I wish I could have rated this based upon my actual dining experience. However, after waiting for 1.5 hours we left. We arrived to Red Lobster and signed up. Two hostess spent more time talking then anything else. We were told it was a «45 minute wait» and since we had been wanting to dine here we decided to wait. After an hour, we checked in to make sure they did not forget about us, we were told«you’re next» …30 minutes later… same, «you’re next» … we witnessed 2 other parties leave since they too had been waiting for over an hour. There was 1 yes 1 busboy for the entire restaurant and 7 tables were empty… needless to say, we grew impatient and frustrated more than anything at the lack of attention to potential customers. Just ridiculous and extremely unorganized.

Food was just ok. Lobster too cook. asked for my husband for his meat rare and it came well. The waitress was nice and she gave us a new piece of meat. For me i guess for the price of the food ans the quality of the all resturant and servixe it just doesn t worth. Won t be back

Red Lobster never disappoints with their amazing biscuits! Unlimited. I can just keep eating these over and over… haha, carb-load! I did the build-your-own-meal and got the chicken, with chicken pasta and mac & cheese for $ 15. Pretty decent price for the food. it was pretty filling. I was pretty full after… which also included like 4 – 5 biscuits as well. Our server was very attentive and I really appreciate it since it was I came in with a party of 9. Food came out quick, although some of the salads came out after the meals… which was odd. Other than that, everything was good!

Was seated right away and server was helped me out with our drinks. I ordered the Ultimate Feast. This contains the lobster tail, shrimps, and crab legs. The portion of the meal was enough to feed two. This meal also came with your choice of salad. While waiting for our food, the server provided biscuits for us to munch on while we waited. Overall experience, not bad for its price as it is large enough to feed two.

Dined in today for dinner. Sadly, the place lost 1 star for bad service. Our waiter seemed to like the table next to us better or something because he kept going to their table. We had to wait a good 9 mins to give our order after he brought us our water which we also waited 5 mins from when we sat down. It wasn’t busy either. This was around 8 pm. We gave him our order and finished off our first basket of biscuits. We were still waiting for our food so he had asked if we wanted another basket of biscuits to which we said yes because my son wanted more biscuits. So we waited and waited. Our food arrived, but no biscuits. After our food arrived, he disappeared for a long while from our table. He was, however, making a few stops to the table next to us. So my husband stopped him and ask if we could have more biscuits. Apparently he forgot. He brought us our biscuits, but by that time we were all stuffed and ended up having leftovers to bring home. Well, after bringing our biscuits, he stopped coming to our table. So when my husband saw him going to the next table again, he just told our waiter if we can get 2 boxes. Even though our waiter kept walking away as my husband asked him that, he said sure no problem. Well, he came with 2 boxes but no bag. But he gave 2 boxes and a bag to the table next to us. He was quick to give us our check though. Overall, we didn’t feel like we were treated as customers. We are not complicated customers either. I know remember his name too, but this review is not to blast the waiter. It’s just to show my experience tonight. I have had great experiences here before and I hope that this was just a bad night. Nonetheless, as a former waiter, one should always provide the best service regardless of a bad day. Just saying. Food was good though.

I ordered the Lobster, Shrimp & Salmon priced at $ 27.99. I was so looking forward to this treat! However, I came away disappointed with the food quality and the manager’s response. The Lobster had a bad smell and was mushy. Katie my wonderful server said«no problem», and took it back. Eventually I was brought another lobster that was tasty. In addition, I ordered the bourbon pecan sweet potatoes. Sounds good right? Well they add a scoop of butter on top to sweet potatoes made with butter. The result is sweet potatoes totally saturated with butter. It was like eating a cube of butter. So Katie asks me what I want instead and I tell her corn and say please tell the chef to «undercook» the corn. She saids«no problem», and about 10 minutes late the corn comes and is completely over cooked. I tell Katie this and she is just so sweet and apologizes but it’s not her fault. I ask to speak to the manager. Josh come over and I share my customer experience with him. Josh is polite and thanks me for my feedback but that’s it. For a $ 30 meal I expect better. Am I crazy?

I have yet to find good oysters outside of New England! Do not purge them of the salt water! Maybe I’m spoiled, spending so much time on cape cod. First set of silverware was dirty. Biscuits were undercooked, and no butter was provided. With that said, they tasted good, and they were bottomless, must have had 7 while waiting for my entreé. The welcome person was very nice, and so was the waitress. I ordered the lobster tacos, w/sweet pecan potatoes, and slaw. They brought the slaw out first. I meant it to be for the tacos. Is it weird to eat the slaw separately… I think so. Lobster doesn’t taste as plump and juicy as it should. Disappointed. Crying baby won’t shut up!!! Seriously ppl bring that kid outside!!! It’s a quiet Monday night. Tacos took 23 minutes to get to me and they were Luke warm. Obviously been sitting while the waitress was doing god knows what! For what red lobster advertises I expected a fresh great product. I should have known better.

