Best damn sandwich around here. I especially love their vegetarian sandwiches with hummus. Very cool location and all around great place. The produce markets quality is impeccable. It’s like shopping in the old days at your local produce market.

Hand crafted immaculate boars head delicatessen! Fresh, glistening produce each and every morning! Best customer service I’ve ever seen! And a great place to take a date for lunch! Jami and Glenn, and there entire staff effortlessly make you feel like family upon first visit. That’s why I keep coming back! Madison who runs the register and deli is also a dime a dozen with one of the sweetest personalities in all of north park.

This is the best produce market in town right now, though Stehly Farms in Kensington is also good. I know I can always rely on Ripe to have a great mix of excellent produce and always a few unusual items. The people working there are all super friendly and nice. I love Ripe!

I can’t say I’ve ever been a HUGE lover of sandwiches but man this place has got me HOOKED. I’ve never had such huge cravings for sandwiches before until now!
It’s right on the corner next to Thorn Street Brewery and the BBQ place. It’s actually a little market but they also have a deli towards the back and it is soo delicious. The people that work here are also sooo friendly! They have pre-​set sandwiches you can order (specialty sandwiches for $ 9.99) and also build your own sandwiches for $ 7.99. It might take a little while for them to make the sandwiches but it is definitely worth the wait. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are huge! It was love at first taste and I will definitely be coming back especially since it’s a nice quick walk from my sister’s house too!
There’s also tables you can sit at outside so feel free to bring your furry friends! One of the workers even brought out bacon for my dog as a treat!
Plus, you can always go right around the corner to Thorn for a quick after drink too! I just gave you the perfect date! (Except I wolfed down my whole sandwich haha because I’m classy like that: D)

Location was cool, everyone was nice… and it was a great place to chill outside on a warm, sunny day, but I must have gone on an off day…
I was super surprised about how un-​yummy my sandwich was, especially after all the Unilocal love. I need to go back and try again, for sure… because what I had vs. what I’ve read just don’t match. Stale bread, bland ingredients… ya know… not a good combination.
We’ll see what happens next time.

I love this place! They have the best looking selection of local/​organic produce. They also carry local Mary’s air-​chilled chicken, which I love. I’ve eaten sandwiches from them many times and each time it was perfectly prepared. The sandwiches always have the most evenly proportioned ingredients! (One of my pet peeves at most sandwich joints)
Their customer service is also outstanding!
I would recommend this place to everyone and encourage people to support a small local business instead of your chain grocer.

Right around the corner from Thorn, walkable distance from my place, been seeing this on Unilocal for forever, so decided to give a try.
it’s a cute little organic shop on the corner, where they also sell sandwiches and apparently smoothies as well.
To me, a sandwich that costs around $ 10 seems pretty steep, but these sandwiches were pretty packed and they were fresh so well worth the money in my opinion.
I got the Jamaican turkey, it was great, just a small little kick to it if you like spicy, and gotta love the avocado and bread, soooo fresh! Instead of hitting up the food truck with mostly likely greasy food, stop on by the local organic shop and buy a lovely and filling sandwich instead! :)

Just came here for the first time for lunch and I’m pretty disappointed I never knew this place was here! Cool outside atmosphere and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. My boyfriend got the Jerk sandwich and I made a custom. They have Boars Head meat (YUM) and lots of options to choose from. Customer service was great, the gentleman that made our sandwiches was very welcoming. Thanks for the good time, I’ll definitely be back.

I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and my goodness, it was delicious. $ 9 for a sandwich and a pickle but the sandwich itself was full of meat and veggies. The dressing on the sandwich itself was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Friendly people, nice place, but the sandwiches were just okay. And not big enough to be filling. Yes, fresh but not a lot on toppings, or flavor. Sprouts or the option for toasting was not offered. I did like the produce section however, and will definitely be back for the locally grown organic items.

LOVE.THIS.PLACE. I love to shop here for fresh, local produce. If they do not have something out, they have checked in the back and found it for me. They are very helpful and it is always a pleasant experience. Last week I ordered a vegetarian deli sandwich and it was delicious. The ingredients were, of course, fresh and the combination of veggies was great. Because I loved it so much, I picked it up for a work meeting the same week and everyone raved about it. I am so excited to have a great deli just down the street from us. It doesn’t hurt that you can buy your sandwich and head next door to Thorn for a beer. :) Additional thumbs up for having a water dish outside for the pups.

I love stopping by here for a delicious and fresh sandwich! The staff is super friendly and they have an awesome selection of local produce and other local products as well! Perfect little spot that I definitely recommend visiting!

This place is a neighborhood gem! I’ve never had anything here I didn’t love. The Veggie Delight sandwich is just perfect, & the salads are so fresh and beautiful. The people are kind & always smiling. I love this place.

Went shopping at the opposite grocery store, which was a pity because on our way back we passed this little store. All kinds of fresh vegetables and fruit. Very well and nicely arranged. A pity we just bought everything already in the other store…
We did by 2 smoothies which tasted great!

As others have mentioned, everything is noticeably fresh. We stopped by for sandwiches this afternoon and were not disappointed.
You can taste each element of the sandwich individually because the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. Impressive.

I stopped by here for a sandwich, after attempting to play tennis. I was pretty hungry to had them make me their Jamaican Jerk sandwich with Spicy Jerk Turkey, Bacon,
Havarti cheese, light Ranch Dressing, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Avocado, on moist Squaw Bread for $ 8.99 (

The sandwich had a good I appeal. I liked the way all the ingredients were well loaded and layered and just darn good looking (
). The sandwich was heavenly, and I really enjoyed the mildly spiced jerk turkey. The bacon was Boar’s Head, so its flavor was very good and crispy that added great texture to the sandwich (
). The Havarti was light and flavorful, and the avocado spread well fresh and tasted great on this sandwich (
). It provided a nice cooling affect against the spicy turkey. A great sandwich, and I would not hesitate to order another one from this place.
