Never order applications from Sears! We ordered wall oven and they first didn’t call us, so I called. Found out they didn’t enter our information into the order. Then they reordered our Oder and told me delivery will be In 3 days. I then get a phone call from delivery saying that I’ll have to wait 40 day! They didn’t just mess up my order but also waisted my time! I canceled in the end. Maybe Home Depot will do a better job

I’d love to write a more positive review(especially since this I have fond memories of working at Sears when I was in high school and college! The offering in clothing hasn’t changed much in the last few decades– very classic, predictable styles that my grandmother would love. And a wide variety of appliances and hardware for the home. I came here because it’s one of the very few places I can do transactions for Land’s End(which is the brand I’m required to buy for my kids’s uniforms) The Land’s End experience on the phone has been very positive for the most part. But making returns isn’t always smooth. On this most recent occasion, I went on a weekday evening with several items that needed to be returned and had all my receipts. I stood in line at the only register which can process Land’s End transactions. I waited behind a middle-aged woman who did not seem to be aware of standard return procedures– she did not have all the receipts and she asked several times about differences in the total due to tax. My frustration lies in that there were two employees at the desk and neither one apologized for the delay or even acknowledged me. I waited a total of 20 min before being helped! In any case, you may find times that you need to shop here. It doesn’t have the glam of the rest of the stores at UTC, but that’s ok, it may have what you need.

Sears has the worst customer service ever! How are they still in business? We purchased a new dryer and were told that we’d have to wait 2 weeks to get it. Arrived damaged with delivery team that was clueless, wrong attachments etc. Rescheduled for another deliver on following Saturday. No call from them, we called and reached CSvc in India, we were told they would email the manager, again no call. I called again 30+ minutes on hold :-(…finally got a manager who was clueless again and had no idea if or when they could deliver… So I cancelled the order, but they could not process the refund over the phone, so I had to drive down there again, and again no one could help, and I had to force them to process the refund! Really shocking– We went and bought the exact same model from Loews for $ 120 less! And they delivered the next day on time!

How in the world is this place still in business?!? My attempt to purchase a new refrigerator has been a major ordeal that just now ended in an order cancellation. Hours of my time wasted. A day of work/pay lost. Maximum frustration on the phone with horrible customer service reps who must be located on the other side of the world or something. I tried to purchase this online and there was an offer of 12 months no interest if you use your Sears charge card. It would not work so I engaged a service rep in chat. He could not get it to work either and had no idea why and no suggestions on what I should do. So, I call Sears credit only to find out that they cancelled my card because I haven’t used it in a couple years. Well, good way to guarantee I will never use it again, huh? I tell him thanks and I’ll place the order on my own but he said he could do it to ‘make sure there were no errors’. I ask for a delivery date of Friday 10⁄23(which was available when I was placing my order) and he tells me it’s no longer available so we go with Monday and I arrange to take time off work. Earlier in the week I got a call which was a Sears recording confirming my delivery for tomorrow for a whole bunch of appliances but it was for a man who lived in TX. At this point I started to feel a bit apprehensive about the purchase but just let it go. Last night(Thursday) I get a call(recording) that my delivery is the next day between 5 – 7. Now, this would have been ideal if I would have been prepared but since my delivery wasn’t happening until Monday I thought I had the whole weekend. The biggest problem was that I now needed to worry about getting rid of the old one because I have a tiny condo. I had to call three different numbers and was told by two people that the best they could do was pick it up a different day. I was nearing the blow point and asked for a manager and she took care of it by calling delivery warehouse and it took about 5 minutes. So there’s another hour+ wasted on hold and being disconnected and transferred. Word of advice — don’t ever talk to those who answer the phone because they’re freaken clueless — just ask for a manager and save yourself time and frustration. So, today is Friday and my shiny new fridge is supposed to be here between 5 – 7. I took the day off and nearly killed myself moving everything and cleaning and buying ice only to get a call that the truck had issues and the delivery wasn’t happening today. I call and get this wishy-washy woman who is annoying the crap out of me and I told her to just cancel the order — I can’t take this anymore. She offers me a $ 75 gift card(like I’m ever going to shop at Sears again — NOTHANKS). I had to ask for the manager like 3 times and finally she puts me on hold for a while. After telling him this whole ordeal and how the only reason I bought from Sears was the 12 mo no interest and I didn’t get it anyway — he offers me $ 75. I tell him that I’m going to need a more significant discount that than to accept order and he offers $ 100. I tell him I’ll accept $ 150(which is what I now have to pay for interest on my Visa) and he said he could not do it and I told him«fine — cancel it». He tells me he will and I said thanks and hung up. He calls back to confirm my cancellation. Um… Really? I will never, ever buy anything from this place again. Not furniture, not appliances, not even clothes. No way.

I will never order any appliance from Sears again. I was told that I would receive delivery by 9 am, and it took them all day to get here. I also noticed that the shipping fee that I was charged was wrong. I got the impression that the didn’t care about installing my appliances properly. They just wanted to go.

First let me say I gave them only two stars because I ordered a fridge which was supposed to arrive new and it had several dings on it, and they refunded me a partial amount on the item. I appreciate that. HOWEVER: this Sears is totally incompetent. Every time I’ve spoken to a customer service agent on the phone, they can barley speak english. It honestly makes the conversation frustrating and difficult. Also, every time I try to process something on the phone, the store computer on their end is either down for maintenance or just not working. Really? You’re a business, you should be operational at least a percentage of the time.

My review here is based solely on my use of the online ordering with in store pick up. I live near this sears so it is super convenient. I have now done ten online orders with pick up at this location. They have designated parking, right outside the door… even better than handicap parking. Each time I put in my order, and a helpful staff member brings it out within five minutes. I always compliment them, which is amusing because they always get confused. I am sure they don’t get many happy people. I will continue to use this service as it is very easy and allows me to earn air travel by ordering online and picking up in store.

Sears is still trying to find their niche. They are always sending out promos and discounts but they can never get it to work right! This store has been around for years and is pretty huge with a wide selection of products for sale. I normally buy my Levi’s Jeans here but pretty much pass through it to get to the mall as parking is much easier on this side than the parking structure at Nordstroms. Prices are competitive but they just have way too much inventory that they end up having to make things down for pretty much free to make space for more things that they’ll do the same thing with. The staff are helpful if you can find someone but they are severely understaffed.

Sears is not what it used to be. Clothes are not as stylish as I would wish for adults. They so have great sales in kids clothes and shoes. I do back to school shopping there every year. As always nobody can beat them when it comes to tools. Always great prices. I love their point system. Earn cash credit for everything you buy. Another reason why I shop there