Red Lobster. There are plenty of wonderful seafood places in our beautiful city but sometimes you just patronize a good olé standby. What else can be said about Red Lobster? One of the best places to get a biscuit this side of the Mississippi and some deep fried seafood. I get the Admiral’s Feast because it is gluttony at its finest. Rule of thumb: Dine at old people’s time around 4 – 5 and won’t have to wait for a table. Only negative about this visit: No Budweiser. Shame, shame, shame!

This was really unfortunate. First our waiter was kind, but very awkward. He barely spoke and used a lot of facial expressions when taking our orders. There were awkward silences because he would just stare and wait for us to respond, without saying anything. I ordered last, so I had to stare at him the whole time until he got to me. 2 of my friends were still glancing at their menus and used a good 5 – 10 seconds before looking up and realizing he was waiting on them. Then when we all finished dinner, he offered the check and brought it over BEFORE offering the dessert menu… And the food… I ordered the garlic shrimp and seafood stuffed sole combination. Instead of a side and a salad, I got a cup of clam chowder… The size of the sole filet was embarrassingly small and and had literally no flavor. I’m hoping that the lighting in the restaurant was the reason, but the filet looked somewhat gray. I purposefully ate the shrimp last so I didn’t have that bland taste left in my mouth. I’m not sure what they mixed the seafood with for the stuffing but it literally had NOTASTE. I topped it with lemon and salt after first trying it, and then it just tasted like lemon and salt. ehhh. I hate writing bad reviews, but for the price they ask for, I expect a lot more from Red Lobster

I’ve never experienced the wonder that is Endless Shrimp so when my shrimp-loving friends mentioned that the promotion was winding to an end, I jumped at the opportunity to join them. Bear in mind that to be American is to eat until you hurt, to learn to ignore satiety signals, and to cultivate the discipline to then eat another skewer(or two). I am a big fan of being American. We walked in and I was surprised by the romantico lighting(or lack thereof). We were seated in a comfy booth and greeted by our friendly and efficient waiter. I prepared for the onslaught of shrimp by eating very little for lunch. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad strategy. My friend sent me a published reminder guide to eating Endless Shrimp and it advised us to hold off on fillers. I couldn’t help myself by the time dinner rolled around and made the rookie mistake of eating several of those green things called broccoli(severely overcooked and limp) and perhaps a baked potato(which was very well baked). Also, the cheesy biscuits were divine and flaky. Ohhhh yeah. We tried the breaded shrimp, shrimp scampi, and teriyaki grilled shrimp. My favorite was the teriyaki grilled shrimp sans teriyaki sauce(which was too sweet). The shrimp was tender, plump, and had a great smokey flavor. My tablemates seemed to enjoy the shrimp scampi but I didn’t like that they were drowning in butter. I’d say that breaded shrimp was my number two pick. The breading was light and crisp. We were shooting for 100 shrimp each but I waved my white napkin by number 25. My friend devoured 45 and she could have eaten more. I’m not sure how many the other friend ate but I’m sure it was fewer than 45. We left as losers.

My buddy had a gift card here and in spirit of all you can eat shrimp we thought we would give it a try. So there are 6 different kinds to choose from and you can pick any 2 at a time. The scampi is probably the best one and teriyaki was the next best in my opinion but the rest weren’t really that good. Unfortunately I don’t think it is something I would come back for.

I know that hating on chain restaurants is the cool thing to do, but this weekend was my first trip ever to a Red Lobster and it was pretty darn fun. We came for the endless shrimp, which is not in fact a buffet, but a chance to ask for refills on your order. The meal consists of the infamous Cheddar Bay biscuits, a side salad, your choice of sides(mostly vegetable options) and two shrimp entrees from a list of five choices. Reading about this promotion online, there was lots of advice to avoid everything except the shrimp itself, but I loved those biscuits and generally like to eat some vegetables because… well, you know… health! If your goal is a fun meal rather than maximum shrimp count, those«extras» are important. I was a bit bummed that they didn’t have the pineapple habanero coconut bites, but seeing as I thought the breaded shrimp were too much fried stuff to handle, I probably wouldn’t have loved them anyway. I do wish they’d subbed in a different shrimp option to make up for it though. The garlic shrimp scampi were great at the beginning of the meal(and the swimming pool of garlic oil was great for dipping those biscuits), but were a bit rich by the end. The«teriyaki» sauce on the grilled shrimp was a bit too sweet, but fortunately they were willing to give us skewers without. That was probably also the healthiest option, although I don’t think anyone eats endless shrimp when they’re on a diet. All in all, it was a fun time and I would definitely do it again. But not more than once a year.

