Rick Wiese – State Farm Insurance Agent

Rick is the man and his staff is awesome and easy to work with! They have saved me so much $$$$ on my personal and business insurance. By far the best insurance I have ever had. Claims are easy and fast compared to all my past companies.

I have been with the office of Rick Wiese for 14 years now and State Farm for over 30 years. With recent challenges brought on by all 3 of my teenage/​young adult drivers… I decided to look for more cost-​effective insurance options. After many frustrating conversations, I discussed the issue with Renee, of Rick Wiese’s office and she went out of her way to search out discounts and she was able to reduce our over-​all insurance costs — while still maintaining the highly reputable «State Farm» coverage.

If you care anything about your personal information this is not the insurance company for you. Has a large company name with a back of the trailer style of management. All the things you would come to expect from a company this large are basically nonexistent. My ex was able to call and get herself added to my account without my knowledge, all she had to know was my favorite super hero. when I called to question this and ask why I did receive a phone call, text, email or even a letter I was treated I was irrational. They never send updates on account changes, there is no follow through with anything you ask for and they will be very very rude and defensive if you question them on why certain things, that it becomes a standard in even the smallest insurance companies aren’t happening. Don’t know about State Farm as a whole but this office is a joke.

We started working with Rick’s office when we first moved to San Diego from Canada, and they really guided us through the learning curve of getting acquainted with the way insurance is done (differently) here in the US.
We have (unfortunately) had to make a couple of claims (auto & home) and the service from Rick’s office, as well as direct from State Farm were AMAZING. Fast, thorough, and painless. We got a check way faster than expected.

I had been with State Farm for over 15 years, starting in Texas as a new driver under my parents policy and then moving to this agent in CA. Initially, yes they are great if you don’t need anything. However, over the last few months my husband and I have needed updates to our account, change of a bank account, etc. Simple little administrative tasks that we needed assistance on… so I thought. It was always an issue to get these items updated, their staff made me feel like I was bothersome. One personnel informed me that she receives 30 or 40 emails a day and it will take time to get to my email thus not contacting me for 2 weeks. I understand my needs were not top priority but all I was asking was for an update. Unfortunately I was chastised by them and received a very rude email (more than once from their staff).
If you don’t need assistance, don’t need your emails responded to for a while then there isn’t an issue. We did leave SF and found another insurance agency that is offering us more on our policy and charging us less. Great customer service goes a long way and is very important!

I am completely shocked at how bad the service is. They never answer the phone. A few months after my policy began, they started charging me $ 70 extra per month just for fun. State Farm is a joke and this office is proof of that. Do not bother.

Loved the staff, though I missed the chance to meet the office dog :). I definitely feel taken care of! I’ve been to several different state farm agents office and this one made me feel the most confident in what my decision was. I also feel like they know what they’re talking about what they’re doing. They’re very knowledgeable. I Highly Recommend this office to anyone.

Yesterday I was shopping for motorcycle insurance and I contacted Mr. Wiese’s office regarding a quote. Renee returned my message promptly, and worked with me in meeting my needs. The customer service was excellent and personable and very easy. I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates great customer service.
