I went off based on the positive reviews and I’m glad to say i don’t regret contacting them to do my rims. The guy did a pretty good job on my rims and emblems. Strongly recommend!

I’m really disappointed that I have to leave this kind of review since he was such a cool guy, but I’m left now in a negative situation. If I would have left a review immediately after the first spray it would have been 5 stars for sure.
I first contacted Ramy a little over a month ago to do the window trim of my murdered-​out Audi A5. The car was 100% black except the trim.
We agreed on a price and time to knock this out. He showed up on time, was pretty cool to chat with and knocked it out in under an hour. It looked AWESOME and really completed the look of the car.
Maybe about 2 weeks go by and the passenger side is bubbling pretty bad. I contacted him and he came out without a problem and fixed it. Instead of redoing the entire side he only redid the part that it was bubbling. At the time it looked great and you really couldn’t tell so I didn’t mind. As a week past you could clearly see the color difference between the fix and the original job. Not to mention it is bubbling AGAIN.
I shot him a text (we chatted in text prior)… no reply
Waited a few days letting him know I needed the car 100% for HRE’s open house… no reply
Today, I had someone come down and clay, polish, and wax the car to get ready for the open house in which my car is scheduled to be at… He too noticed the poor job pointing out many flaws and parts where it was chipping off. I also noticed tons of over-​spray on everything from the windows to the car’s body and side mirrors.
Complete waste of time and money. I’m super disappointed that I trusted him with my Audi. I’m now going to have to deal with the mess of pealing it off and just wrapping it in vinyl. Literally just threw my money in the toilet.

I hired rami to dip my rims on my brand-​new Honda Accord. I was assured The dip would last two years. I was quoted a price of 130 to do all four rims. When he arrived he up sold me on doing the grill for another $ 30. Within less than 72 hours my rims looked absolutely horrible the dip was peeling in multiple places and had ruined the surface of my rims below. I have them took a look at the grill and there was overspray everywhere. I contacted him immediately and sent him pictures and he called me back saying he would repair that this had never happened to anyone else’s car before. He argued with me about refunding all of my money which would have been 160 and settled on only reimbursing $ 100 and removing the dip. He originally said he would come the next day. The next day came and I received a text that he could not come and that he would come on Saturday (3 days after the original day he said he would come make this right) then the next day came around and I received a text that stated he would have to book another job in order to make the trip to my car to make this right. I told him that I was absolutely heartsick that my car was less than two months off of the dealers lot and that it looked so horrible. MIND YOU THIS IS THE FIRST «NEW CAR» I have owned in my lifetime and I take great pride in it. I was very respectful though tearfully upset when he began to be extremely unprofessional making threatening comments. At this point he has refused to return my money or repair my rims… Though he originally made it sound like he would make things right. I wish I had done more research on this guy and his company prior to allowing him to touch my car because now I see there are many people in the same situation I’m in. It will cost me over $ 500 to restore my rims because of the damage he caused. At this point I will be looking to start a lawsuit so others who have been in my situation can get this made right to some point. I may single mom of two kids and every penny spent has been lost and now I am looking at a long road of repair to which my rims and grill will probably never be the same. Never had such a horrible experience with any company. This guy is a con artist please steer clear!!!

I had the stock rims on my 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe Plasti dipped black the other day. The gentleman came all the way down from San Marcos to Spring Valley, CA in the same day ! He dipped my rims in about 30 – 45 min !
I was so excited about the way my car looked, I took it to the car wash that night to give it that extra shine. Unfortunately the roughness of the car wash damaged my plasti dipped rims quite a bit. When i saw the damage the next day, I was hurt and regretted paying $ 120 ($ 100 to dip them, $ 20 for mobile service) to get them done.
I texted Remi (I believe) right away to let him know what happened. He worked with my schedule and came to me asap to redo all 4 rims at absolutely NO charge ! I couldn’t be a happier customer ! I will recommend Dip SD to all my friends !

Rami did a great job on my ford fusion. He dipped the wheels and emblems and it turned out great. He arrived on time to my house and did a excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone who wants this service done.

Great service. These guys did the rims on my Altima with a nice black glossy finish about a year ago and it still looks good! I told a few of my friends about dipsd and they got work done too… Always turns out great. Definitely recommend to anybody in San Diego county.

Had my emblems, grill, tailights and rims blacked out. Great results and professionalism. Would definitely recommend using Dip-​SD. If you are looking to add some customization to your ride. Worth every penny!

The only reason I can’t give this business 5 starts is because I had some problems with my car in the beginning, but those were all due to a guy who no longer works here.
I got my car done a few months ago with a full matte black dip, when I first got it back Rami brought it to my house for me and worked really hard to get it done that night because I had needed it to get to work the next morning, he made sure I got it back that night. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell until the next day but the paint job didn’t look very good, and the emblems had been painted over when I had specifically asked for them to be left alone.
Rami was more than happy to take my car back in and fix it all up, and when I pulled up I could tell by his face that he wasn’t happy with the outcome either. He ended up explaining that he had trusted one of his colleagues to work on my car and he would probably be fired over this.
I got my car back that night looking 100 times better!
And my last meeting with Rami was this week to have a couple spots touched up on the door and handle (which I wasn’t mad about I mean plastidip isn’t expected to be the most durable)
He was more than happy to do it free of charge since its been within 6 months and he even went over the whole car again, it looks AWESOME.
I will definitely be recommending all my friends to come here!

