Silky Nails

Rude rude rude.
My review is based on a phone call and their lack of customer service. I called to inquire about their pricing and if they were able to take me for an appointment. I asked if they were busy at the moment, and after a 5 second pause, all I received for a reply was «YEAH.» I hate places like this.

I love these ladies.
I’ve been getting acrylics here since I moved to SD 4 months ago and they always last the two weeks without any cracks or separation or anything. I’ve been to salons in San Diego almost twice as expensive and 3 days after I walked out, my acrylics were broken, chipped off, separated from my real nail, etc.
These ladies work hard, do a great job and charge next to nothing.
My boyfriend gets his eyebrows waxed here as well and they do a GREAT job.

First time hitting up a nail salon in San Diego! Went here on a whim after eating at this Mexican restaurant in the same lot. My hubby and I walked right in – no wait whatsoever. Never gotten a pedicure before and this was my second manicure and I think everything went smoothly. My hubby got his first pedicure too and the total of everything was around $ 63. The ladies in there were real friendly and I’m a satisfied customer.

I have never been so offended and disgusted at a salon. The lady was ripping off press ons and the facility was dirty. After she wouldn’t let go of my hands I ripped it away a 2^nd time stating again how she was hurting me and my nails showed serious damage. This salon is a joke I would never go there. I would love to know how they are even still in buisness

I made appointments for myself and my mom to get a pedicure together. We arrived 10 minutes early, there was a customer in one of the two spa stations. First of all, the place is dismal and very, very small. It doesn’t feel relaxing at all. There are only two spa pedicure stations and one manicure station. They told us to pick out a color, which we did. The girl vacated the one spa spot and they proceeded to fill up the tub for one station. I had my mom go ahead. The other lady started helping the girl from the spa station adding gel nails. There were only two ladies working. I asked what is going on, as we had an appointment, she just looked at me and mumbled. After the gal that had the gels put on was finished, the manicure lady started adding gel to her friend. I will never come back here, the lady adding the gel polish was rude, the place is horrible, dirty and so small. The spa chairs don’t work right, they are really rough and beat you up. I have no idea why they have 5 stars.

Have been coming here for 15 years. They are really good & very well priced. Have tried others but Ann & Lisa are the BEST!!!

Fast service with really nice and friendly nail lady. Everything looked clean. Nails look like they should. Can’t complain!

I needed to get my nails done last minute before work. I wanted a nail shop close to my work that does a good quality work. I saw some of the reviews on this shop and the amount of stars it was given. Don’t judge the shop by the way that it looks because the lady who did my French gel manicure, did a fabulous job. Not so good on the hand massage but I didn’t mind because I was in a rush to get to work.

Went here last week to get my nails done for a wedding, and I absolutely loved it. The prices were very reasonable, the place was clean, the staff was friendly. And most importantly, they did a great job on my nails! I’ll definitely plan on going back.

Moved to the area a couple months ago from LA. I found this place on Unilocal and have been super happy with it.
I get acrylic nails and like them to be thin, not fat and chunky. She does them perfect and you really can’t beat the price.
I posted pictures of some of the different designs I’ve had them do. So far, I’ve loved how they’ve turned out.

A great local neighborhood location. Been coming here well over 15 years… and keep coming. Plain and simple, I don’t need to go elsewhere.

I have been coming to this place for many years & have brought many friends. They take real good care of me & always do anything I ask. Their prices are amazing and cheap. Its hard to find a place w/​such good prices & work. I always love how my nails come out. They offer regular pedicure & spa pedicure. Walk-​ins & appointments!

Ive been coming here for awhile now and i love it!!! i get gel and it lasts me up to 3 weeks without looking tacky. This is a little hole in the wall spot but they do a great job and you cant beat the prices!!!

I have been a customer for 12+ years. At first, this was my fall back location for nails because it’s close to home, but after the gas price blowup a few years back it became my primary nail destination.
I’m really happy with the work the owner, Anh, does. Nice ladies all around andthe best prices in Clairemont! The only set-​back is that typically only Anh is available to do nails, so you either have to make an appointment or time it just right.
They also do pedicures (regular and spa chair), and waxing of all kind. Prices are very reasonable in the $ 5-​$ 8 range for waxing. Nail fills are $ 13-​$ 15. Spa pedicure is $ 18.
