I was a little reluctant to come… had Snooze once before & was not thrilled. I had the regular eggs Benedict w/the hash browns, it was ok 2 star. Today I shared the Blueberry Danish Pancakes & Bella Bella eggs Benedict. They were both excellent! The hash-browns were just ok not as good as potatoes at Mission Café or Fig Tree truffle oil potatoes. My friend said the Michelada was fantastic!

Amazing food! Love getting the pancakes and Chilaquiles Benedict! Make sure to get your hash browns extra crispy. :) On the weekends make sure to get here early, otherwise the wait time is super long. Wish the service was better, would come in more if it didn’t take so long to order drinks and food.

Has great breakfast choices for anyone wanting to try some American brunch options. Didn’t have to wait too long for a table and the staff were super nice! If you want something involving poached eggs and hash browns, try this place out

There are a few things you have to do if you are a San Diegean! One of those things is getting brunch with a great group of friends! We came here on a Saturday morning, roughly before the initial bunch rush ~around 10am. What’s cool about Snooze is that it’s located in a shopping plaza filled with stores like Tilly’s, so you can do some shopping to kill time! Snooze will text you when you’re table is almost ready, so make sure take advantage of that! Also, they serve FREE coffee! Things I’ve ordered: Breakfast Pot Pie – The pot pie is filled with a rosemary sausage gravy in a flaky puff pastry shell. I decided to get the sunny side up egg for that yolk game and you get a side of hash browns and toast! I was really happy with how this dish came out. The filling is creamy and rich. The sausages add a nice kick of spice and the pastry dough gives it a nice crunch. Make sure you pop the yolk and let it run all over the filling for the perfect bite! Corned Beef Hash – The corned beef hash was also unbelievably delicious! Their corned beef was super tender, but it still retained its texture still! It’s mixed in with hash browns and crisped up to this golden brown deliciousness for that awesome texture! I would recommend ordering this sunny side up eggs so you can dip the corned beef into that yolk! Snooze is definitely one of my favorite brunch places in San Diego. If you haven’t been to Snooze, you must go! I’ll be back again soon!

Can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place yet. My absolute favorite breakfast stop ever. Yes, it’s going to be a long wait, and yes it will be totally worth it! The O.M.G french toast literally makes you say«omg!» as you’re eating it. The name is really fitting! Lol. And to top it all off, this place isn’t very expensive for what you get at all. I prefer this location over the hillcrest one just because of the parking situation. But the food is the same at both :) GO! Just go to snooze. Can’t wait to visit again

Long wait times on the weekends, but their pancake flights and creative Eggs Benedict are so worth it! I haven’t had a bad Benedict, or Bennie, at Snooze. My favorites are the Chilaquiles and the smoked salmon ones. Pancake flights are a must for sharing amongst the table. My favorite is the strawberry pancake and on the decadent side, the pineapple upside down cake flavor. These pancakes are practically dessert, they’re not even trying to masquerade as a breakfast dish. I don’t particularly like their breakfast sandwiches but I’ve been told that their breakfast pot pie and the corned beef hash are delicious. Service is always friendly, the servers try to be as fast as possible with your order and the décor is trendy and cute. You really can’t go wrong with a place that serves free coffee and board games in the waiting area.

Best brunch pit stop in San Diego! I come here often with my boyfriend before I leave San Diego and the location is perfect. I like it more than the Hillcrest location because parking is plentiful and free, and it’s also right off the freeway. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for a table here; it never gets that crowded and if you come early, it’s bound to be empty. All of their pancakes are delicious and the french toast is the best I’ve ever had. It kinda tastes like Chinese dim sum egg tarts, so I love it! Their Benedicts are also really good. Don’t forget to get a free cup of coffee from the coffee station while you’re waiting for your table.

I love this place. Probably top 3 places for breakfast in my life! That’s how high I rate this. No reservations, first come first serve. Will be ridiculously crowded so we put our names down on the list, ran some errands, and came back when we were texted our table was almost ready. I ordered the classic egg’s Benedict. It comes with hash browns which are softer and a tube shape. I always order my hash browns extra crispy and it’ll come smashed and perfectly crispy. Yum yum. The eggs were perfect and the yolk was perfectly runny. Absolutely delicious. I sampled my friend’s breakfast burrito(so late two of them shared and couldn’t finish) and my other friend’s breakfast pot pie. Pot pie was Rosemary sausage gravy on flaky dough with an egg on top. Everything was delicious and service was nice.

