Run, don’t walk if you are referred to this awful Doctor. Have a herniated disc and after running a few basic tests(hitting my nerves with rubber hammer) he said well come back in 6 – 8 weeks. I said I’m at a 10 level pain and can’t even go to work, what is the waiting 6 – 8 weeks going to do… he’s response and I quote, «oh, well if you can’t work you can’t work» I said wow, you sure are cavalier about my pain snd not working and he looked astonished about me questioning him. I said I would like a neurosurgeon to look at me or at least get an MRI, like I was crying in pain on his table and I don’t ever see a Doctor. He was again mad and said why do you think you should see a Neurosurgeon? Would do you think that will do? I was like I literally have no feeling in my arm. Needless to say I got a MRI and referral but he was quite put out about it, charged me extra for a ASAP test. Neurosurgeon saw me and said yeah, we are scheduling you within the next two weeks for disc replacement as it was that bad. You only get 1 star because your nurse Bonnie was awesome… thanks for the tissues, BTW.

Dr. Riedler is a very thorough neurologist. I am a licensed and board certified acupuncturist, and when I have patients who are in need of a neurology referral, my first thought is to refer them to Dr. Riedler. He has excellent diagnostic skills and will listen to your concerns. I am quite surprised with the negative reviews; its possible that his direct bedside manner and to the point findings from his impeccable diagnostic skills may throw some people off… he is committed to getting to the root of the problem and perhaps in his fervor, his diagnostic skills can be misconstrued as lacking empathy? I assure you, he is an empathetic doctor, and he absolutely takes the time a patient feels is needed to answer any and all questions. How do I know this? Because I saw him personally as well for an assessment and evaluation.

He made me feel as I was making up my problems. I been suffering since April and 4 other doctors have told him that I need many test. He stopped me before leaving and said okay I see these doctors want to do the test. I am going to get the test done and go to another doctor. It’s time to retire!

I LOVE Sharp Healthcare. I’ve had nothing but great service and doctors who really care about me. That is, until I met Dr. Riedler. I still love Sharp Healthcare. Update for Dr. Reidler’s office response(1÷21÷2014): Ms. April, I do not intend to call you to go over my experience. I am a legitimate former patient of Dr. Reidler. I was misdiagnosed by him and treated with disrespect as a patient. #1 a good doctor should listen to the patient. #2 a good doctor should be able to admit that he doesn’t know something outside of his knowledge of a diagnosis. With that said, I’d rather pay out of pocket to see someone else and I did. Better care and symptoms have subsided tremendously.
