Revive Salon & Spa

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I scheduled a service at 12:30pm. I show up at 12:00pm just because I was a new client. I provided the girl at the front with my name and sat down. 12:40pm rolls around and still, nobody calls my name. No recognition that I am sitting there, waiting.
I approach the blonde woman sitting up front and ask, how much longer the wait will be. She appears confused and asks me, «whats your name?» No smile, no facial expression, and no apologies for my wait.
She walks around, and comes back to tell me it will be another 5 minutes and then has the nerve to ask me «do you still want to wait?» Wow! I’ve been waiting patiently and now she asks if I even want to continue waiting. I said «yes.» She looked at me as if she was annoyed. After a few more minutes, I decided to leave. I was waiting for someone named Shiva. Shiva, if you have a client scheduled at 12:30pm, respect their time or at least come out personally and let the client know you are running behind. Before I left, I asked the blonde woman sitting in the front what her name was — Emma. Emma, you have horrible customer service skills. You had zero clients waiting in the salon, you could have been more attentive and recognized who I was and remembered my name at the very least. I will not be returning to this horrible salon purely because of the poor service. I live 2 minutes away but I would rather drive somewhere that provides excellent service and quality work.
Horrible.

I saw Mena and she was amazing. I finally found my go to girl! She’s super friendly and spunky. I don’t feel like I’m just getting injections, I also get beauty tips and skin secrets. She’s genuine, caring and always makes sure I’m comfortable. I highly recommend Mena.

Overall 3.75 stars. Located in CV in the brand new Pacific Highlands center where Crunch/​Trader Joe’s are located, it is upstairs (stairs are kind of hidden so you have to look for it) in the building next to Crunch.
I came here for their Grand Opening event (thanks to a fellow Unilocaler for creating an «event» which alerted me to the free event).
It was pretty busy but the gal up front was super friendly and gave me and my hubby each our own goodie bag (nice goodie giveaways) filled with a water bottle and beauty samples.
The problem is that after that we weren’t paid any attention to, no tour nothing. So I’m not exactly sure what all the services they provide are. It would’ve been nice if someone told us any specials going on or showed us around, hence the 3.75 stars, cuz I probably would’ve got something if they had eyebrow wax or haircut special. So we just walked to the food counter and snacked then left lol.
They had cookies and treats and even champagne. I just drank bottled water.
Very clean, I got a menu of services (pricey, of course. It’s CV after all) then went to Trader Joe’s. I personally probably wouldn’t go here because I have a eyebrow and haircut lady that are both very good and a fraction of the cost here.
But if you’re looking for a «fancier» place in CV, you may want to check this place out.

I had my hair cut, colored and styled by only the best Brett! Love, love, love how it came out. If your looking for someone that will make sure u walk out of the salon satisfied and looking like a movie star look no further. Brett is a true artist and absolutely knows what he’s doing. He was super professional and made sure I was well taken care of plus the salon is super nice and elegant. I couldn’t be happier with my first experience at Revive Salon & Spa this is a place I will definitely come back to and refer to anyone that likes get pampered. Don’t forget ladies Brett is the go-​to man!

Here are a few reasons why you should go to Revive Salon & Spa on Village Way:
First — The salon is GORGEOUS! The minute you walk in, you seriously feel like you’re part of a photo shoot. Nothing short of AHmazing. From the natural lighting, spotless counters, hair candy displays, luscious floral arrangements, oh-​so modern décor, glossy flooring, comfy seating, to the friendly front desk attendants and beautiful stylists, it is evident that Revive takes pride in what they represent and care about their clients from the moment they take a step into their domain. To me, it’s the «Nordstrom» of Hair Salons.
Second– Enjolie! I’ve been going to her for 7 years and she is THEE BEST stylist EVER. Enjolie is one of the Senior Stylist at Revive. Effervescent, Extremely Detailed, Cutting Edge, Smart, Sweet, Stunning, and she never ever fails me. She actually listens to my requests and offers suggestions that best suits my needs. She not only delivers every single time but has the best personality so it’s easy to talk to her. I would recommend her over and over to anyone but beware because you’ll never leave her once you start! She is a SUPER STAR and books quickly.
Third– Just Do It! Everyone at Revive is stylish, knowledgeable, friendly, and the management is always so sweet and accommodating (Christine, especially).
Thank you Revive for opening another salon closer to me! I love what you guys have done with the place! Keep up the great work. You are the epitome of great business and success for many more years to come.

If you want a great hair cut as well as a great color don’t look further: Brett is the stylist to go to, he is the only guy in the salon but has a great sense of humor, always humming and smiling. He is an Angel, listens to what you say and great advisor. He knows what he does, even if you don’t know what you want exactly!

Taylor is amazing. She has been doing my boyfriend’s hair for years. She’s incredibly sweet, and very good with hair. It’s a pleasure to be around her.

Brett is absolutely AMAZING! I have never met a hairstylist with such great vibes who is truly passionate about his work. I went in for somewhat of a drastic change (red with black roots to all over plum) before we started Brett took the time to make sure we were both talking about the same color and I would get exactly what I wanted, which I definitely did! I have a TON of hair and since this was basically a color correction as well it was a bit of a process but time flew by in his chair. I felt pampered the entire time and he is hilarious so it was a blast. I have received multiple compliments and even had a coworker comment «what a beautiful eggplant color» which is the exact word Brett and I used to describe what we were going for. I have a beautiful and still very healthy new ‘do, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair after meeting him!

came here for opening day (s)…
day 1 myself and 2 girlfriends came to get our hair done for a night out on the town…
they were offering $ 10 blow outs! nice…
we all got treated to Bellini’s and a huge spread of snacks (meats, cheese, crackers, desserts)
I had Selena doing my hair… she was super sweet and did a fabulous job on my hair! 4 days later… my hair is still shiny and beautiful.
they also had a braid bar going on… so i took my little girl in the following day to get her hair done before her birthday party…
they did an adorable job on her braid and i had another bellini or 2 =)
kids loved the dessert bar!
glad to have this addition to our neighborhood.

