Oh how I’ve changed my mind… Would NEVER. recommend or buy from this company again. Total piece of junk generator I purchased. What I purchased IS NOT what I got. Over 100 plus emails tp Rick {not to mention all the calls} ran less 27 days. now NO ONE will call me back… Out THOUSANDS… If I could of given a minus minus ten time minus star rating I would of… Run Away and Don’t Look Back !!!

We purchased a used electric fork lift from Otay Mesa Sales and had an issue with the battery a few weeks after the limited warranty had expired, and James at Otay took the battery back and replaced it with another battery at no charge to us.
Thanks James for going the extra mile for your customers.

I needed a new (used) forlift for my store. I had bought one from them about 10 years ago and it is dying a slow death and needed to be replaced.
I walked through saw all they had.
2 fit my needs.
Agreed upon a price for one of them and put down a $ 1000 deposit.
Signed a contract and everything.
They were going to get it serviced and ready for delivery in a week or so.
They never called back.
3 weeks went by finally I called.
Sorry no forklift for you here’s your $ 1000 back.
I am sure they sold it out from under me.
What a crappy way to do business.
I mean $ 9500 is a lot of money to me, and now I am stuck looking again.

Just bought a used forklift from Otay Mesa Sales for our brewing company (Aztec). Visited a couple of times first to check things out, worked with Rick. He found us a fairly new (2007) Yale forklift with limited hours on it. It was delivered yesterday. Ran a little rough, but the repair guy was out first thing this morning, fixed everything. Ran through using the forklift with our brewer and it’s working great now. I would highly recommend them.

I could not give them lower rating than one but I would have. Otay Mesa Sales used to be OK company but now they ship you junk and when you call them for service it is pain to get them out and once they show up they applying bandage and it comes off quickly –then they claim warranty is over and you would be stuck with a junk! So lessons learned should have read the ratings first!

This company is a sham! I purchased a lift and when it was delivered a week late and it was not in working order. It took 2 more weeks to finally get this lift working and the customer service was absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced. Since I paid cash they ignored all my calls and emails. I told Rick the General manager that I needed the lift for a specific date in order for us to move warehouses or else I needed to purchase from another company. He said it would be delivered on time. THAT WAS A LIE! He never delivered and has been avoiding my calls since. All I can say is if your are thinking about buying from this company I suggest you look elsewhere unless you fell like getting ripped off!

I love this company! I have been dealing with Chris and his crew for years and have nothing but good things to say about them! They are very attentive and if I ever have an issue they take care of it right away. Customer service is great! I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I needed a forklift so I started shopping around I ended up at otaysales found a unit that matched my needs Rick the sales manager gave me fair trade value for my old forklift and a good price on the new forklift and arranged for delivery all in all a good experience hopefully wont need another any time soon but i would definetly start there if I do !
