PAULA DIAMOND is a hair sorceress! I have been getting my hair cut with Paula for many years and there has never been a time that I’ve walked out unhappy and I get compliments on my cut from strangers all the time. Paula is so good at finding a style that works for you and then tweaking it (when needed) to keep it fresh and modern. She’s a gem of a person too! Full of energy and joy. You will not regret the time you spend with Paula and will walk out happy with your hair. She’s a win-​win for all who know her!

What an amazing salon; very upbeat, bright, warm and welcoming! I met the owner, Paula, at a SD Beer Week event last week and she did my hair today for the first time. I have medium length wavy/​curly hair that I usually wear natural and she made it look amazing! She did some hair painting (such a fun new thing!) to brighten up my blonde color. It added so much dimension but still looks so natural, it’s perfect. That paired with a great cut, I feel like a new person!

I have thick curly hair and Paula worked magic today!!! She gave me beautiful color with shine, trimmed away the badness, and knew exactly how to cut my unruly curly hair. She also gave me tips on how to style it straight or curly. AND she’s a great fun person to chat with so I had a blast. I’m definitely going back and will highly recommend her to all my friends!

I’ve been going to Paula since I was 18 & it’s been 15 years since I started seeing her. She is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! She knows everything about my hair & does amazing color. I do a lot of fun colors & change my hair often & she always knows what will look good on me. I just give her an idea of the colors & style I want & just let her run with it. I trust her completely with my hair. It always looks amazing & I get so many compliments. My family & friends all see her now :) If you want your hair to look amazing, you will love Paula! :)

Paula has since taken over The Parlour. Anyone who is able to sit in her chair should consider themselves Lucky. You will walk away feeling Beautiful And Sexy! I Wish I could see her More often… Stylists on the East Coast as Good as her are Very Hard to find!

I’ve been going to Missy at the Parlour for over 10 years. I get compliments on my hair cut and color (it’s not natural, eeek!) almost daily. Most of my friends and family go to Missy as well, and everyone loves their hair. Missy is great at suggesting new things in terms of style and color and yet I never feel pushed into doing anything.
Beyond that, I love the atmosphere: just the right amount of trashiness in the magazines (People, US, but not National Enquirer), great music, fun people and a serene and unique look.
I am one of those people that sticks with a service provider when I find the right one. Missy is absolutely that.

These people are talented, hard working and very down to earth. I love their new location on Adams Ave. (from Park Blvd). I personally know that Ed, James and Missy do a great job, and the newest addition to the team looks like she is excellent, too.
If you are looking for a new salon your hair can call «home» I recommend The Parlour!

If you want a great hair cut or color AND a super nice person to do it for you… see Missy at The Parlour. I get compliments all the time on my cut and color. Very fair pricing, lots of easy FREE street parking. Close to some great restaurants too.
