I was fortunate to stumble across the best dance hula group in San Diego. They performed at my husband’s 40th Tiki/Luau Birthday party and were the icing on the cake. They were booked at the last minute and were able to perform. The show was AWESOME! I certainly recommend them to anyone who is planning on throwing a Tiki/Luau themed party!!! Mahalo!!!

I booked the Pride of Polynesia for an event at the last minute. They were SO great! The dancers were entertaining, the show was magical, and they were completely professional and perfectly prepared. The costumes were also wonderful. They were a hit at the party! A must DO for any luau themed party!

Pride of Polynesia has a great balance of helpful and progressive group lessons alongside public and for-hire performances. I took Polynesian dancing here for almost two years, and was incredibly happy with my instructors and their low-key, low-pressure atmosphere. They accommodate those who want to have fun, and those who want to pursue more serious dance pursuits. Performing with them at the Del Mar Fair in a coconut bra was an exercise in character building and humility — I ami-ed(booty shook) my skirt halfway off my okole(booty). The best part is, I haven’t taken a class there in years and my Tahitian hips still can shake my skirt off like nobody’s business. I shall return to you one day, Pride of Polynesia.
