Transferred my daughter to same program to another location at Allied Gardens to see if a different teacher would do better. This teacher is definitely better with kids and parents. She lets you watch 10 minutes before the class ends. Her version of pre-tap class is more align to the basics, no complicated steps and music. The class at Balboa Park was practicing with complex moves and to an inappropriate Pop music for this kids age, Dear Future Husband, for kindergarten girls! For crying out loud. How about a kids music? You can simply say there’s no standard for having the same program for two different locations from the same organization. Ages of kids also close to my daughter(3 – 5) unlike the one in Balboa Park which had big age gaps(3 – 6) where there’s a lot of returning kids who already knew how to dance and the teacher was more concerned about her class performing at recital rather than getting everyone catchup to learn tap and enjoy the dance itself. She even said it herself that she’s not there to babysit our children. Yes you are not but you are to teach them all whatever level they are at. She made my daughter sit through the whole class. Completely unacceptable. We’ve just barely convinced our daughter to keep going so we don’t waste money but she’s definitely not thrilled to be there from the impression from the first teacher. She likes the new teacher now but we’re probably not going to keep it going.

Very disappointed in quality of dancing and level of professionalism of teachers. In all of our interactions, the staff is all very rude and I am concerned about the safety of my children in their care. Would never recommend.
