PostalAnnex+

I just stopped in here last weekend to buy stamps. I was kind of in the middle of a move and so I was in more of a stressed state of mind. So I stood there as the minutes ticked by as the guy notarized some documents for the person in front of me. Wanted to leave, but I was like no, I really need to buy stamps.
What made me turn and walk out of the store was when someone who came in AFTER me asked the cashier a question about something, and then the cashier was like oh, is that all you’re doing let me ring you up. Ummmm, all I’m doing is buying stamps, which you would know if you had acknowledged me in any way.
Cannot recommend. I ended up buying stamps from a lovely postal employee who was super helpful downtown the following week.

Super nice guy there, but prices are RIDICULOUS. Don’t go in there blind like me. I didn’t realize the amount of money these guys could add to the cost of things. They will charge you outrageous numbers for shipping, that are very much different than at least USPS, maybe twice the amount. Sure it’s an easy in and out, but go to the post office and save a bunch of money. If you’re ok with spending the extra, then I couldn’t complain, as I said nice staff, normally little to no lines.

Well run family style business. Friendly owner and staff. Definitely a team that tries to make your experience hassle free at a low cost. I recommend for all of your shopping needs!

Where I’m from (Florida) there are no Postal Annex’s, so I would have never went to this store, had I not needed fingerprinting done. The two working that day were incredibly nice and the fingerprinting went by so quickly one we got started. The only problem was that the live scan machine wasn’t working at the beginning, so it was a delay, but I had nowhere to be at the time. All together, it was a great experience and I will definitely think about Postal Annex when I need to mail packages next time.

If you search for Postal Annex on Unilocal,you’ll see that this location and the one in Hillcrest have much higher ratings than all the others. That’s because the owner operator of these 2 stores Bosco is so wonderful, helpful, efficient, gracious, and friendly that it will make your day! Every time I come in to make copies or mail packages, when Bosco makes small talk he makes me feel like I’m on the deck of a cruise ship sipping drinks and talking to a fellow cruisemate – which is pretty remarkable considering you’re doing something as boring as mailing packages. The employee Oscar here is very helpful and professional, is fast and can multitask really well when it’s crowded, and is very good at explaining things like the different costs of different shipping methods. There is a reason why this Postal Annex is my favorite – this people are awesome!

Ambar assisted me today with shipping out several photographs. She was extremely helpful, and also very friendly and attentive to me and the other customers that came in. She provided thoughtful suggestions on packaging and also was personable – overall great customer service!

Good place to get stuff done. No hassles, no B.S. Staff is competent (unlike every other postal copy place in existence). Amber is awesomesauce.

Convenient. Fast. Quick. A little pricey but if I am busy they are close by. Staff is friendly. They also sell lot of mailing and some office supplies.

I am so impressed with the service I have received at this location. I needed to send a package to Brazil, after attempting to send it on two different locations, I arrived at Postal Annex on Felton.
The gentleman who helped me named Bosco was amazing, he packaged everything for me, gave me many alternatives regarding the shipping and helped me track the package until it was delivered. Trust me, not an easy task when we are dealing with Brazil. I have NEVER received a service such as this.

This Postal Annex+ is by far the best i’ve been to! The customer service is outstanding; the staff is very helpful and the owner himself goes above and beyond to make his customers happy.
I definitely recommend this location! Even if it means driving a few extra miles, you will not regret it! 5 stars:)

So, had to ship a package to New Zealand. Hate waiting in the line at the post office and saw this place on Facebook, so went in here, really nice girl helped me and i was out of there in just a few minutes.

I was so completely satisfied with the service at this Postal Annex that as a gesture of my appreciation, I’m giving them a five star rating (I usually don’t post anything other than restaurant reviews)!
The other day, I went in with a high valued item to ship; they helped me with the packaging, as well as to determine the best shipping method (based on several factors such as insurance, a signature at the destination, etc.). I was worried about shipping the item because of it’s value, but had peace of mind after seeing the steps they go through to ensure that I’m protected in case the package is lost or stolen… they even welcomed me to watch them as they took pictures for insurance purposes. They were very friendly, very professional and I actually walked out of there with a smile on my face — rare after any postal experience (at least for me). Thank you again, Postal Annex!

Great service! The place is a little hard to find, but I got very good directions from Oskar. Very busy place, but Oskar stayed extra late to help me notarized important documents! He also packaged my documents up and sent them out! Will deff go back again.

Great if we’re in a pinch since it’s across street, but it’s expensive and the place is über dusty (candy, snacks). Plus, last time I was there, I wanted to ship a 10×13 envelope of about 15 photos to WA state the cheapest way possible and was quoted $ 30 for UPS ground. Wtf? Ended up shipping USPS Priority for $ 20. Still way too much. Would rather drive to FedEx Kinkos in Hazard Center. Only paid $ 89 to ship 4 boxes today (one at 2 lbs, two at 7 lbs, one at 18 lbs) via FedEx Ground to OR, with a declared value on each for $ 100.

It’s convenient, definitely. Though more expensive than going to the post office. A Family member works at the p. o and told me these places over charge bc they can, they aren’t associated with govt mail. So when they charge 12 $ for a book of stamps its only 9 $ at the p.o. or when I mailed a package today for 27 $ I find out it would have been half that had I gone to the actual post office. Grrrr. What we pay for convenience. …it is a cute place with little magnents, post cards, calenders and some greeting cards, pens, calculators all of those office supplies (cheaper at walmart, but again, convenience) and what I like most, it has a drop off box for mail. I send all my cards here.
So if your looking for a quick way to mail something, and dont mind paying more than you should, yeah come here. Lines are most likely shorter than the p. o and it may be closer to you, but next time ill take my $ to the p. o and not pay someone extra bc they feel like ripping you off. Times are hard, spend a little extra time going to the p. o, your also helping them out. People like my family member are at risk of losing jobs bc of places like the postal annex.

This Postal Annex is not only conveniently located but provides superior customer service. Bosco, the owner, goes out of his way to help you. Bosco’s wife has gone out of her way to help me with my passport’s picture & paperwork right before they close. Oskar is also extremely helpful and takes care of business asap. Friendly & Team oriented place regardless of how busy they get.
I have been a customer for years for the following reasons:
1)Very Efficient —
2) Hours of operation are very convenient.
3)They can notify you when you get a package.
4) location, location, location — next to starbucks, costco, IKEA, etc.
5) Parking is a breeze
6) Prices are reasonable considering the quality of service.
7) What stands out in my opinion is the customer service they provide.

I have been coming to this store regularly for about a year now. Bosco or Oscar are the names of the folks who usually help me. Bosco always seems to be smiling; it truly seems like a happy little business. The prices are obviously a bit (though not much) higher than bulk or even counter rates at the post office, but in return you receive a level of service that is very high (often including help with selecting and using packaging, making copies, selecting parcel services, etc). Also these guys have access to more than just USPS postage (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and I find that they will not hesitate to tell you when you could save money by switching to a different carrier or service level.
Their service level also seems to maintain its grace even under pressure. Several times when I have visited the store during peak hours they will have a line out to the door. But even then, the line tends to move quickly. Behind the desk I will hear 2 – 3 employees saying things to each other like «you put peanuts in this box while I ring her up» etc. It’s teamwork, which is one of thew signs of a great small business. Recommended.

Simple, always helpful and quick– Works for me when I need to mail, fax or purchase items to send out.
