I walked in here yesterday without any appointment. Marisol was very generous with her time and was able to hook up my hair extensions right then and there! She did not try to up sell anything and was straight forward with what will work for my hair length.
The quality of hair is amazing and the price is unbeatable! You get quality hair with them and the final look is very natural.
My co workers can’t get over how good my hair look and a few of them are now considering hair extensions. Check them out, you’ll be very happy with the results.

I got tape in extensions here 2 months ago and they still look good on my head. The quality of the hair is really good and Marisol did an awesome job blending it with my own hair. I highly recommend this place for hair extensions.

I was so offended by this business I just had to leave some feedback for the owner. I have damaged my hair by bleaching it for years and decided that I would cut it off and start over. While I was waiting for it to grow out I was thinking of buying extensions or some fun wigs, so I approached this location with this in mind. As I walked into this location I had been texting a friend (phone facing the ground.) I took maybe 3 steps in and the woman from the desk immediately came over to me and rudely said «You can’t take pictures in here». I replied I was just texting a friend and asked if that was ok. The woman replied «Fine. Just don’t take any pictures». She did not ask me if she could help me, or ask what I was looking for she immediately snapped at me while I was still an arms length away from the front door. I was so startled by this antagonistic attitude towards me that I didn’t even look around, I turned around and walked out.
It angered me further once I logged into Unilocal and saw how many photos of wigs/​extensions that were featured, many of which were taken by customers. Now I realize that I look younger than I am due to my small stature and can only assume that the woman treated me this way because of how I looked and thought I wouldn’t spend money. Either way, they lost a customer because of her obvious prejudice.

Marisol has for the past 3 years been awesome at giving the best customer service, she is patient, she does an excellent job at matching hair color, ordering hair, etc. I called today to make sure Marisol was still working at this location. for I will not put my hair style in anyone else’s hands!

Beware of this place; bad quality hair, an extremely dirty-​unsanitary establishment, and only about 1 sales women speaks English.

Jessica is the best! Came in with lots of colors in my hair and she custom made my clip in extensions to match the highlights in my hair. Wide variety of hair types, colors, and lengths. Highly recommended!

Esther was great! Helped me find something in budget for Halloween that still looked really nice and not like it was from a Halloween store! Marisol cut the lace off the wig… great team!

Marisol was so helpful and their wig selection just blew me away!!! She was so helpful in helping me try on wigs and she was very honest and straight up in giving me answers. Thank you, Marisol, Esther, and Jessica! Marisol, I will definitely be back next big event or Halloween… Or just for fun!

I have not been here yet, but I previously called around to a few places and was treated very rudely by the owners/​stylists. The girl that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. She didn’t get impatient with me and explained everything in as much detail as she could without me coming in for a consult. I think she spent a good 20 minutes or more talking to me and was very nice and kind. I’m having someone else do my extensions, but we (me and the stylist) are going to go in here tomorrow after she dyes my hair to look for a match-​up.

The ladies at SD Beauty are awesome, I drive all the way down Escondido to San Diego to get to this little shop, I have gotten hair extensions from them before and the hair is awesome! I love that they make sure that they have your color and that they are able to perfectly match the hair extensions to your real hair. You can tell these ladies are really passionate about their work! I recommend them.

I have had extensions on and off since 2009. Usually I have to get my hair colored to match the extensions. Here, that is not the case. Jessica spent quiet a bit of time matching my recent belayage to get me the perfect extensions. They were ready the next day and I felt the price was great. She also put them on and did a blending job so they were ready to wear. If you are looking for quality, good price and great customer service, stop looking, this is the place.

Jessica literally color matched my custom extensions PERFECTLY. I have gotten so many compliments everytime I’ve worn my clip-​ins and they blend great so no one can even tell I’m wearing them. The prices are great as well, I’ve refrred all my friends and co-​workers who are so jealous and want to know my secret!

Had a great experience there buying a hairpiece. They take the time to show different options and make you feel welcome. I will definitely go back.

I have been looking for a good hairstylist for years and I finally found one. I’m actually hesitant to share her identity on Unilocal… b/​c truth is, she is a superhero. Okay, maybe not, but she definitely possesses magical powers to be able to tame my unruly mane.
Her name is Tiffany and she has now become my go-​to hair guru! I don’t know what I’d do without her! I was recommended to her by my cousin’s friend, and I am so happy I gave her a try last year! I’ve been back about three times since, and even brought my mother (who is also a happy customer)!
Sadly, I was never blessed with the sterotypical, frizz-​free, sleek & shiny «Asian» hair. My hair is thick, naturally curly, and always frizzy! I mean, seriously, how is this possible? I’m Chinese, for goodness’ sakes! Anyway, I’ve fallen victim to some salons in the past who took 15 minutes just to comb my hair by yanking a comb through it forcefully, talked waaaay too much, let my hair «air-​dry» (which is a no-​no for me sans any product), or almost burned my skin w/​the flat iron! As you can tell, I’ve definitely had my fair share of bad experiences, so I was not expecting a lot when I came here.
Tiffany is an angel sent from Hair Heaven, I tell you. Here are the reasons why I adore her:
1. She puts on a nice big robe on you that ties at the waist, making sure no water/​pieces of hair will end up in your shirt.
2. She is really considerate when it comes to the temp of the water when she washes your hair, and she doesn’t pull your hair. She’s gentle and massages the products in. The chair is comfy, and your neck doesn’t ache from the usual ill-​positioned sinks.
3. She is friendly & always happy to answer any questions you have. She doesn’t push any products onto you, or pressure you to make an appointment for the next cut or to do a special treatment. She listens to what you want to do with your hair and never judges you!
4. She wears a blinged out Hello Kitty apron! So legit.
For $ 45 ($ 40 for shorter hair), I got a shampoo, cut & blowdry/​style and I definitely recommend Tiffany, the Hair Goddess! My hair is shiny, soft, layered & really thinned out. She did a fantastic job of dealing with my thick tresses, which is quite the achievement. If it’s your first time, I suggest bringing a photo or two to show her the kind of style you want. My mother got a perm done around the holidays last year and usually, her hair doesn’t hold any curl, but because of Tiffany’s magic, my mother’s hair is still as curly as the first day she got it done, and that was over 2 months ago! They also sell a huge assortment of high quality wigs and extensions here as well, so that’s also a plus if that’s what you’re looking for!

I am a Korean american who grew up in San Diego. I’ve had digital perms, magic straights, Brazilian straights … short, long, curly, cleopatra straight, I’ve had it all. Sunny and her crew are by far the best and very well respected in the community. When I was last there, there was a client who drove 2 hours down from LA just to get a hair cut from them. I personally have moved away recently but I always try to hold out for a flight out to San Diego and spoiling at SD Beauty Lab.

I check out this place on wednesday. OMG! i was very happy with the quality and pricing of the extentions. So much, I was able to get them done the same day. Marisol help me pick out the right color and length. I was a very happy with the results… thank you marisol. see later
