Wish I could give a minus five to this place !!! I heard from friends about this place and thought of trying it out. We reached at around 8:45 and the person inside had locked the door already. He was very rude and said we close at 9. May be they work according Eastern Time!!! Seems like the employs were in a hurry to leave. Pretty disappointed even before entering the restaurant!!!

I’ve been pretty lucky to never have to wait when I come here. But it does get busy fast. I usually order their drunken noodles, pad Thai, crying tiger, egg rolls and papaya salad. I like things medium so I usually order everything at a 6. Portions are a decent size to share between two. Food comes out pretty fast too. I love their food here but the service here just needs a little bit of help. Sometimes they take too long to greet the table, makes it seem like you don’t even exist. When you ask for something it takes a while for you to receive it. & Don’t even get me started about the water.

Spicy rice noodles in all their forms are one of my absolute favorite foods. It’s hard to go wrong with them, but both the«spicy noodles» and the drunken noodles were less than delicious. The two dishes were nearly identical and almost completely devoid of flavor. The pad see eu wasn’t much better, but at least it was identifiable as a different dish. On the plus side, the curry was excellent, rich and deeply flavored. I enjoyed it fresh and the leftovers the next day were just as good. It was enough to make me consider coming back, despite the terrible noodles. I should also note the thoughtful packaging on their takeout orders. I got spring rolls to go, and the carton had divets punched out of the top so that the steam wouldn’t be trapped inside the box. And it worked! The rolls stayed amazingly crispy. I would be willing to return and give this place another try, but I’m certainly in no rush to do so.

The Thai food here is pretty good. I always get Pad Thai as that is my favorite dish, but their does lack some flavor compared to other places I’ve been. I have also had their Tom Kah which is pretty good but has a little too much lime for my taste. The egg rolls are very good and fried perfectly. The sauce served with them is good as well. Their Panang curry is full of flavor as is the green curry too. I have never had a bad experience with my order or the service although we usually do take out. I really appreciate the fact someone poked holes on top of the box my egg rolls were in. This made it so they were not soggy by the time I get home. If you want to try this restaurant be sure to check out Groupon. They have had a deal on there for over a year.

Came here last Saturday. We had a groupon for $ 60. My group and I ordered able $ 60 worth of food and we usually order the same thing. When it our food came out, everything was okay. I mean I used to love this place but now the food isn’t that great. I mean the spicy fried rice I got wasn’t even spicy. I asked for a 5 and it didn’t taste like it had any spice to it. We also got the yellow curry, soup and pad Thai. It tasted bland and wasn’t appetizing. I’m kind of glad we got the groupon and didn’t actually spend $ 60 on the food. It was disappointing. Even the servers here are super awkward. When we asked a question or ask for more water or if they had forgotten something. they would look at us in a weird way. I don’t know about this place anymore. I’ll probably not come back here. Did they change ownership or something?

My friend and I bought a groupon that allowed us like $ 40 worth of take out food. Anyway, We ordered the wings and i think we could have done without it. Their BBQ chicken is pretty good and a decent size in portions. I’m actually disappointed in the pad thai to be honest. I usually gauge a Thai place on their pad thai recipe because it’s like the staple and yet they didn’t do well or we got a bad batch. It was like nothing but noodles and barely any sprouts or any crush peanuts. I was just so disappointed in it. It was actually kinda plain to be honest despite the fact we got spicy number like 5 or so. I find their green curry is pretty solid just that again portion is hit or miss. Tom Yum soup was good at least and in regards to the ingredients included it was ‘fairly’ okay. At least the service was nice at the front desk when we indicated we were doing a Groupon to go order.

My co-workers and I love eating here for lunch. Their lunch specials are so, so good and so, so worth it! In addition to your entrée, you get a side of salad, and an eggroll/fried wonton — all for an affordable price. My favorite dish is their panang curry. If I was being honest, I would probably take a bullet for a bite of it. They offer a variety of different proteins you can have with it, but I like going with chicken. You can never go wrong with that! My co-workers usually get the basil eggplant or the pad thai, all of which I’ve had bites of and all of which are really, really good. I can’t speak too much for the fried rice or the other noodle dishes, but if you stick to the classics(curry and pad thai), you’re guaranteed to have a great experience. While the interior is beautiful and everything is clean and organized, the service here isn’t the best. The food usually takes a while to get out and the staff(while nice!) aren’t always the most attentive or interested in checking up on you. It’s made even worse when you go during lunch rush. Yikes! Despite all of that, this is still my one stop shop when I get an itchin’ for Thai food!

Very good food for a decent price point! AMBIANCE The seating area is very clean, spacious and well lit. Décor is modern meets traditional Thai. There are plenty of chairs by the front door because I guess the wait can get long. The only thing I didn’t like was the single bathroom because it seems like an awfully big restaurant to not have stalls. FOOD Drunken Noodle: You get your pick of meat, fish or veggie. Pretty standard noodles. Good, but nothing special. Tom Kah Soup: Yummy! The balance of flavors is perfect and the amount was just enough for 3 – 4 people to share. Chicken Skewers: Good balance of firm chicken and juiciness. The peanut dipping sauce was delicious! I would get this again. Fish Curry: Very yummy! I was surprised when this came out as a soup since I’m used to Japanese curry. The flavor was very good and didn’t even taste like what you would think of as curry. Recommend! FBI: These are just bananas fried in egg roll wrappers, drizzled with honey, and served with some vanilla ice cream. It’s not amazing, but I would get it again. SERVICE The food comes out quick! And they are attentive to what should come out first and what should come out later. Our server was initially attentive, but didn’t come around as much near the end of our meal. I think it’s because the restaurant started to fill up though. OVERALL The food is definitely 4 stars, the service is 3 stars. The price is what you would expect at a restaurant like this, not terribly expensive but there are cheaper options elsewhere. All in all, I would come here again if I were craving Thai food in Mira Mesa.

Wow, I’ve been here a few times already but apparently have never remembered to review? This place is definitely a nice addition to the Mira Mesa scene. Really nice inside and they work quickly to seat you even when it’s busy. Staff are friendly and efficient, they take your orders quickly, bring them out quickly, and clear your table and bring you your check quickly. They seem to have a good«assembly line» style of service here, which makes things work smoother. The food… my go-tos are the Rainbow Shrimp and the Boat Noodles(they only have them according to the season; a great alternative to Vietnamese Phở). They don’t use liver in it here, which I actually prefer. The chicken grapow was also pretty good and was a good portion. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken satay appetizer though… the sauce was a bit bland. Oh and they seem to have decent wine offerings, from what I see along the walls, etc. Though I’ve never tried myself. Parking can be hard to find at times.

Come during lunch time to get the best bang for your buck! Weekdays from 11a-3p. Nicely decorated restaurant with great customer service! Lunch specials are served with: House Salad — Delicious sauce. Vegetarian Pot Sticker — Yum & crispy! Vegetarian Soup of the Day(Dine in only) — Served room temperature… They are generous with their servings! Panang Curry = Panang chili paste in coconut milk with bell peppers — Tofu $ 5.99 — My favorite curry here! Delicious & creamy! Pad Thai Noodles — Shrimp $ 9.99 — If you want extra eggs & peanuts, it will cost you extra. Flavorful! FBI = 6 crispy fried bananas drizzled with honey & sesame seeds, scope of vanilla ice cream — $ 6.99 — A must order! This is so good! If you are Filipino, the fried bananas are Turon! Pay the extra $ 2 for coconut ice cream, you will not regret it. I used my Scripps Passport & you get a 20% discount but have to pay 18% gratuity. Not really much of a discount.