After a vigorous hike up Potato Chip Rock, the only thing you’re thinking about is: 1) I’m so dirty and dusty, and 2) I’m famished. We listened to our stomachs and set off to find this place that I Unilocaled which yielded a positive rating and is known for their awesome breakfast/brunch options… and we were NOT disappointed. We probably had more trouble finding the actual location of this place more than anything in the big confusing plaza but we eventually found it located next to the AT&T cell phone store in the corner of a shopping plaza. We found parking quite easily in the parking lot and then we noticed a huge line of people already waiting to eat breakfast/brunch like we were. I quickly checked in and was seated promptly within the next 15 – 20 minutes. Since we had a party of 7 people in our group, we noticed that there didn’t seem to be big enough tables for large parties. We first were seated in the first available booth seats near the restrooms but we felt that it would be a tight fit since the booths only looked like it fit 6 comfortably; hence we asked to be moved to a larger table and they were able to quickly arrange that for us. After we scanned the menu, we quickly ordered our food and then as the food became ready, we got our food all around the same time. Everyone agreed that the food was pretty good and that it was filling for the generous portion size that it came in. We ordered: — Hams Benedict III — Corned Beef Hash — Snooze Spuds Deluxe — Bella! Bella! Bunny — Pancakes, French Toasts, etc. Everything was pretty good and whether it be our gnawing appetite or not, each dish was polished off with no leftovers to take home!

Yum! This place is delicious, and I see why the line is always ridiculously long. The place is pretty small, but the ambience is nice. We came here on a Sunday at 10am and the wait was 1 hour so we went around then came back . The portions are pretty big! I split a breakfast burrito and was stuffed by just half. We ordered the veggie burrito with avocado, but the waitress forgot the avocado so she gave us more on the house! Our waitress was super nice(I wish I remembered her name), but she was helpful and was there whenever we needed a refill. The service was relatively fast too! The place is pretty loud, but I was with some loud friends so we didn’t feel out of place! I also love how this place sends a text when our table is ready, its so convenient because you don’t have to worry about missing your spot. Only thing is this place doesn’t take reservations, but honestly very few brunch places do. Will definitely come here next time I’m in San Diego, and recommend it to anyone in that area!

All of my friends that live in SD have raved about Snooze, so you can imagine my excitement when I finally got to try it out. And Snooze did not disappoint! We got there at 10am on a Friday and only had to wait around 15 minutes for a table. It definitely got more crowded as time went by, so I suggest waking up early if you wanna brunch without too much of a wait. I love that they have some games outside and free coffee to drink while you wait. I got the benny duo(with the Benny Goodman and Bella! Bella! Benny) and a chai latte. A good option for those craving something savory. It came with a mound of hash browns that were yummy and flavorful. Both benedicts were really really good, and I’m glad I didn’t have to choose just one. The Benny Goodman was just like a lox bagel with a poached egg on top, soo yummy. The Belly! Belly! Benny was super delicious as well with prosciutto, arugula, balsamic glaze, and poached egg on top of a piece of toast. I like that they give you the option to have some variety through the benny duo, pancake flight, and half orders. It’s always a struggle for me to choose just one entrée when everything looks so good! My friend ordered the pineapple upside down pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs. I ate half of a pancake and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for a pancake flight next time! :)

I love finding brunch spots with a full bar! Especially when open early on weekdays. The Huevos Rancheros with a Bloody Mary was just fine, parking & people watching were fine too. It’s just that this place is LOUD. Both indoors and out, the music, the acoustics, etc. Difficult for me to truly enjoy.

This restaurant was alright. Came early morning around 9 with some friends. There was only about 5 – 10 minutes wait and we were sat in one of the round tables in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant looked very nice with open windows and cushioned booths. Although the round table was a little snug for the 6 of us. I had the Tex-Mex breakfast burrito. When the plate came I was like holy cow that is a giant burrito. It was bigger than my arm. However, when I started eating it, it was filled mostly with beans… ugh…not the typical breakfast burrito that’s filled with eggs, bacon, cheese, sausage, you know all that amazing tasty stuff! I cannot recall whether I read the menu or not but I thought it would be tasty, but it wasn’t. I ended up only each about half of it and left the other half. However, my friend enjoyed their dishes so just heads-up on the burrito.

Love at first Snooze! Had the Lower East Sider(lox style salmon, herbed goat cheese spread, sun dried tomato and caper relish, hard boiled egg, dressed salad, rustic bread), which hit the spot nicely. So happy that I was able to get this relatively lighter option from the«light as a feather» section of their menu. It’s a great option for someone who wants something more savory for breakfast. The décor reminds me of a futuristic space ship. Fun and quirky! I visited on a Friday morning at 8am and was seated immediately. Not having a long wait was a super nice surprise. I recommend Snooze. It lives up to the glowing Unilocal reviews. :)

Expect a wait when you come here. Not too bad of a wait, but last time I waited 30 min for a table of 4. My favorites are the ham Benny, green eggs and ham sandwich and pancakes. Don’t forget to ask what their pancake of the day is ! I wouldn’t recommend their bloody Mary’s. Came out super watery and barely had and spice. I had to add Tabasco myself. Overall service here was wonderful. The food came out in a timely manner. Our server kept giving refills on coffee and water. She was also very sweet and gave us time with the menu.

