San Diego Sailing Adventures

We had the most amazing day today on Captain Betsy’s sailboat! Hint hint! The sailing vessel Ali’iKai, isn’t anything but a gorgeous sailing yacht. My bff from high school and I were celebrating 40 years ago of sailing when we were kids and I was the brave one, and she was the timid one. The wind was whistling today! It was as hot as heck in all of So Cali and what a beautiful day we had on this sail boat! I never knew a sailboat could go almost on its side and the water and boat, sails and wind could be this amazing! We were never without all the comforts you could need. What a blast! I want to buy my kids a anniversary gift of sailing this November as a surprise and I want the amazing team of Captain Betsy and Bob to spoil them like they did us today. Thank you Betsy and Bob. You’re awesome and I hope to sail with you again soon! Tom and I loved every second!

Captain Betsy is besty! Not only did I enjoy sailing on her Tommy Bahama styled yacht, but I met so many new friends that were also onboard. I loved her knowledge of the sites of San Diego, her professionalism on the sea, and liked that she wanted to know about me. I got to know her so well that I am now one if her preferred caterers onboard! Betsy rocks.

Last week I went on a sailing trip with Betsy and her crew. She hosted a man who is very ill and gave him sailing lessons. It was so precious seeing the joy she brought to this man by just taking him and his beautiful wife out for the day. I even learned what tacking is. I would recommend her adventure trip any day. The boat is beautiful and in perfect condition. This is a must do if you are in san Diego!