I recently just had my 2014 Cadillac plasti dipped just the rims .i was super pleased with the service and how friendly he was. Only took about 45 minutes. I was told that the plasti dip would last up to 2 years if you take good care of it so I had no problem paying a little more than 100. I couldn’t stop looking at my car once it was done. sadly my rims are now starting to peel and its only been 1 WEEK… I’m super bummed that «I have to touch it up» and I haven’t even washed my car yet

Great experience, I had not heard of this type of product/​service. I asked quite a few questions before I agreed to the transaction and they were very accommodating. They came to me and completed the job. The outcome is absolutely PERFECTION!!! Absolutely love the look and the price. Will tell everyone I know about this and continue to have my vehicles dipped by them! Awesome job!

These guys were awesome! Not to mention very professional. They didn’t pressure me into anything. Came to my office and dipped my rims and grill in a glossy black! Thank God I didn’t spend the $ 1500 Mercedes wanted to charge for factory black wheels. With their holiday special, I got my rims and grill done for less than $ 200!!!

Omg I love how my car turned out. I didn’t really know about the whole plasti dip or vinyl wrap thing before this. My friend that dipped her rims recommended dipsd. So I gave them a call and Rami explained everything to me. We decided on a Glossy White Pearl color. Was surprised at how affordable it was and it turned out amazing! Can’t stop looking at my car now

For those of you interested in getting your work done by this guy I highly recommend reading my review it’ll be long but it’s the full story. You can see my pictures if you don’t belive me he knows it’s his job. He did oversprays he overcharged me the coats are really thin you can see the black, I’ve had multiple people come up to me and ask me if I sprayed it myself, it has streaks and drips everywhere! I tried contacting him so many times he keeps saying he will fix but never has. He insisted that it’s because the job was rushed, yet he was working on the car at below 50 degrees the paint will never dry at night causing drips everywhere! He didn’t bother masking anything on the car insisting that it peels and he’s right but those hard to reach places like behind the mirrors or crevices were not easy because I had to take it off! My fog lights were painted my licence plate was painted the license plate frame painted tires and door seals painted just horrible job. I had a friend walk over when he was working on the car he because he kept insisting we not wait there so I felt a little weirded out and this is what we found out. They didn’t know my friend was standing there and he was talking with his dad while working on the car saying we kept «bitching» about him doing the car that he should charge us extra when it was already 560 dollars for a spray job with cans, he also kept texting me that he was gonna pull out the car from the garage to take pictures for me and when my friend was there and they finally noticed him he grabbed all the spray cans and chucked them under the garage door saying he was just putting it outside to dry when really the garage was full of crap that you couldn’t even stick a car in there he was well aware of what he was doing. In the end I redid the entire front bumper because if was horrible, the white I did on the bumper is much Thicker, whiter and brighter than the rest of the car. The best customer service. Amazing product, great prices and easy to schedule. Showed up at my work and did all 4 tires and grill in under an hour to perfection. One rim got scratched up while driving and he came out of his way to fix it and touch it up at no cost. Highly recommended!!!

Great experience with this company. Texted Rami yesterday and got a response within an hour. He told me he could fit me in today and stayed true to his word.
Whole process took about an hour or so. I’m VERY happy with the results. Rami is super cool and did an awesome job.
This is the same company as Plastidip San Diego, which has more Unilocal reviews (all 5 stars I believe) so don’t be put off by the lack of reviews for the OC outlet. I think everyone just puts their reviews on the SD page.

Seems as though they ONLY dip the standard colors. They dont do any of the other colors that are listed on
. Bummer.

The best way to describe this service is Mind Blowing! I was hesitant to do this for like a year because I didn’t want to loose value on my car. But I’m so glad I changed my mind, it looks like a brand new car again. Thank you soooo much Rami! I freggin love it.

Rami did a fantastic job on my car. He arrived on time at my place and after discussing what I wanted done, he got started.
He is very precise and his attention to detail is impressive. We ended up dipping the grille of my car and the orange turn indicators on top of the rims.
I am beyond pleased with the results and will use contact them for any future projects. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I never got my vehicle done because we couldn’t come to an agreement place to meet. Even though this business says they come to you, clearly that was not a option for me, as i was offered Escondido or Carlsbad when I live in Gaslmap district…

Rami plasti dipped our new 2015 Tacoma (badges, grill and rims) and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He came to our house and finished the work in a short amount of time. Rami is the man! I was new to the whole plasti dip idea, didn’t really know what to expect. As someone who has had his rims powder coated in the past (takes a week) and someone who had spent over a grand on rims. I can honestly say this is the best route to go! It’s very cost effective, looks beautiful, and if down the road I don’t want it anymore. Just peel it off! The whole thing took an hour, probably would have been less if I didn’t talk to him the whole time haha. Super cool dude! Very professional, you can tell he’s been doing this for a long time. He’s also mobile! Didn’t feel like driving to his shop, so he came to my location! Doesn’t get much better haha.

very prompt, straight forward and honest. Rami delivers. took only about an hour to dip 4 rims and i was pleasantly surprised how good they came out! will drive out to your location and is on time. highly recommend!

They came to me, did the job in an hour or two. It looked so good I had them come back and do more. Dipping your rims and trim is an inexpensive way to get a new look for your car and it’s 100% removable.

He came to me, he did a amazing job, he was very welcoming and did a amazing job. I will defiantly recommend him to other people.