For my birthday brunch, my boyfriend and I decided to stop by Snooze. We waited until 1PM and avoided most of the Sunday morning crowd but still had a 20 minutes wait. No worries! We used the time to pick up a few items from the grocery store while we waited for the text to say the table was ready. I had a hard time deciding between the OMG French Toast, which if you read my previous reviews, you’ll see that I’m obsessed with, and the pancake of the day, which was a smores-inspired creation. The waitress informed me that I could do a half and half order, which is an amazing option that gave me the best of both worlds. The Smores pancake had chocolate chips inside and was topped with a marshmallow crème. I think there was graham cracker in the batter but I couldn’t taste it. But the pancake overall was great! I noticed that the candy apple pancakes that I raved about in my last review wasn’t on the menu anymore and I hope that they make a comeback.

After being envious by seeing numerous Instagram check-ins here, I finally decided to check out Snooze for brunch. I have been here twice and ordered the Snooze Spuds Deluxe both times –add pico de gallo, cilantro, and avocado! Don’t be fooled by the crowd, Snooze sends you a text alert when your table is ready and they even give you free coffee to enjoy while you wait. I have never waited more than 15 minutes! Friendly service and this plaza in Del Mar is literally the cutest. Fabulous boutiques to check out after dining with girlfriends!

Came here on a Saturday and managed(somehow) to beat the crowd, probably because we didn’t hit the snooze button – hah! My overwhelming hilarity aside, this place has a very cool atmosphere-kind of space-age/jetson-y, which was fun. It’s not too big of a restaurant but it’s nice– you don’t feel like you’re sitting right on top of your dining neighbor. Between the four of us we ordered the Sandwich I Am, a pancake flight, Chilaquiles benedict, and OMG french toast: Sandwich I am– super delicious, the pretzel bun is a fun touch. A bit greasy, but let’s be real, when is a sausage patty going to be grease-free? Great flavor though– if it wasn’t for the fact that I didn’t order it myself I would’ve eaten the whole thing. Pancake flight– normal/sweet potato/peanut butter. I asked for the sweet potato pancake to be served plain(it normally comes with caramel and candied pecans, which I felt may be a bit too wild for so early), and got indulgent with the peanut butter. All three were great, but definitely a sweet start to the day, even with everything being served plain. Chilaquiles benedict– not served like your average chilaquiles, but the barbacoa had a good flavor and it was a fun interpretation of an otherwise average dish OMG french toast– tasty, but diabetes in a dish. For someone who doesn’t eat too much sugar, it was a bit of a head rush. If you love sweet breakfast, order this immediately. Our waiter was super friendly, very quick, and responsive to our requests. Our food was hot and the coffee was flavorful, so I really can’t complain. Love Snooze!

I had heard many things about this place and had previously tried to dine here, only to be greeted with a 1.5−2 hour wait for breakfast. Ridiculous! Decided to come here on a Monday at 8:45am and was seated right away! Upon leaving the restaurant around 10:30am however, the line was absolutely ridiculous so definitely show up EARLY if you don’t want to wait hours for breakfast. I had lots of high expectations for this place because of the crowd. However, it is REALLYLOUD inside which I never like so that was a minus. My vanilla latte was delicious, but my friend’s dirty chai was WAY too strong of ginger and not good. The French Toast Neat with strawberries was only okay, and I didn’t think you could really do french toast wrong. But here it didn’t taste as good and there weren’t enough strawberries. My friend’s tofu scramble was only okay too. Service was just fine but I wish our food tasted a lot better. However I’m sure their other options must be better because of the demand for this place.

Corn Beef Hash(CBH)… delicious! The hash browns shaped into a cylinder brought me in, but the description of the CBH and the waiter’s recommendation caused me to make an alteration. The CBH had a great consistency and a salty/briny(but really good) flavor, and also came with eggs, and toast. I’ve got to come back again for the hash browns. Almost forgot… they have homemade jam made locally in SD. The Raspberry Jam was tasty, but a bit runny(i.e., not thick). If you come solo or with another person, I recommend sitting at the bar. There may be no wait, there are TV’s with subtitles, and customers can access WiFi. Update: Had the three egg scramble with ham, cheese, and tomato for breakfast with the cylindrical hash browns, and neither was very good. The ham and tomatoes should have been cooked a bit before putting them into a scramble, and the eggs were mushy. The hash browns had a cool, unique shape and pretty decent consistency, but the flavoring wasn’t pleasing to the palate. The peach jam for the toast was good, like the raspberry before! The heat lamps were a plus and warmed me up while eating on the cool-ish deck.
