This review is about an experience that I had with Dr. Morris, dealing with my roommate’s depression and hypersomnia. *UPDATE; October 14, 2015. They finally called us today and sent in that prescription. The insurance turned us down and turns out we have to pay for it. I do hope that in the future, he communicates better with his patients! My roommate having to keep checking to see what his status was on the prescription and his insurance(turn-down or approval). Please call your patients, Dr. Morris. That might help you have better relations with them and they may not have to yell at you so much. My roommate and I don’t want to be that way, really. I will keep this following review up and viewers may be their own judge as to whether or not to use Dr. Morris’s services or not. The public deserves to know what happens. Thanks. —CJ* What happened before: Here is the way I see it. Initially, I thought this doctor was going to help my roommate find a medication other than so many meds he has already tried. My roommate has been on just about every antidepressant known to humanity in America and he has been trying to get this doctor to communicate with his insurance and himself. The trouble is, over a misunderstanding with fax machines(which my roommate had to find out himself thru his insurance, not the doctor!) between the doctor and the insurance, the doctor is NOT calling my roommate back, after my roommate had left about 4 messages on his voicemail, give or take, since this past Monday! It is now Thursday(October 82015). No one is too busy to call someone back in 4 days. Not to mention, my roommate has been trying to deal with red tape on his insurance for the past few MONTHS. I want a doctor who actually communicates with his patients! At least to tell them what he is doing with their medication or their insurance! I dislike it when someone is too busy to even take the time to talk to their patients. We need to at least know whether or not his insurance will pay for his medication. His insurance faxed this doctor 3 times, they said. And the doctor did not call my roommate to fill him in on what was going on; my roommate had to check with him repeatedly, go back and forth between his insurance and the doctor. His insurance told him that their fax machines were«incompatible». So my roommate tells the doctor this(another message not answered!). We are still waiting for him to call us! I will update this review, maybe even give it a better rating if he calls and things turn around. I am not impressed with an unresponsive doctor. Especially when this medication might save his life!
