Fast service, the guy who works there is very polite, affordable, the price was less than all of the other places I called (11) and there was no wait. Very good service here.

The place is easy to find, right off the 805 and I didn’t have to wait. Quick service, in and out in 20 minutes. He sends over a copy of the certificate to DMV electronically and also gives you a paper copy. He was very friendly and professional and you can’t beat the price. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Wayne for your help and service :)

It’s a smog shop. No real way for it to stand out. It’s got an outside patio to chill in while you wait– probably not a good place to go to in the rain.

I was excited to come here bc it was so close to my home and they had great reviews. So i headed over there 20 minutes after 9 bc they open at 9. When I got there, there were 2 other people waiting
Me and this other lady were calling them over and over. She eventually left at 945. Then i called a few other smog check businesses in the area. None of them answered, but then one of them called me back 2 minutes later, KG Smog check. The guys at north park smog check got there at 950. I asked them what happened bc the sign said they were supposed to be opened at 9. They just laughed and said «the plan is to be here at 9, but we hit traffic.» No apologies or nothing. In my book that’s unacceptable.

Very fast service, great price. This place is a little hard to find, but once you get there it is certainly worth the effort! $ 45 total, with no extra charges. The whole thing took 15 minutes total. I recommend that you make an appointment just to be considerate. Excellent business!

An awesome small business. Plain and simple. You can get in and out quickly, without need for reservation, and it is the price in town. Very personable owner, and don’t be put off by the location or fact that it is attached to a house. Highly recommended in my eyes! Will return when my car needs it again.

Called them up on a Wed right after they opened, asked about making an appointment and I was told to come down whenever and they will get me in. I headed over shortly after noon, no line, no wait. In and our $ 45 in 15 minutes.

Just as everyone else has said, this place is great! Unilocal has not let me down, again. In and out really fast. The dude who helped me was courteous. Will definitely take all my vehicles there from now on. And the price was less than I paid at other seedier places. Can’t loose coming here.

I was in and out for a smog check in 20 minutes or so and everyone was super friendly. I would refer anyone to this place as it was one the best and easiest experiences I’ve had.

Great place. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was super easy and Wayne was ready to go at exactly my appointment time on the day of. The patio is a nice location to wait on and the whole process took less than 20 minutes. Good price for great service. Will definitely come back/​recommend to others.

Please do yourself a favor and go to North Park Smog Test Only. Seriously. I’ve been to other smog places and got such a shady vibe. I’ve been sold on one price over the phone and given another when it’s time to pay. I didn’t even mention Unilocal and he gave me the $ 45 price that others on here have stated. I rolled up at 9:27AM (with an appointment), rang the door bell, and was on my way to work at 9:45AM. Paid cash, got my paperwork and was out of there. 5 Star experience.

Quick smog test. Around 15−20mins. Fair price ($ 45). Nice owner. Was pretty much in n’ out.

My hubby and I had a car in front of us so that wait prolly took about 5 min and the smog test itself took around 10 – 15 min so overall, it was a quick easy experience. I had no idea this place was right next to the USA gas station I always went to! The smog test was $ 45 for me.

My adorable little Mazda recently hit the 6-​year-​old mark. I’ll always love this car, but it’s no longer the spring chicken it used to be. (Did I just date myself by saying «spring chicken»?)
Human beings get wrinkles and arthritis as they age. But when California-​based automobiles age, they get smog check notices with their vehicle registration renewals — and recently my Mazda received its very first one. (It was also my first one as a California resident.)
I had no idea how this mysterious smog check ritual worked, but the North Park Smog Test shop made it easy. After a quick Unilocal search for smog check shops near my abode, I called them up and made a same-​day appointment.
When I arrived at the shop with smog check notice in hand, the friendly guy loaded my car onto a giant treadmill and inserted a smog detector gadget into the exhaust pipe. He then ran the thing for a little while. In the meantime, I waited on the shaded patio for no more than 10 minutes. (I could’ve also used the opportunity to run across the street to Fresh & Easy for some quick groceries.)
And just like that, he informed me that my Mazda passed the smog check with flying colors (yay!), and all my vehicle info had automatically been transferred electronically to the DMV (double-​yay!). I paid $ 45, and then I was able to go home and finish my vehicle registration like normal.
At North Park Smog Test, an otherwise headache-​inducing procedure is made super fast and super easy. Ten jillion stars to this place.
