They carry the really hard to find Thymes line of bath products! The salesgirl Ginger was so helpful and friendly! Fabulous place. Will add it to my San Diego«Must» list!

One of my favorite places at seaport village! The staff is always so nice and the store is wonderful! Make sure you check in on Unilocal,or add them on facebook for a discount.

This store has the best selection of beach towels I’ve found so far in SD. I was looking to buy 5 «San Diego» beach towels for my bridesmaids and I’ve looked all over the place. Whenever I did find towels, I didn’t like them(and they were crazy expensive!). While this place wasn’t cheap, they had some cool towels on sale. I’m a happy camper. I can’t speak to the soaps and other things they sell, but the staff was helpful.

This is the la jolla location I am at. Awesome soap selection, especially the glycerin soaps that smell and look so good and moisturizing at the same time! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Definitely going back for more pretty, fragrant, colorful, moisturizing glycerin soaps!!!

Like the gift items! There are reasonable priced items amongst the overpriced ones. The bar soaps for the most part are more expensive than such the like in similar soap stores elsewhere. My 24 years old almost bought one of their mini bath tub soap dish holders for when she moves out in a year! BTW, this is not a restaurant(though the Unilocal additional tips section is loaded with restaurant questions!!).

SOAPS: 5 EXPERIENCE: 5 I never thought I could get addicted to soap until I shopped here not too long ago. The smell from outside the store can lure you into a shop full of wonderful fragrances. To name a few, they have a variety of body oils, hand therapies & body lotions, and glycerin soaps. My favorite bars of soap that I’ve bought from this shop were the Pre De Provence and Zum Bar soaps. The Pre De Provence bars are so moisturizing even if they only have so much Shea Butter in them. They last longer than the normal bar of soap that you buy from Wal-Mart or something, and they smell 100X better. I’ve tried the Pomme Poire and Rose Petal scented bars. Both smell sooooo incredibly awesome. As for the Zum Bar soaps they have one key ingredient in them that I’ve googled to be true to its moisturizing capability — goat’s milk. I am crazy about goat’s milk soap. I have given these soaps to my cousin who has psoriasis and it instantly works to get rid of his patchy dry skin. I definitely recommend this type of soap! I just absolutely love these soaps. They don’t leave that yucky residue when you try to put it on & wash it off like Dove does. They reduce a great majority of the dryness in your ashy arms and legs. And, they smell great! The service was friendly and willing to help you find a gift or answer your questions about the different products. The parking is abundant and the shop can validate your parking as well.

As soon as you step into the store you’d catch a swift of sweet smelling soap that filled up the store everywhere. I love how cute their glycerine soaps are, so many flavors and cute designs.

This place has a lot of cool stuff. What ruins it? The horrible employees. Apparently if you aren’t some old, rich broad spending a ton of money, you aren’t going to get help, ATALL. I watched the older lady behind the counter socialize with the other older ladies in the store. When it cleared out, she ignored me, and went to stocking shelves. After standing and waiting for 5 minutes to check out, we finally just left our stuff on the counter and walked out. Thanks for nothing, crotchety sales lady!

This place has been at Seaport Village for as long as I can remember. They have many different types of cream soaps and some for certain holidays. The only reason I really come here is for the Ahava Products. These products are made with Dead Sea Mud and make your skin feel really good. They also have some candles and Sumatra Products for those nights you want to have a little fun with your significant other.
