This rite aid is clean and the shelves are always well stocked and organized. I can’t comment on the pharmacy, but they have all the over the counter things you might need. They also have frozen food items, clothes, toys, holiday items, greeting cards, ice cream and a bunch of other miscellaneous items. However, I noticed they have an incredible amount of alcohol here. They probably sell a lot of it because of the college crowd. Not complaining because I’ll definitely come in here to get some booze from time to time, it’s just a funny observation haha. The thing I hate about this place is the long lines. 90% of the time there’s only one or two cashier, and the line will get backed up and you’ll be waiting maybe 10 minutes for one or two things. Customer service is almost non existent as paying for your items and them asking if you have a rite aid card is the only interaction you have with any of the employees. But whatever, sometimes less is more. This place is the biggest ‘store’ in the vicinity unless you’re going down to fashion valley or up to wal mart in Clairemont so they’re definitely secure for now.

The pharmacy is a joke. Me and my sister came down here to drop off a 2 prescriptions, they said it’ll be 30 – 45 minutes. My sister wasn’t feeling good so we decided to leave and come back when it’s ready. We called almost an hour later to see if it was ready they said no, it’ll be another 45 minutes because they hadn’t filled yet. We came down an hour later and they only had one available and they would need another 20 minutes to fill the other because they tried billing the insurance and didn’t go through. We had told them over the phone, when we called to see if it was ready. we would pay for it ourselves and they said ok. Don’t use this pharmacy.

I was craving ice cream and what better place for low prices. We get there and half the freezer is empty. I went with chocolate chip and rocky road. My husband is huge fan of chocolate malted crunch and they didn’t have it. He substituted. Reason for 2 stars is because chocolate malted crunch is their signature ice cream which they should’ve had.

I have prescription to pickup. They said waiting for 30 minutes. I have come back for 1:30 minutes, but they did not finish yet. They started to do it, and I have to wait 10 more minutes. I was really sick. I wanted to go home for resting.

I don’t like to give a bad review BUT since I work in an industry where customer service is important I thought that I’d write this in hopes that it helps. No one in this store has ever been rude to me until I needed to get thru to the pharmacy. When I called, someone answered and transferred me to the pharmacy where I sat on hold waiting for someone to pick up for 10 – 15 minutes. So, I hung up and called back. When I did, the same person answered and was about to transfer my call when I asked her if she wouldn’t mind letting the pharmacy know first that she was putting the call thru as I had already called and waited a long time for someone to pick up. Her response, was that it was not her concern. WHOSAYSTHAT???

I normally don’t write reviews but the service at this pharmacy is one of the worst I have seen. I was picking up a prescription for my wife and after waiting 20 minutes for help they took my information and said my wife needs a profile and then took them another 10 minutes to create a profile. They needed to call the doctor to get the prescription. The guy attending the counter acted so busy and pretty much ignored me not caring I was waiting. They finally call the doctor for the prescription. I had other questions about over the counter medicine the doctor recommended. The guy said I will call the pharmacist, the pharmacist was standing there and never came to help. My thumbs down for the staff, totally unpolite. Unless I had an emergency and this is the last place open, I will totally never use this pharmacy again.

I live down the street so I come to this rite aid often and most of the workers are extremely rude, have this monotone voice when they speak to you, and give means looks. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of them smile. They always have one checker and the lines stay long.

Despite the renovations, I would only give this place two stars. Every time I come, I feel like there’s a lack in employees. It’s hard to ask for help. OK customer service, takes forever to check out even though you may be behind one person in line. Hate picking up medicine at their pharmacy. They always lose stuff and are just a hassle to work with.

