Great food, friendly staff, omelets are big enough to share. House made biscuits and gravy are excellent !

The food flavoring is effortless!!! There’s no flavor at all in ANY dish. Don’t waste your money.

I was a regular. I go in for Burger night. I ask for my burger to be grilled instead of it bein on the griddle because the griddle tastes like the last thing made on it. Upcharge of $ 1.50.I thought I was a friend of the owner and texted him the upcharge. He say’s to me” I didn’t give you my number for it to be your private bitch line”.I wasn’t bitching I was asking if this is legit .I like the place but… On taco night they serve tacos, good ones but they don’t come with cheese. They are big so when you pick em up they fall apart I ask for a double tortilla, Upcharge $ 1.50…ok.like I said I like the place… but. Happy hour is fun, I know a lot of people there but instead of texting him it seems he wants me to write it here. Change the happy hour menu, You’d sell a lot more apps, we have all eatin the same thing 25 times. Stop firing all the good waitresses and keeping the eh ones. Everybody knows the place would be better with Billy, Tiff, Janine and even Becca. I vote with my wallet their are other places who sell beer, I’ll miss the people but at this time I’m bowing out. good luck Kevin

This place is so cute! Like being in a ship. Very old fashioned, kind of dark inside but it adds to the old hole in the wall feeling. Another plus, there’s parking! I went in around 11 to eat outside with my puppy but El Niño had other plans for us. Instead of turning us away, they let me sit in the corner with her! 5 stars alone for that. Then I saw the menu and decided to create my own crab omelette with scallions, cheese, potatoes and a side of fruit. My omelette came out pipping hot and amazing! It was more than enough and I could have easily split it with someone. For only $ 12 dollars and some change you really can’t beat that. I will definitely be back!

Ordered the Philly omelette. Ample portions(to put it lightly), friendly service and a great atmosphere. They haven’t spent a lot on their décor which is how I like it.

Sunday morning 8:30, asked for a minute to look at the menu…10 min. later, after the server was done talking to some guy… we ordered. I had the new veggie and my girlfriend had the California omelet. Both were Delicious. server seemed more attentive as we progressed. Overall I would say… a good experience.

I had the crab Benedict and my husband got the steak and eggs. The food wasn’t that bad Only if the food was warmer. It was a good service though. The place needs a little bit of cleaning too.

Had an artichoke omelette this morning, recommend by our server. It was great… actually too much, and I’m a petty good eater. Service prompt, friendly. Very happy!

On the recommendation of a local boat owner, we decided to try this small«hole in the wall» as he described it. After driving by numerous times, going on and off Shelter Island, we knew exactly where it was. We pulled in about 10:30am on a Monday morning. There was another table of 6 – 8 people and our family of 4. There was plenty of room for 50 more people(or so it looked). So, we were happy we missed the breakfast crowd. I had a Hawaiian Omelet w/jalapenos and pepper jack cheese added. Along with a side of their home made corn beef hash. My wife who is on a strict diet, had an omelet with bacon, cheddar and broccoli. Each of our omelets came with toast and choice of potatoes or hash browns. One of my daughters ate my wife’s sides and the other had chocolate chip pancakes. All of the food was amazing and if we are in the area again, we will be stopping by Point Break for some great food.

I’ve been here 4 – 5 times and every time I go the food is amazing! I love the grilled chicken sandwich! The spicy sauce sets it apart from your typical(boring) grilled chicken sandwich. It’s probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! The servers are always friendly, happy and make pleasant small talk. I really love this place but especially the food here! I’ve heard breakfast is the best in town but I’ve only had lunch. I’ll be coming to try breakfast next!

This is the best little diner we have eaten at in a long time. So good, we have been here 3 times in our week in San Diego. Breakfast is the best! I tried the #1 omelet and the scrambled egg dish chilaquiles and both were excellent! Everyone at our table was more than pleased with their food! Our server, Katie for breakfast and Gabby for dinner were the best. Go try this little whole in the wall, it will become your favorite!

Awesome location, cool atmosphere and good service. The food isn’t anything to brag about but everything else is pretty cool. It’s cheap and a fun little joint for lunch.

I wish I had a good thing to write here. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes in an empty place before I was able to get something to drink. The employees were too busy chatting at the bar. It felt rather dirty inside and the table had a sticky surface. My sliders were soggy. I think I said enough.

Good food, good atmosphere, good music. Average service. We had breakfast. I had the meaty scrambled eggs and my girlfriend had the popeye scrambled. It was good and would say give it a shot.

Amazing breakfasts! Their omelets are HUGE and the ingredients(tomatoes, avocados, bacon) were so fresh and yummy! Try their grilled potatoes and you won’t be disappointed. Servers were friendly and the food came out super fast! We sat inside but they do have a cute little patio for dinning too. Inside reminded me of a local diner that might have been a home at one time. Kitschy but comfy feel.

The staff is very nice, and the location is pretty neat; kind of a mashup between an 80’s grunge beach bar and a dark tavern. It was really cool and I had very high hopes but the food was HORRIBLE! Overly salty, burnt, smelled weird and the fruit was clearly from cans with the water removed. Whatever you do, do NOT get the hash browns! I was honestly bummed… it has such potential!

I feel like I’m back in the 70’s living room of my parents house. Nice and divey, with a fun selection of board games and stoner music playing via Pandora on the TV. They have a decent selection of craft beers on draft, including a few Hess selections. The place was empty on Saturday night around 9am, and the patio is sans alcohol for now. I’m guessing there’s a story behind that. Breakfast looks good. I’d definitely like to come back for the homey feel.

If you don’t like this place… you don’t deserve to. Service was not only friendly and accomodating but she was cute as can be. Iced rea was great… Meals were served prompt. Hot fresh and quite delicious. Her ordered«aprils style» hot sandwich piled with meat bell peppers grilled onions and cheese. opted for onion rings instead of fries… everything met with approval and I really can’t believe she ate the whole thing. I opted for the fish and chips. requested garlic fries… holy wow. they hit tge spot and made my night. the fish was hot battered just right and the 2 large pieces filled not inly the craving but overstuffed me. No room for desert. Perused the breakfast menu will make time for it. Found a hidden gem that did not disapoint.
