I was going to another doctor, and I thought I needed another opinion. I was aggressively getting worse. I was losing hope. Dr. Nguyen is impressive. It already is very difficult to be a rheumatologist, they are the crème de la crème in doctors. And she is exceptional. I know that some autoimmune diseases are horrible – (can she really help) I know some people have to go through complete hell (and I’m not sure how much a rheumatologist can help if the disease has got so bad– even if they’re the best like Dr. Nguyen). If you’re not sure, and your diagnosis was bad (as was mine) you might want to have her do a second evaluation (if this is something that’s worthy of a second opinion for). I am so much better because I went to her– and had I stayed with my previous doctor.– well I can’t even tell you where I’d be (probably bedridden by now).

Dr. Nguyen is a treasure. She knows all there is to know about rheumatology and never hurries when u see her. I had an unspecified but annoying immune disorder and she stuck with it until I could manage it. Great doctor.
