Went there today… stood around what seemed like forever, waiting for service. I saw lots of SDME t-shirts, but zero help. There began a line behind me and the counter help acted oblivious. Finally I gave up. The drive there(and back) was a waste of time. I ended up ordering the part online. I obviously would have preferred to shop locally, but they didn’t care to provide any service. Very disappointing.(This wasn’t the first time I had bad service there).

Awesome selection! What a find of a store. Good product advice. This is the place the pros shop. They carry thousands of products plus thousands more in the catalogues of the companies they represent, neat place.

San Diego Marine Exchange
Grat place to find anything you can imagine for marine life. I have an account here because I used to dive and clean boat hulls and this is y far the most stocked, cheapest, most convenient place for a diver to buy his brushes, sand papers, pads, etc. Easy to get an account and it’ll save you bunch of money.

Marine Exchange has the cheapest prices and the best selection in town. This is for people who need to do real work on boats, not for picking up inflatables or dish sets like West Marine might sell. If you need to do real work, you’re doing your boat and your pocket book harm by not going to Marine Exchange.

SDMX has anything and everything you could ever need to fix, repair or maintain your boat. They have the biggest selection of parts anywhere in San Diego.
