Aloha from Hawaii! I had a chance to work with Kristina Arroyo. She was excellent in helping me get a ucc filing request. She was able to get my request to me within less than 30 minutes of calling her. I as a Mortgage Loan Officer, know just how hard it can be in getting this from companies. So for that kind of service, it is nothing less than superb. Thanks again Kristina! Steph:)

Worst Solar Company I have encountered. I received quotes from several companies(12 in total) so I am a fairly savvy and informed consumer and with the over 400 solar installation companies in southern california, solar can be really confusing. oneroof energy sent over their sales person and he seemed nice enough, but when he proposed the numbers for the system the pricing was by far the most expensive i had encountered while shopping for solar. they were also using, what to me, seemed like outdated solar panels and the sales rep seemed to know little to nothing about the inverter they were using… like i said, i have done my homework and i understand the value of a lease, and i also understand what quality is. I do believe they outsource most of their work and when doing some research they are owe morgan stanly millions of dollars. i would steer clear of this company and focus on companies with a better reputation. find out what kind of install they are doing, what type of panels and the inverter type. On my home I am using LG305 watt panels coupled with a solar edge inverter with quickmount installation method. the company that i went with also does not outsource and offers a 25 year workmanship warranty. i am very happy, and i believe that i made the right decision 1year later.

I had to take over a lease on our home purchase. it has been the worst customer service ever and if I had known, I would have bought a different home!!! We either had to sign the lease, and if not the seller would have had to pay an outrageous amount of money. Been trying to contact them for 2 months, and finally got someone today, and now I find out I am behind on the payment. I called, sent emails, to no avail. It seems no one knows what they are doing. I see them going belly up, then what?! Horrible customer service, and as new solar users, very disappointing.

I’d love to give them less than one star, but it’s not possible. They are difficult to deal with, and apathetic at best. We never would have chosen this company, but were forced into assuming the lease when we bought our home. Additionally, I suspect that they don’t pick up the mail from their PO Box until after the due date so that they can charge a late charge. I could walk to San Diego and hand deliver it in less time. Last month I paid the bill over the phone two days before the due date but still got a late charge. My favorite experience is when they call me from their blocked number and, «just to verify we’ve reached the correct account», they insist that I provide our address. Who in their right mind would give out personal information on an incoming call?! Clearly, this company is run by folks who weren’t likely at the top of their class.

So happy to finally turn my Solar On! One roof has been great to work with and kept us a abreast of every step along the way! I felt they bent over backwards to answer any and all questions we had.

Do not sign a lease with this company until they write you assigned document saying that if you chose to sell your home down the road, the lender will be in 1st position. This company will stop the sale of your home and expect the Lender to sign a document stating that they, OneRoof, are in first position in a default situation on your home. They will not bend, and will not remove the panels on your home either at no cost… No Lender is going to allow a loan under those circumstances… they are bad news.

Don’t have a good feeling right now… We met with a OneRoof rep last week and decided to go with the company. We wrote them a $ 1,000 deposit and was told it would not be cashed until our appointment was scheduled and an assessment was completed on how many panels we could put on roof. We were promised to be contacted within 48 hours to set an appointment for our assessment. No contact yet and our check was cashed. Not a good feeling and are looking to cancel moving forward at this point.
