We got bars from four of their origin countries, the chocolate is mostly organic and always single-​source, and comes from sustainable farms. We love that. The chocolate was a HUGE hit at the wedding — everyone loved it. Oh, and we learned something: when chocolate looks weathered (what the 1-​star reviewer described as «rotten»), it could be the effect of heat, but it does not taste any worse and in general, chocolate doesn’t rot. That condition is called «being out of temper». Now I’m just showing off :) But just saying — you can still eat it and unless it’s really old (in which case it goes flat in taste) it will still taste delicious. That said, our wedding chocolate looked 100% perfect. Go for it, get a little, and then get a lot. (Some local coffee shops are starting to carry them, I have been seeing!) Thank you Nibble!!!

Wish i could give zero stars. Really disappointed! Tasted the chocolate at the little Italy farmers market & purchased severel $ 6 squares. Got them home and the were rotten. So gross! Very upset fell for the con.

Nibble Chocolate uses just two ingredients (Organic Cocoa beans and Organic cane sugar) making their chocolate all vegan, organic, gluten-​free, soy free, the list goes on… WOW quality chocolate made here in San Diego!
