Jeff and his wife were so helpful when we brought in our used scooter. We weren’t sure the year of the scooter which was needed to order a replacement part and they went above and beyond to help us figure that out since the Vin had been scratched off. This being our first scooter and really having no idea what we were doing, Jeff gave us honest, helpful advice and really only made suggestions, never pushing for us to have extra services done. I would highly recommend Other Ride Motors and I will definitly be back with all my future scooter needs.

I’m so happy! This is the best scooter repair shop i have found in San Diego. Period. I have a Lance CaliClassic and brought it in for a long overdue service. Their mechanic was so nice and knowledgeable and didnt make me feel like a dumb girl when he was explaining things. They were fast too! I expected from past experiences elsewhere to be without my scooter for days but i was able to pick it up after work that day. I’m so so happy, did i say that? Please dont waste your time and money going somewhere else for disappointment. They also sell scooters and i think motorcycles too. Their inside showroom is really cute and they have pretty helmets for sale too. Seriously, so happy these guys are here. I hope they stay around.

Almost gave up finding a qualified scooter repair shop until I stumbled across Jeff at Other Ride. After meeting him a few days earlier I took both my scooters in for maintenance, very hopeful that I had a finally found a shop I can trust. Jeff and his mechanic exceeded my expectations and couldn’t be more thrilled! Customer service was great, prices very reasonable but most importantly quality of repair and expertise was top notch! Both scooters are running better than the day I bought them thanks to the guys at Other Ride!

Today, just a few months after they opened in Midway area, I had a really good talk with owner. I will be bringing my little motoscoot to him and his mechanic for my next oil change, as a Get to Know You visit.
Soon, event will ask the old «scooter gang» to go and check out the new kids on the block, in the form of a ride with old group. ORM Owner seems very motivated to open the doors to the community.
I especially like the mid/​coastal location on Hancock (sports arena area.)
This type of contact is a breath of fresh air compared to the huge shops where the intake person is disinterested, and you never get to face with your mechanic. Go Other Ride!

THANK GOD we now have Other Ride Motors in San Diego! After being badly screwed by Eric C. Dutra at Point Loma Scooters, dealing with this shop was a life saver!
They have great prices, do top notch repair work and they are just nice people to work with.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
