Great sandwiches with a ton of meat for a great price. Very friendly staff. A lot of business during the lunch hour so be prepared! If you work in Miramar and don’t want to spend a ton on lunch this is the place to go.

I’ve been coming here for about three years now and I’ve never had a bad sandwich from here, I’ll warn you though once you’ve had one you’ll be hooked. These handcrafted to order tasty sandwiches will have you coming back for more and more.

The Italian sandwich was very tasty, I added the double meat for only 1.50 more. The size was incredible and the quality of the ingredients was very high. Lunch rush was on and the service was fast and friendly!

So I used to come to this place a lot… at one point I would come every day for lunch. It’s a great sandwich shop and I have been eating there sandwiches for over 3 years now… however…it’s starting to change… not the sandwiches, just the staff … And I have to point this out, I come in to place a order early morning I ask for the same order every time… it’s NEVER changes. So, recently I had the women behind the counter extremely focused onto her phone. She never put her phone down, not even to take my order. After that, she just got back on her phone for about 5 minutes, and she finally got off and rung me up… THEN tells me it’s going to take 10 to 15 minutes. No one was making my sandwich for the next 10 minuets that i waited… and suddenly, a SECOND woman came out the back, speaking a different language with a really rude face!!! I’m sorry I say it like that, but it’s was like she was mad she had to get up to help me. So she starts making my sandwich and the first women who helped me walked over speaking a different language to the sandwich maker and as she is making the sandwich, both of them start to laugh and look at me and start speaking their language, and i could just feel that they were talking about me. I have never felt so disrespected by these employees… they handed me my sandwich and I wanted to walk out and ended up giving it to a homeless. I see them every day because I work close and its the quickest walk… There is an AM/PM that would not be much farther of a walk and that day I second guessed ever going back. There is an AM/PM and Subway just down the street. I will always come back because it is so close by and its what I have time fore, but I really wish the girls where not so rude… sad face.):

I work near by. I visit this place quite often, it’s located in a plaza with a Vietnamese restaurant, taco shop, and Rice N’ Roll. The prices are decent when it comes to their sandwiches and I absolutely need to point out that the portions are HUGE. They are pretty quick as well. They aren’t greedy on anything and pack on the the meat. A little disappointed that they don’t have sprouts or fresh jalapeño, but I get that it isn’t a common request. You also have the option to call in so you don’t have to wait. However, I was craving fruit and they didn’t have any and the canned fruit they do have is ridiculous priced. But hey, it’s not a real grocery store. Customer service is meh. They aren’t terrible, the woman I spoke to just seemed super monotone.

They have big sandwiches for a low price, great place for feeding large parties. The veggies are fresh and the meat is sliced thin and piled high, the staff is friendly and they have a great selection of beer, wine, cigarettes/cigars, snacks, and all my favorite beverages! This is definitely a one stop shop!(They do have large trays for parties)

This place is so BOMB! I can’t wait to get another sandwich. I had ordered the Farris Wheel and it was so good. Don’t forget to call in your order because the lunch rush will be crazy! and the parking lot is a bit tight

Their sandwiches are wonderful and you get a lot for what you pay for. I am giving them a bad review today because of the woman they have behind the counter. I usually get my sandwiches from the guy who works there and never had a problem My sandwich was always $ 5.50. Yesterday, the lady charged me $ 5.99. I told her that wasn’t right. She said the bread I chose cost $.50 more. That has never happened before and I told her that. She said that that was the way it has always been. Other regulars looked confused as well and it was not on the menu. I was in a hurry so I paid the extra but I told her I won’t go back as long as she is there.

About the same amount that you would spend on Subway but the sandwiches are LOADED. Everything is great, I like the Ferris Wheel. They have some good vegetarian options as well. Definitely call your order in ahead to avoid a wait. If it’s lunch rush the wait may be a little long.

$ 5 or $ 5.50 for a MASSIVESANDWICH!!! Yes please. I used to be a fan of Jersey Mikes until they raised their prices to $ 8 for one stinkin sandwich. You can get a normal sandwich here for $ 5 or one with a few different meats on it for $ 5.50. And they’re huge, I ate half and was fine. And oh, if you want a drink and chips(dirty potato chip brand! yum) it’s only $ 1.25 extra. What a steal. Tons of sandwiches to choose from too. And I don’t know what that Stef girl who wrote a review was talking about regarding a rude lady working there. The 3 girls behind the counter and making sandwiches were all very nice and making suggestions of what tastes best with what. I even saw a man working there(seemed like the owner) go out of his way to put some additional sauces/dressings in a big bag for this guy who ordered 17 sandwiches! If someone is placing an order for 17 sandwiches this place must be good! Don’t know what it is with these Miramar spots, but this one also charges .50 on debit/credit card transactions. Best sandwiches around for sure though!