It’s 11:01PM and I’m experiencing so much regret right now. I partook in the endless shrimp special and ate 45 shrimp. What I regret is not eating more. I feel a little too good right now, like I could possible jog around the block. I prefer to feel a little overstuffed after eating at a buffet– you know that feeling where you need to let loose just the top button of your pants and want to lie down and not move. Alas, I think I had an appropriate amount of endless shrimp. Disappointing, I know. The problem being endless shrimp and appropriate should never be in the same sentence. I had been prepping for this even for about a week. I checked out a few blogs with tips and heeded most. I just had one of the delectable cheddar bay biscuits and didn’t fill up on carbalicious sides. I definitely did not mimic those you tube kids who went to Red Lobster with the goal of eating 7000 calories in shrimp. On our first round, we shared the shrimp scampi, grilled teriyaki shrimp, grilled teriyaki shrimp without the teriyaki sauce(which I’m just gonna call grilled shrimp from now on. Honestly, why not just add«grilled shrimp» to the endless shrimp menu. People like the appearance of more options. As it were, you get to select from 5 shrimp dishes. But, I digress), and popcorn shrimp. Unfortunately, they ran out of the jalapeño yada yada shrimp, which sounded unappealing anyway. In a particular order: 1, Grilled shrimp 2. Shrimp Scampi 3. Popcorn shrimp(sort of a tie with the scampi, actually) 4. Teriyaki grilled shrimp I went in thinking that the scampi would be my favorite, but they were just a little too buttery and filling. The grilled shrimp(aka no teriyaki sauce) are where it’s at. A little salty, but with a nice charred flavor and crisp texture. Really, all the shrimp were cooked well and larger than I expected. I would say small to medium in size. I was even taken with the popcorn shrimp and the accompanying cocktail sauce. Surprisingly, there was just a thin layer of breading on the shrimp. All this shrimp for a mere $ 16.99 is a steal. Hurry before this deal is outtro! Trust me, I’m not getting paid for this. Another regret, I wish I had tried the linguini with shrimp, but I wanted to stay true to my cardinal rule of avoiding carbs at buffets.

Friday night and the restaurant is EMPTYYET there’s a 25 minute wait??? What the F? Management needs to learn something from Phil’s BBQ across the street where there is a line around the block. The only saving grace here is the bartender, Michael. He was attentive and friendly. We had the mussels which were garlicky and delicious. Big portion too! Also had the jalapeño honey shrimp lettuce wraps which were a bit too sweet as the dish went on… started off good but all the sweetness made me nauseous. Sorry, but Skip this place.

this was my very first time trying a red lobster and we had a very nice experience. We came on a Wednesday night around 730 and there was no wait. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean with small touches of elegance. Much nicer than many of the other corporate chains. There was a live lobster tank, many dining rooms and a nice full bar. We sat in a comfy booth and Gabe greeted us. He was a fantastic server, offering great menu knowledge and quick service. The complimentary cheddar biscuits are quite possibly the best thing they serve. Warm, and perfectly cooked with a strong delicious flavor. We both tried the endless shrimp special(16.99) which offered 5 styles of shrimp including shrimp scampi, teriyaki shrimp, pineapple habanero shrimp, hand battered shrimp and shrimp alfredo. We tried all but the hand battered and they were all very good. Great bang for your buck! Even the mashed potatoes were above average. Next time we look forward to trying cocktails and some other menu options.

If you don’t know this is right next to Phils BBQ. Huge parking lot. It was kind of somewhat busy on a Thursday night and there was a party of 6 in front of us. It took us about 10 – 15 minutes to get seated. The wait wasn’t bad. There’s a bar if you wanted to kill time drinking. The Asian tourist family were so rude to the host, all the servers and even the manager! Every worker at Red Lobster remained calm, patient and didn’t even give any sass back. They dealt with the situation so good! I work in customer service so I understand how customers get mad when they have to wait to be seated. The Ultimate feast 28.99 was good. Lobster was cooked way better and not as dry as the first time I tried this place at the Mira Mesa location. My boyfriend got the four course feast 17.99. He loved it. My favorite was the dessert. The brownie was so hot and tasted very fresh. The complementary cheddar biscuits are delicious and the server actually gives you more! Our server, I keep forgetting his name. He said it but I also asked. I think it’s Sterling but I’m probably wrong. He was very nice and attentive. Total came out to almost $ 65 with tip. Lots of left overs too!