Had a Grand Opening n what a crowd! Wonderful place with great energy n staff. My stylist Vida is «off the charts talented» (that’s why I followed her to Revive). Really enjoy getting my hair cut here! Highly recommend!

Wow. They got a coveted spot in the new HIghlands Ranch Center upstairs with a ton of room. Full Med Spa and full service salon. They have been open since September but had a special Holiday party with 10 $ blow outs and treatments, make-​up, Champs and apps. My girlfriends and i made appointments for our birthdays since we were all going out anyways. Such a fun thing to do. I love the Unite line so it was an added treat for my hair. Lots of ladies getting dolled up, I even snuck in a make-​up which I loved. I believe her name was Tiffany. She rocked it and I WAS a make-​up artist. Got a lot of compliments while I was out too. They have a location in Mission Valley and are expanding and happy to have them to the neighborhood!

This was my first time here. I got my first blowout by Taylor she’s very sweet and did a wonderful job!

Sheila for massage. Vida for hair. Both are amazing! My husband and I see them both.
Sheila is hands down the best massage therapist we have ever been to and we have had massage a lot in our travels. She listens and adjusts the massage to what our bodies need and we seriously leave there feeling physically and mentally better!
Better yet we were both ecstatic our stylist Vida who we have seen for over a year moved to that location. She is amazing with color and an expert with cut.
About the salon… it is new, clean and beautiful! The front desk staff is professional and friendly. They are beginning to recognize us with makes it personal.
I highly recommend trying this place out!

I came here for a facial from Jennifer and a haircut from Taylor. I must say, both were spectacular!
–The physical space is immaculate, and the environment is energetic and professional
–Both Jennifer and Taylor were incredibly professional, courteous, and showed expertise in skincare and hair
–Pricing was right in-​line with expectations, and in fact, I was so WOW’ed by my experience that it felt like a bargain!
Will definitely be going back. Thank you Carmel Valley REVIVE.

Holly is my esthetician and she is AMAZING. I have been going to holly for eyebrow and leg waxing for a little over a year now and she knows what she is doing! She makes it quick and painless. She makes sure that you are completely satisfied and you walk out of there looking PERFECT. And trust me I am picky… Very very picky. But I have never left unsatisfied and my eyebrows Always look perfect and my legs smooth as a babies bottom. I am even about to go get my first microdermabrasion facial from her in the next few weeks and I can not wait ! I can say I will never use another esthetician.
I’ll keep you updated on that facial !

I’ve been looing for a good hairsylist & hair color specialist for the last 2 years and I went through 3 places. No one seems to cover my grey’s, that last only two weeks and I only have a little in the front.
The last place i went use to be my old hair dresser that I knew from a diffrent salon, 5years ago.
Their hair color products didn’t cover my greys and she made my the top of my scalp darker hair look darker, like back to balck even though she used highlights.
I was going to give up, until my co-​worker told me to check out her hair place Revive. She goes to the one in Mission Valley, but I wasn’t aware there was a new one by my house in Carmel Valley.
The recptionist Davis recommend to two people– Jannah was the second hairstlyist/​haircolor specialist that was available.
I’m so glad to meet Jannah, she made my hair back to that golden brown i wanted.
She is defintiely the chosen one! Her hair assistant Caitlin was amazing too giving me this leavender heating pad on my scalp I never had with my shampoo head massage.
They even offered to get my coffee at Starbucks? And let me use their IPAD to look up hair styles? Who does that?!@

I was there for a classic facial. The aesthetician was very nice she talked to me about a few different ways to care for my skin and what products to use. The reason why I’m giving the this service 3 stars, is because I feel like a third of the time I was there the aesthetician spent getting stuff ready or things to work. During my facial the steamer was never on. I think she tried to get it to work but it didn’t. The aesthetician mention how she was going to proceed with the steamer a few times but the steamer never made an appearance :(. I’ve had facials many times before and the steamer seems to be essential as it opens up the pores to cleanse. Lastly the lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. I’m glad I tried this place, but I’ve had better facials at other places. Lastly the Location is convenient and the décor is very pleasant.

I have been into the Carmel Valley location twice now. My experience both times were beyond exceptional. The girls at the front counter are so friendly and took care of my every need. Taylor did my hair both times, she’s easy to talk and so kind! The second time she did this amazing lavender ombré with a cut. It turned out just how I wanted, my hair is healthy and feels so soft. Then I saw Kristen for some dysport. Kristen answered every question I had, is very professional, and gentle. The atmosphere at revive is so relaxing, very clean, and upscale I didn’t want to leave!!! Also, it’s affordable!!! I can’t wait to go back! :)

Taylor Ramirez is by far the best hair stylist ever! she is the only one I trust with my hair and she always gets the color right, I tell her what I’m looking for and she always exceeds my expectation, even better than what I envisioned in my head! I highly recommend using Taylor!

I haven’t met too many stylist who get curly hair, so once I found a good one, I had to follow! I met Enjolie at the other location in Mission Valley, and have been going to her for years! She is truly gifted at what she does, and is an expert with curly hair! And I must mention that the new location is BEAUTIFUL!!! and, all the girls at the new location are amazing as well, all very personable, truly a great staff!
