This provider could care less about her patients. She cancels appointments the day of if she wants to leave early. Unfortunately, having to work m-f 7−4pm with a company that does not give sympathy to health matters leaves me stressed with little time, thanks for leaving me with no alternative! Thankfully Dr. Miller was on call and available, I do not recommend Sherkat to anyone.

Dr. Sherkat has been great with our family. Both my daughter and myself were assigned to her when we switched to Scripps. She has been very easy to get an appointment with and very prompt even when the appointment was very early. She has excellent beside manner and she’s always followed up with us after visits wether calling herself or through a nurse. She is a young doctor, but sometimes those are the best ones. I would recommend her as a primary care doc.

This is a great doctor. When my long time Dr retired we were assigned to a random doctor that misdiagnosed several family members. By chance, my daughter was treated by Dr Sherkat in urgent care. We were very impressed. My entire family has switched and we couldn’t be happier. Dr Sherkat gets a 10 in our book.

I found Dr. Sherkat to be very helpful and attentive she has been my physician since December 2010. I highly recommend her.

Although she is nice she has been a major headache for me! First: I went to her seeking treatment for migraines and she recommends Advil… Even though it causes me to see flashing lights in my eyes and nausea. Then she submits paperwork to my insurance that is not properly filled out(this has been an ongoing problem and resulted in being sent to a debt collector) but i am sorry I’m not paying 120.00 for some Dr. To tell me to take Advil!!! Second: I am pretty sure she has some stock in Advil because there were a few other visits that she asked me to take Advil and come back if problem persists… Which I do and she refers me to yoga or acupuncture… I believe in western medicine that’s obviously not her thing. If you choose to take her on as a primary please remember to try every at home remedy, herbs, and salves because that’s pretty much what she will ask you to try before she treats you.

Back in November 2011 when we first registered we went to this Doctor, she came in did some checks and then walked out without a goodbye. Confused. Yes. But I thought nothing of it. Fast forward to July 2012, I go back because I need medical attention. The nurse asks whether I have any allergies, I confirm yes Penicillin and I go into the surgery. I require antibiotics and am given Amoxycillin. After checking for myself online I discover that it is a part of the penicillin family. So back to the clinic I went and was given a new script, which I took to the pharmacy only to find out they had given me someone else’s script. FRUSTRATION giving a pregnant lady a prescription for something she is allergic to– bad. Giving someone else’s script– unprofessional. Think it is time to find a new primary care physician!
