I walk by this store at least once a week and often see things that I like and would consider buying for my home. The problem isn’t that they don’t have good quality items, but that they’re never open. I was interested in purchasing something that I saw in the store last week and tried aimlessly to get a hold of anyone who could help me(even asking fellow building tenants). The hours they’re open are random(not as posted), the phone number rings without a answering service, and there isn’t a website with an email or other way to contact them.(They do have a website but only to sign up for their newsletter.) I happened to go by there yesterday and finally! they were open… but the piece I wanted was sold last week.(How could this be?) I was extremely disappointed and incredibly frustrated. If they’re going to have random hours(or even by appointment) it would be nice if they had a posted way to get a hold of them so that other potential customers don’t feel the same frustration that I did.

I just bought some great modern chairs from Alfonso at Nok Nok! It’s a small space but he has some wonderful mid century pieces and a great eye for design. I will definitely be back!

Not too far off the beaten path but worth the detour! Nok Nok has a very refined sense of style and after talking to the owner, you know that his interest in this realm in genuine. I appreciated the customer service for one… the guy is great, but secondarily, his furniture selections are fantastic. He gets new stuff in all the time so you have to keep checking in to see what’s new. Also, the last time I went in I discovered that his wife’s art adorns the walls. And HER stuff is amazing too! I love this place and will keep it as a resource for updates to my furniture and art. GOTHERE!

A client turned me on to this place. I thought I knew all the cool places to shop in San Diego, but I was wrong. I was super impressed with the selection of mid century period and inspired pieces. The staff and owner are really easy going and fun to work with. The price point is fantastic and apparently they have more stock in LA they can pull from. It rocks to have shops in SD that offer a variety of home décor that can go toe to toe with what LA has to offer! Rare and a true find. I have purchased three cool classic chairs and will continue to stop in when I am on the hunt.
