Very tiny Chinese joint. The 2 ladies working the front had some pretty bad customer service… There is pretty much 6 tables to sit at so if you’re waiting for your food you might as well stand outside or else you will literally be standing next to someone while they are eating. The food was okay so this place doesn’t deserve 1 star but no more than 2 in my book. I must have came in at the perfect time since the chef and waitress were arguing with each other loudly.

Great local Chinese restaurant. Good prices and tasty fresh food. We had the Mandarin for two, shared family style and a side of chow mein really good.

I always get the BBQ pork fried rice and the spicy orange chicken. Beyond delicious. True comfort food. The owners are so nice and when I pick up, food is always ready to go in 15 mins. Home cooked meal feeling for sure!

Ok place, not that good nor that bad. Just a place to get Chinese food if you’re in the neighborhood. Don’t expect much … Plus, there food taste is inconsistent every time you buy

The food here is not that great. I ordered the won ton noodle soup and it just didn’t taste right. The won tons had very little meat in them. The noodles tasted okay. The only reason why I would come here is if I needed to grab a quick meal and was craving Chinese food. I like that they have an outside seating area. It’s nice when you don’t want to be cooped up indoors.

Food is alright, a bit bland if you ask me. Then again as a college student who was craving cheap chinese/shanghai-nese food, this isn’t a horrible place. Very limited seating. My party ordered a family dinner that came with soup and two entrees I believe. Soup was good, not too salty and there was plenty of add ins. The rice served on the side should have been hotter. Service was friendly, or at least seemed so. Good pricing at least, that is portions are good for what you pay. Overall, not a horrible place if you’re craving chinese/shanghai-nese food.

Mixed review. Great food here! Horrible service. Inattentive, rude, and incredibly slow. Can hear the workers yelling at each other in the kitchen. If you’re going to eat here just order take out.

I will have to try another dish like their walnut shrimp or something. I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle soup for takeout. When I called she asked me «Hong Kong style or Regular style» and I asked«what’s the difference?». She said, «I don’t know, what do you usually order?» Haha. I have never been there so I didn’t have a preference. Anyway, the Hong Kong style has bok choy for veggies and the regular style is your usual snap peas, carrots and bamboo from what I can see in the pictures on here. The soup had no flavor and a lot of noodles. The wontons were good though. They tasted like chicharrones were in the wonton. Probably won’t order that again.

Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Don’t order the Sesame Chicken, it is very bland and absolutely no flavor. The chow mein is okay but not worth the high price. The prices online are not correct, everything is about $ 2 more in the restaurant. I spent $ 30 for two meals and I wish I just went to Panda Express. It’s cheaper and it tastes WAY better. I added on the $ 2.50 to make a meal and the fried wonton is literally a tiny piece of fried wrapper. I was expected it to be a cream cheese wonton or some sort of filling but it was nothing. I will never eat here again.

They use canned mushrooms!!! Might come back here to try other dishes, but would warn others against getting anything with mushrooms. Super disappointing and disrespectful to customers.

Ordered takeout. Ordered two meals with cashew chicken and Mongolian beef. Service was fine, not particularly fast or slow. The inside of the restaurant seems kind of small and dirty though, so not sure if I’ll ever actually dine in. That being said, they give a lot of food. One order was enough for two meals! Definitely super Americanized Chinese food though, so I wouldn’t go here if you were looking for authentic Chinese food. But, if you’re willing to accept that it won’t be authentic, it’s actually pretty tasty.

We got it to go. It took a little longer than expected and was pretty mediocre. Tasted like Panda Express heated up.

Small mom and pop business that fills a niche in UTC area. Would I seek this out for authentic Chinese food? No. But, local place with good food in a quiet, small and simple restaurant setting. The food seems fresh enough and isn’t too heavily sauced or salted. Yes, it is a little oily, but not more oily than other Chinese places(when you’re ordering a stir-fried dish…) The price isn’t bad either, for this area. The last time I was there I had the fish fillet with vegetables, snap peas and mushrooms, kung pao chicken, and eggplant with pork. I found each dish to be enjoyable. I thought the balance between meat and vegetables, where relevant, was right. The dishes had nice flavor. The white rice was a little mushy, that could use improvement.