I just came here on my lunch break, a fellow co worker let me know they have some up to par sandwiches, which they do. At least what I just tried was alright. Nothing out of ordinary. Im fond of the jalapeños, they were actually some what spicy, and What did stand out you may ask? The woman who took my order. Ugh no can not stand people with negative attitudes and their«fuck my life» face. I don’t know her story or life but come on people we all have issues and when I come to work regardless of my personal issues or maybe I’m just being lazy as fuck, I will put my best face forth. Is a little friendly customer service to much to ask for? Like you don’t need to engage in conversation with me but at least be pleasant enough to where I may want to return. Maybe send your employees to subway you might be able to get some customer service pointers there? The man who took my payment was not too friendly nor rude even that is fine rather then having your miserable life face on .My work buys lunch from these people for our employees over the weekend, like what??? No. earn your business guys, like hello.

I love buying my sandwiches here. It cheap and definitely can feed two people. Every time I drop by the post office I would grab my favorite sandwich: California. It has that crunchy, salty bacon with that fresh avocado slice. So good… The sandwich big and fat and they are definitely generous on the meats and topping.

I walked in here after checking out the tattoo shop across the way. I will admit, I thought it was weird that they made sandwiches, but decided to try one since the prices were decent. ITWASTHEONEOFTHEBESTFOODDECISIONSOFMYLIFE! I ordered a Benny Special and in a few minutes they handed it over with a smile. BOOM! ANEXPLOSIONOFMAGICALSANDWICHFIREWORKSINMYMOUTH. I love this place. It gets super busy during lunch time Mon-Fri because they sell orgasms in the form of sandwiches. I will admit, I went here the other day and they skimped on the meat! But that’s okay, it was still MMMMMMazing.

Stopped in to buy a few lotto tickets since the jackpot was over $ 300MIL. Had no major problems on this visit, but it can get busy in here. It’s at the corner of Black Mtn Rd and Miramar Rd. Prices are not the cheapest, but they do have everything you need in a liquor store.

I was craving a fabulous sandwich and Qwik-Korner won over Subway and Panera Bread. I was not disappointed at all. First, the food. They have a menu with a variety of different sandwich combinations all for under $ 5(tax included). A decent selection of bread choices and toppings. You can also get a sandwich made with whatever ingredients they have. I opted for their California(turkey, bacon, avocado and jack cheese) on sour dough with the works. It was LOADED with meat and fillings. There was even a lot of fresh avocado and it was properly prepared for sandwich purposes. My usual complaint with sandwiches from restaurants is there is too much bread. This was not the case here. It was delicious! It is also huge! It could have easily been 2 – 3 meals for me. Aside from regular sandwiches, they also have a selection of hoagies. Some of their sandwich choices are hot, but most are cold. Service was great! The two guys working were enthusiastic and friendly. They knew it was our first time there and said we’d love their sandwiches and we did! They have a huge assortment of non-alcoholic beverages — more options than I’ve ever seen in a convenience store. Prices for drinks more than grocery stores, less than delis and most convenience stores. The deli has pretty late hours– until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Rating is based on service along with food quality for price.

The thought of eating food from a liquor store is about as appealing as licking a lama’s butthole. But trust me people, these sandwiches are DAMNTASTY. ANDTHISISMYFAVORITESPOTFORGRABBINGLUNCHWHILEWORKING. They are all $ 5 or under, including tax. They are all generous in size. I mean, Jesus, I can only eat half at once and then I chuck the other half into the office fridge to gorge upon the following day. The guys who work in there are pretty cool. I sort of want to have a beer with them some day. So back to the sandwiches: they have lots of types of meat, bread choices and vegetables. I ordered the Newman(turkey, roast beef, peppers, and veg with avocado). DAMNGOOD! They have a good beer selection too. Not just typical crap, but nice micro brew selections like Ballast Point.

It seems like this Qwik Korner has been here forever, yet I rarely have ventured into it. I went in here to grab a single-size bottle of milk on my way to Lake Miramar, but the price was a bit higher than at a Circle K or am/pm. While it is on the dingy side, at least it’s ok that there’s a convenience store near MCAS Miramar. You know, just in case something happens at the Filling Station and you need certain«supplies.»