I don’t give many one star reviews, but I was so upset after shopping at this drugstore. UGHUGHUGH. Listen, a business is in business to make money. How some businesses stay in business is mystifying to me. You want to make money, right? That is the point of working so hard to build a business. So explain to me, why you let your employees treat your customers in such a way as to discourage them from spending money. We are visiting from out of town. We need a LOT of things. Snacks, drinks, OTC items from the pharmacy, and BEACHSTUFF. Towels, sunglasses, sun-screen. These are big ticket items. If we have bought everything we went in for, it probably would have totaled $ 100, since sunglasses alone would have been $ 40. Unfortunately for this business, the first stop we made was sunglasses, where an employee was trying to stock the sunglass holders. We tried to move around her to look at the racks. Every time I tried to turn the rack, she would stop, and glare at me. Seriously? You’re upset that I’m disrupting your stocking with SHOPPING in anticipation of giving your store money? OHTHEHORROR. So sorry that I disturbed your work by trying to give you my money! I have a solution for your problem, I’ll take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of businesses who will be glad to take my money from me.

Came here last night around 10pm to buy some first aid kits that were sold out at the other locations. Manager greeted me as in I walked in and as I left. I hate when I walk into a store and an employee just looks at me(especially if there aren’t many people around or walking in at the same time). Cashier was sweet and friendly. People tend to review stores when they have a bad experience so I wanted to leave a good experience note.

The worst pharmacist I have ever met in my entire life. I just picked up a new prescribed sleeping medication and was expecting the pharmacist to give me a short counselling about it. He just simply asked me to read the booklet on my own and take one tablet at bedtime. People who come to this pharmacy are mostly minorities who doesn’t speak perfect English, this pharmacist obviously won’t help with this problem. He is rude, has a thick accent, and acts like too cool to talk to you. He sets an example of why we have so much problem with medication compliance and adverse reaction in this country.

The worst service I ever had from a pharmacy. These people are not very educated or know how to use common sense. They held on to my prescription for 2 days while I was in need of the pain medications after my surgery. My doctor told me to take my prescription somewhere else and I did took ti to Walgreen and they filled it with no problems. These people don’t care about there customers and I made a complaint to their corporate and all I got was apologies, like that is going to do me any good now.

I prefer cvs– but Rite Aid is right up their alley. The lines are never too long here and this place is always organized ;)

The pharmacy has always been good, but the rest of the store is terrible. It seems like they’re alway out of pretty much everything in makeup/hair/personal care. However, parking is never an issue!

I’m convinced that this Rite-Aid is run by Nazis. First of all, on the outside of the store is a semi-large sign about some 15 minute guarantee, where if your prescription isn’t filled within 15 minutes you receive a $ 5 gift card. Sounds okay. Well after having a pleasant trip to the dentist, having my wisdom teeth removed. I though«Fuck Yeah, by the time my anesthetic wears off, I’ll have my Vicodan.» Sounds about right with this 15 minute guarantee. Well I get to the drop-off window and by now my anesthetic is wearing off, so I’m pacing like a crackhead who needs their fix, & the stupid ass chick behind the counter says, «You come back today, the pharmacist at lunch for 1 hour.» Seriously? WTF! There I was arguing with an asian Nazi, who barely speaks english over a $ 5 gift card, because the pharmacist took a lunch is totally MY fault. No gift card. FAIL. Secondly, I wanted ice cream because I just had the raddest experience at the dentist, & ice cream at that point, just makes sense. Well, the freezer was nearly empty. Whoever is in charge of the ordering of ice cream should be FIRED! Last I checked, when the case hold approximately 20 tubs of ice cream and only 5 have actual ice cream in them, means you needed to order, like yesterday! FAIL. Thirdly, The checkout line… I swear the checkers don’t know what they are doing. It’s like their first time at register, every time. There’s no reason you should have to stand in line for over 10 mins, because they are retarded. Who does the hiring here? FAIL. And lastly, 9 out of 10 times you come to this wonderful establishment~ you will be harassed by the neighborhood drunk begging for your spare change. Not only is he a drunk, he’s also a perv.

The reason I am rating this Rite Aid so low is because every time my boyfriend and I go into buy ice cream, they have a few flavors or are sold out. We haven’t gone in a couple times either, we go in like every week to check out their flavors and every time they have nothing. I know this is harsh, but without ice cream Rite Aid is nothing to me. DON’T GOTOTHISLOCATIONIFYOUARELOOKINGFORICECREAM.