Come for the cheddar biscuits, stay for the… cheddar biscuits! Honestly, one of the most random meals of my life. When I was presented with mountains, feasts, combinations and platters of seafood, I ate meat. The«Create Your Own Combination» allows you to choose two or three of the following for $ 18.99 or $ 23.49 respectively. — Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp — Seafood-Stuffed Sole — Wood-Grilled Fresh Salmon — Walt’s Favorite Shrimp — Garlic Shrimp Scampi — Steamed Snow Crab Legs — Shrimp Linguini Alfredo — Garlic-Grilled Shrimp — 7 oz. Peppercorn-Grilled Sirloin For my first item I chose the sirloin steak. It was overly peppered, cooked to a perfect medium, a tad tough and oddly shaped. Decent at best. For my second item I chose the sirloin steak. Yep, another one. Once again it was overly peppered, cooked to a perfect medium, a tad tough and oddly shaped. Decent at best. For my third and final item, I opted for the sirloin steak. You guessed it. Three of these little hockey pucks. Overly peppered, cooked to a perfect medium, a tad tough and oddly shaped. Decent at best. So, my meal consisted of 21 ounces of red meat at a place that makes their millions asking you to «sea food differently.» I believe I did exactly that.

9÷17÷15 — I’m a happy girl tonight. I was so hungry I could’ve eaten 10 lobsters when we arrived, so I ordered lobster stuffed mushrooms and they were ooey gooey with cheese, lobster and mushroom magic. I hadn’t had them in a long time, but used to order them a lot when I worked and went out to lunch with co-workers, or my boss. They were filled with a good amount of lobster, and the mushrooms were firm, not overcooked. Then I said I’m going to order my Rock lobster tonight so I’m not disappointed again, and Red Lobster always cooks it to perfection; juicy, like it was tonight. It was humongous! Seriously humongous! I like that! After I sat at the bar, the bartender came over and we said hi to each other, then she asked, «What would you like»? The sweet blonde bartender went to the back and got my food and brought it out on 2 trays and went over everything, then packaged it all to-go. I had asked for lemons and cocktail sauce and was really happy she didn’t miss the little things. In fact, she was a perfect bartender. Great bartender and nice friendly girl. I watched a little of the football game on TV while I waited, and just relaxed in the A/C. I was hungry and tired! I laughed about someone I dated back in the day on the Chicago Bears, who I had met when with a girlfriend, at a benefit show. I remembered when he told me he was a football player, I asked him if he played on a ‘team’ LOL. I think our bar tab alone was something like $ 1500, and he just walked up and paid it like it was nothing. Back in the day, that was a high bar tab lol. We had continued with an after-party, with my gf Angie, and about 10 or so other athletes(baseball, basketball, hockey, and football teams of Chicago). A long time ago, but funny cause he took me there my very first time. There were also some salads, baked potato, popcorn chicken, cheddar biscuits, and mozzarella sticks. There will be lots of leftovers. I’m so stuffed now. Or should I say«fluffed»? It was a great meal from Red Lobster, and so much better than my last one. Great job, guys! _______________ I’m kinda disappointed with RL again. Usually, I can’t go wrong with the Rock Lobster Tail, which isn’t too too expensive, compared to their fresh and whole lobsters, but I try to be frugal. I’m not like Alex Guarnachelli, where I grew up with parents who would rather buy a pound of chanterelle mushrooms than pay the rent. Lol. So i didn’t wanna spend too much, and I wasn’t feeling like cooking and ordered Swordfish, Grilled. Now, they rarely even have swordfish, and maybe that’s a good thing. Ha-ha. When the server said they had swordfish I ordered it cause they’re usually out. Mind you, he didn’t know about my love of Swordfish. It was okay. But not great. A little ‘off’ — Not like in Maui! No dark grill marks,(actually, no grill marks at all, no juicy goodness oozing with freshness. I paid $ 23.00 for fracking swordfish,(found out later the Lobsterfest prices are a LOT less) and it was Eh! It was as if the cook got tired of paying attention to only one little fish. Lol. The last swordfish they had, they said when I ordered. Lol. But hey, it’s Red Lobster. Another chain I predict to go down the drain in another 10 years. They’re not what they used to be. EVERYTHING used to be good: clam chowder, fresh catch, steaks, desserts, alcoholic beverages, etc. now you’re lucky if ONE thing is right on your plate. I’d take a picture of my Swordfish, grilled asparagus(which wasn’t cooked) and rice pilaf, but I bet you’d be as unimpressed as I was. My biggest disappointment is that the server who took my order never once told me about ‘Lobsterfest’, an event going on. Had I known, I’d have ordered the ‘wood fired shrimp, salmon & lobster’, and not the swordfish. Red Lobster failed to tell me about the specials. I mean, come on, I don’t have a clue what’s left in the kitchen. I spent way too much money on bad food. I hate when that happens! Red, you disappointed me tonight! :(
