This is one of the best restaurants in San Diego. I order delivery from them almost weekly and receive wonderful food, very quickly, delivered by pleasant people. I highly recommend the lentil soup, and the grilled tomatoes ordered with the grilled ground beef(Kaboodeh?) The baby lamb shank is exquisite. The menu is huge. The prices are not; and the quantities are stunning. MYBRATTY son posted that picture!!!

Looking for an inexpensive quick lunch we happened upon this restaurant while strolling down 5th Avenue in the Gaslamp District. We decided to sit outside and take in the sidewalk scene. Our lunch consisted of a lamb kabob for my husband and a boneless chicken breast one for me. A lentil and barley soup was brought out along with flatbread. Soup was very tasty, nicely seasoned and a good start to our meal. Both kebobs were grilled and served with charred vegetables — tomatoes, peppers, and onions. There was also the addition of sumac seasoning on the table which sprinkled on the kebabs complimented them very well. My chicken kabob had the addition of turmeric which really added some good flavor! The service was very prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend this small restaurant for a taste of delicious Middle Eastern cooking!

This review is for Sadaf after hours. On the weekend evenings, this place turns into this loud bar with a huge dance floor. We started our night here because my friend said there are cheap drinks and good music. It was not that crowded around 11pm, but I figured it might get more crowded later. + NOCOVER + GOOD music… I mean, hip hop, rap, r&b…I love when they drop the 90s/00s songs. Back That Azz Up, anyone? Eh? One complaint. $ 5 Hennessy shots? AWESOME… however, I’m pretty sure they were watered down. Why do I think this? Because I cringe and hate the taste of it, but this tasted light and did not elicit that reaction. Also, we went across the street right after and got more Henn shots and… yup, tasted different. Other drinks tasted fine, but I’d be wary of the cheap Henn shots. Good music, no cover, overall decent place to start your night in Gaslamp.

Always amazing food and service. The food is always fresh, presented beautifully & comes out quickly. The portions are very large so it’s great if you want to take some home for leftovers or share with someone. I’ve been coming here for years & highly recommend it.

This review is not for the food which I do need to try it out. I come here on the weekends when it becomes an AKA nightclub. The Dj’s are awesome; DJ Xray(I’ve been told that he’s OG and well known by many) and DJ Sally who is such a HOT and beautiful lady. The mixes and songs that they play makes me wanna dance. They hype up the crowd and keeps it going. A great place to go if you want a quick fix of dancing without being all dressed up or impressing anyone. Oh and lastly, the drinks are okay. To me it’s weak. I had the bartender serve me a drink and I ordered a crown splash coke and it was expensive WATER. Ya I know. :(Kinda sucks but I’m glad that Star Bar is around the corner for drinks.

Ive been ordering the same thing every time for a few years now and have leave a review, Koobideh beef kabob and Cornish game hen plates are my favorite to split up with my family, I always get it w extra tomatoes, caesar salad and baklava to top it off. It’s always made fresh, never disappoints and one of my favorite meals after a long day at work.

Just ordered delivery thru GH. Food came super hot and steaming within 25 min. Ordered the boneless chicken kebab. It was the softest chicken I’ve had when it comes to Persian food. Rice was cooked perfectly and left me in a daze. Did I say how delicious the marination on that chicken was. Just perfect. They get a full 10⁄10 from me. Only small gripe I had was that I didn’t get the onion on the side that I usually see when I order Persian food. But nothing I didn’t have on my counter. Thanks again for such deliciousness

Stumbled upon this little gem while walking around, aimlessly and indecisive on what I wanted to eat. Had not had Persian food in quite awhile and I must say this has been one of the best I’ve been to! The restaurant is small and intimate-like setting. It was very quiet and only 2 others in the restaurant on a Sunday(around 5pm). Perfect for me as I did not want to be around so much noise or people at the time. My friend and I were told to sit anywhere we wanted by a nice lady(she seemed to be the owner). She brought us menus and said to take our time. Our order: –Lentil soup: I can’t even describe how great this soup was for me! The flavor was so perfect and was great for the cold and windy weather SD was having. It was like the soup of my dreams ^_^ –Hummus: flavor was great and just a good appetizer to have. –Chicken Kabob House Specialty: Comes with a good portion of chicken, basmati rice, and a grilled tomato. The chicken was cooked very well and the flavor was great. Was not dry at all. Rice and grilled tomato were perfect. Service: 5+ star service! The lady serving us was so kind and attentive. She was even kind enough to come bring me a small treat to try. It was crispy rice with a pomegranate paste on top(can’t remember what it’s called). It was SO delicious! I could eat it all day. She really made me feel as if I were a guest in her very own home! After dinner we enjoyed some tea. Perfect way to end our meal. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

One of the descent persian restaurant in SD. Been here couple of times and tried their beef, lamb, and chicken so far for main, as well as falludeh and bastani. Also tried dolmades. Chicken’s bit on the dry side compared to other restaurants but is still good and clean.

Came here last night for Halloween. I understand that it’s Halloween and every bar in Gaslamp District is charging a cover charge, but to charge my bf $ 20 because he didn’t have a costume? Are you STUPID? You just charged my friend, who’s a guy and DIDNOT have a costume $ 10, you SHADYIDIOT. Thankfully, my friend stood up for us and we ended up paying $ 10 cover charge for my bf. So dumb, he probably thought we were a different group and tried to gypsy us. NO, you failed. Overall, the music was ehhh but shots are pretty damn cheap. It’s a good place to pre-game and start your first bar hop in Gas Lamp, but definitely not worth the cover-fee.

Night Club Review: My friends and I usually come here on a Saturday night. It gets super crowded. They just started charging a cover on saturdays probably because everyone has migrated from analog to here and they feel the need to make some money off of us. Obviously if you know people, you will get in for free. I’ve notice that this club slowly more and more turn into an asian club lol not a great variety of races. The music is always on point if you like trap, hip hop, and rap music. The DJ sometimes play some songs over and over again. Also you aren’t allow to dance in the smoking area? WTH! This place is also really tiny and they only have one restroom. There’s always a line! This place gets really packed around 11 to 12 am and they don’t have AC, they just have fans blowing from the back end and front. Overall its a cool place to come chill and dance once in a while but wouldn’t be my go to place. But once again if I do come here, I am mostly coming because of the music and $ 5 henny shots hahaha: p

This is my first review. Normally I just read other people’s comments to decide if I should go somewhere. However, the food here was so incredibly fresh and flavorful that I had to write one myself. Our table of 6 unanimously agreed that this restaurant takes such pride in what they serve. From the various Kabobs to super moist Salmon, to hands down the best salad, hummus, dolmeh’s… This place had my tastebuds excited. Overall, we completed our meal with almost nothing left on our plates and walked out feeling contently full(not overly stuffed). We will definitely be coming back to this place as well as telling our friends to try this place out. Yum!

**THISREVIEWISREGARDINGTHECLUBTHEYTURNINTOATNIGHT I called just to clarify if they went by another name at night, but the girl on the phone said that they go by no other name. They keep it the same at night(which I feel should have a different name to filter reviews). Anyway, I have no idea what the hype is with the young people in this joint. I really felt like you had to be lit to even enjoy this place. It’s small and dingy– it’s the equivalent to turnin’ up and dancing in your living room. The music is good, but the dress code is way too chill. Some dudes look real busted and you wonder how security even let them in! Then you got the old-uncle-lookin’ guys who stand around and watch others get down– it’s just creepy. You’re unsure if they work there or if they pay the cover to just watch girls grind up on dudes. All aboard the hot mess express!