Bad service! This worst dish is Fried Pork Chop with spicy salt, it’s not good at all! Also, slow service & long wait till food arrives! Wouldn’t recommend

We initially wanted TapEx, but came across this place bc the bambinos were in the mood for soup. Boy, was it a big mistake. It truly is a café with respect to size. You could probably seat 6 – 7 parties of 2 or 4. Our server was incredibly rude. We had to ask for water and she gave us a look like it was an inconvenience. And even then, she didn’t give us enough. We also did not have any utensils. The food was ok, nothing to scream about. The couple times I needed something, I had to go up to the counter to ask for it. Each time, she gave me attitude. When I asked for her name, she hesitated and said a name(which Idk remember) then when I went up to paid, the other lady helped me. I asked her if the other one was the owner. She smiled and said that she was then I told her that our server had a bad attitude and she agreed. They must be related to her if she allows that poor customer service in her establishment. It’s too bad bc the owner was nice and friendly. I do not plan to patronize this business in the future.

My grandma is looking for a new Chinese restaurant to eat at regularly since her favorite closed. We happened to be near by so we decided to try this one. We got wor won ton soup, potstickers, double happiness and a special eggplant and chicken in a clay pot. I thought the soup was mediocre. It just didn’t taste the same and was lacking flavor. The one thing I liked in the soup was the pieces of pork. The potstickers are a complete different story they where really good some of the best I’ve ever had. I again had the same problem with the double happiness it wasn’t bland but I thought it was just ok. For the eggplant and chicken I really liked the chicken and I thought the eggplant was tolerable(to note I’m not a big fan of eggplant). When going to the bathroom I noticed on the way it wasn’t as clean as it could be and they keep all there storage stuff in the bathroom. So this place was hard for me to rate it had food I really enjoyed and food I did not. So I was stuck between three and four stars because i did enjoy the potstickers and the chicken and eggplant. Is it fair of me to rate this place four stars when I’ve give other restaurants the same when I liked but not loved everything? You may laugh but what tipped the scale was the old tasting fortune cookie. Something that I would almost normally ignore in rating made up my mind. To sum up my grandma is still looking but I would definitely come back for the potstickers.

A solid B — not the most authentic place — very Americanized, which fits the area. If you want true authentic Chinese — hit anywhere on Convoy, but if you want something MUCH better than Panda Express or Pick-Up Stix — this is it! As the wise and glorious Chun P. has said — that authentic wok flame taste when you order the low mein, or their dumplings. I like their beef entrees, but not sure if they use MSG. Very friendly service and definitely a family run business. Reasonable prices for the area.

This small spot is located in a strip mall close to campus. My dad went to eat lunch here and I went to meet him there later on. He couldn’t stop talking about the wonton soup… so he ordered one while I was there. I typically don’t ever order wonton soup from restaurants… my dad doesn’t either. I guess he just happened to crave it that day? Anyhoo, the wonton soup was tasty. It came with at least 10 wontons… tons of veggies… served piping hot. My only complaint? It was super oily… like filmy oily. I looked around and saw rice plates other people ordered. What humongous portion sizes and cheap prices! The owner said they got the busiest during lunchtime. If you’re looking for some quick, cheap Chinese food to fill up a college student’s belly… this is the place.

This place is fine. You need some quick chinese in the UTC area, this will do. When ordering, ask for«no msg» A few dishes I’ve gotten here to go that are decent: Lo mein(even though it looks pale when you get it) Orange Chicken Chicken and eggplant They give plenty of white rice and fortune cookies Enjoy!

«To the ruler, the people are heaven; to the people, food is heaven.» (ancient Chinese proverb) After I long day at work I often bike here for dinner. The owner is very nice and remembers me from my many visits. The service is excellent and they will make stuff for you that is not on the menu. I usually order bbq pork pan fried noodles which is not on the menu. There is a delicious aroma and flavor imparted from the wok which I can’t get from my own cooking. I love the mix of flavors from the sauce, egg noodles, bbq pork, and veggies especially the mushrooms. The bbq pork is excellent here which is why my other go to dish is the bbq pork fried rice. Fried chicken wings. Good crunchy battered goodness and nice juicy chicken. The price is similar to Golden Chopsticks. On the minus side the Golden Chopsticks wings have better flavor and you get more of them. Hong Kong style won ton noodle soup. Delicious pork and shrimp won tons with tasty egg noodles. Very similar to Sam Woo’s won ton soup. Like the Sam Woo version a bit better.
