Sephra Fountains

This is where I buy all my chocolate for my Sephra fondue fountain.
Chocolate:
Melting their chocolate in the especially made bags for the microwave is so easy and mess free. This is one of the reasons for my 5 star rating. If you don’t by their chocolate and use cheaper chocolate melts (Wilton’s), you will need a double boiler… which means more clean up for you. With their bags, you just put the whole thing in the microwave, heat, then pour into the fountain. Done.
Also the quality and taste of their chocolate is above and beyond. I always get asked what kind of chocolate I buy because its so decadent and yummy tasting. I buy the Belgium chocolate selection… the more pricier version, but totally worth the extra $$$.
Fountains:
I’ve used/​bought other brands of fountains before. But Sephra fountains are durable and the motor is the quietest. Sure it’s more expensive but it’s worth every penny to see everyone enjoy it, the chocolate flowing smoothly and easy clean up.

Sephra Fountains provided an AMAZING Nacho Cheese Fountain for tortilla chips at a Fiesta Dance I held. It was a huge hit! Everyone loved it, and the service provided was incredible! I hiiiiighly recommend this company to anyone hosting a party! Their fountains aren’t just for chocolate. How sweet is that? ;-)

********************UPDATE:***************************** I ordered a box of sephra milk chocolate back in February 2012 and the manufacture date on the chocolate is September 2011, the expiration date is September 2012 which gives me roughly 7 months to use all my chocolate. So I tried to use it two months before the expiration date. The chocolate didn’t melt properly, it wasn’t as smooth. I know I didn’t overheat it so I tried everything I could to remedy the problem. Shortening, paramount crystals, etc… When I talked to the customer rep, she said to add paramount crystals because the milk in the chocolate dries out overtime. I believe I shouldn’t have to add anything to their product when it’s not even expired.
Anyway, I called back again and spoke to Randy and he said that I shouldn’t have to add anything and hoped that no one in the company told me to do that, I told him a customer rep just told me previously to add paramount crystals to it.
He was willing to test it out for me to see if I received a ‘bad batch’. My friend who also ordered a box of chocolate the same time I did have the same problem and she told me that they replaced her ‘bad chocolate’ with new ones.
She lives near their business. Unfortunately for me, I have to drive 45 minutes down there to get it checked out but I don’t have the time to do it so I ended up throwing away 3 full bags of Sephra milk chocolate! never opened. =(
I don’t think I’ll be ordering again from Sephra. If I consider ordering in the future, I’ll order one bag at a time or ask my friend to pick it up from me when she have the time.
At first, I love their product due to consistency and the taste but the quality gradually declined and the chocolate was unusable but still edible.

I am a fan of their Belgian milk chocolate. I found out that the batch I received at the time were bad batch so it wasn’t melting properly. Too bad I didn’t have the time to return them to get exchanged and I ended up throwing away three bags. My friend got hers replaced.
As always, customer service is superb. I will start ordering again. I love the chocolate taste and no need to add paramount crystals, just as long as I get a non-​defective batch.

Superb customer service! I’m a first time customer and ordered online. I signed up for an account days before ordering but forgot to log on when I placed my order. I didn’t have any way of tracking it so I called their customer service.
Randy Barilla was very helpful, professional, courteous and very efficient with his work.
He provided me the information I needed and e-​mailed me an invoice seconds after hanging up the phone.
He also informed me that my order was shipped! I ordered it in the morning and they shipped it a few hours later.
I can’t wait to receive my package tomorrow or Monday.
Since I live in San Diego County, I expect it to be delivered tomorrow.=)

Sephra Melano Milk Chocolate– I find it the best tasting candy coating and texture is perfect. No need to add any paramount crystals. I do recommend this for cake pops and fondues, dipping fruits… etc.
Sephra Melano White Chocolate-​This one I find too thin for my liking. When I dip the cake balls, the white chocolate is so thin that I can still see the cake through it. I had to dip the cake balls twice to get a solid white coating results but it ends up being too thick. I wish they made the white chocolate a little thicker than the milk chocolate.
I would definitely order the Sephra Melano Milk Chocolate. Definitely a ‘no’ to white chocolate.
*Update:I played around with the white chocolate more. I found it perfect for drizzling cake pops since it is thin. Also, I learned a few tricks so I can work with it when it comes to dipping cake balls.
After I heat the chocolate, I let it cool longer than usual so when i dip the cake balls, the consistency is thicker. I learned that timing is everything. It can’t be too cool or too hot especially with the white chocolate thin consistency doesn’t need any paramount crystals at all.
I’ll be purchasing more white chocolate due to taste and drizzling. Although it’s harder to use it as a coating, I think it’s worth taking the time if you value taste. Which I DO!
The milk chocolate and white chocolate are the best tasting candy melts I’ve had in the market. I’m still searching for a better brand but so far haven’t found one that could beat it.

I’m having a fundraiser event at my home in a few weeks so I ordered a 19″ elite brushed stainless steel chocolate fountain to supplement other desserts I plan on serving at the event. I have a smaller unit that I purchased many years ago but the Sephra is much better quality.
When I received the product and had a chance to inspect, I realized they accidental shipped me a refurbished one instead of a brand new unit. When I called customer service, they were completely apologetic and immediately shipped another one to me next day. They even offered to have the CEO drive one over to my home if I needed it for the weekend since he apparently lived near me. I told him shipping it to me was fine and I received it the very next day. I even received a follow up call making sure I received everything ok and I was happy with the product.
I was very impressed with Sephra’s customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure I was ultimately pleased with my purchase and I really appreciated that. If you’re looking to purchase a quality chocolate fountain, check out Sephra. Their product is superior to what you’ll find in most retail chains out there and they’re local to San Diego.
