SD Tailgates

Since my last review I was given the opportunity to revisit an event with SD Tailgates. I am very pleased to report that Jesse and the staff took to heart my review and made great strides to remedy the many issues experienced by the many fans who tailgated with them at their first event of the season. Although there was a smaller turn out at the picnic I attended, it was clear that things were much improved. Beer and food lines were better organized, the parking arrangement was better explained and the overall atmosphere was less chaotic. The only complaint I heard was regarding the one hot dog plate policy. Although this was perfectly fine with me, some of the guys in attendance seemed a little bummed that their food ticket only afforded them one hot dog, albeit a scoop of pasta and potato salad was included. Regardless, I was not disappointed and felt the event was worth the price of admission. Thanks to Jesse and his team for listening to my «yelp», but especially to Unilocal for posting my complaint and making all of this possible.

Terrible! Terrible!!!
We bought tickets to the ⁴⁄₁₉ game against the Giants. We arrived at the tailgate site exactly at 2:55pm. the tailgate party is supposed to start at 3pm. the line was about half a mile long and they hadn’t started admitting people!!! What are you thinking? the whole tailgate party is less than 2 hours! do you know long it will take to admit 300 people in??? we were admitted at approximately 4pm. then we had to deal with another half mile long line for the beer and the food! the worst experience in my life! never again will i purchase tickets from these guys. who puts one beer and food station for a party of 300 people??? very unorganized! very unprofessional! people at the gate were confused and taking way too long to admit people.

I have attended two SD Tailgate evens in the last month and had a blast. Amazing catered food, craft beer and games.

Sd tailgates knows how to run things. Great events, catering and good people. Especially Jesse Williams, he has been great in coordinating these events.

I can’t even start to tell you how much fun I had at the tailgate this past weekend. I want to thank the guys who put this together because my friend and I save a ton of money by getting the tailgate and ticket instead of at the stadium. The food and beer was perfect and the my friends and I had a blast. I think this is the only way to go to a game. Who wants to pay 9 bucks for a beer inside the stadium when they were included in price of the tailgate. I can’t wait for the next event because this is the only way to go. Stay Classy SD Tailgates.

Had a blast opening day this year with SD tailgates. It was such a good deal for the all you can drink and eat, let alone a great ticket to the sold out game as well. Definitely grab a few friends and play some of the games, or just grab a table and eat/​drink. Highly recommended!

SD Tailgate events have been my favorite way to pre-​party for the Padres games and San Diego college bowl games. I have now been to 4 events and each one gets better. The fact that their packages include all you can drink great local craft beer, great food and a good ticket to the game for cheap is pretty awesome. Every time I have attended an event I have had a blast. The fact that you can tailgate in true fashion and not worry about anything is the best part. Cant wait for the next one
