North Pacific Beach

It’s PB, but better. You know not everyone in PB is 23 and gets drunk all the time, right? If that’s your opinion of PB, then you need to stay off West Garnet at 9 pm on a Friday or Saturday.
There are plenty of great things about PB if you decide to come here and not act like a drunken idiot. But like any town in San Diego with a ‘strip’, you’re going to get drunken ‘local tourists’ causing a ruckus and parking can get tough. Happens in North Park, Encinitas, etc.
On the residential side, there are more than a few areas w/​out duplexes teaming with college kids (no offense to those guys, I loved college).
In terms of affordability, convenient beach access and a diverse selection of places to eat, North PB is great!
