Had coffee here with the wife. Was good, had the peanut butter latte. The coffee was the perfect temp, not too hot not too cold. The water was perfect as well, it was cool and not too cold.

Came here while in San Diego for the weekend… Twice! Right down the street from my hotel. Staff is very friendly and attentive and took my special menu request. They remembered me tonight when I walked in from last night. Part coffee spot and part Italian wine bar. Good food & good service.

Dinner Special Seriously Overpriced! Ate dinner here last night, chicken something or another. It was ½ a chicken breast topped with bacon, mushrooms and smoked gouda with a white wine cream sauce. It came with about a cup of mixed greens with salad dressing. $ 17.95! I should have asked the server(who was quite nice and appropriately attentive) before I ordered. Based on the other menu prices(moderate) I never drempt this would be so much. In summary, food was good, but not worth the price. Service was good. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Came here with my girlfriend for a holiday party. This is a small restaurant that feels full with around 5 people seated at the bar. Our little group took up the outside patio, which was nicely decorated for the occasion. The waitstaff was friendly, but inattentive. One server in particular was fixated on the Steelers/Colts game playing on a TV inside the restaurant. The price for drinks are about what you would expect. I recommend that you come on a Tuesday for happy hour when wine is 50% off. I was not impressed with the choice of appetizers that our group ordered. The meatballs were chewy and under cooked. The tiny sandwiches had too much mayo and not enough deli meat. Later in the evening, I spoke with a friend about Sole Luna and she recommended that I come back for brunch(which she opined they are much better at). Sole Luna does not, however, do Bottomless Mimosas. Bottom Line: Nothing about Sole Luna stood out for me and I will probably not come here again.

Every time I go here, I feel like I’m being video taped for a TV show on customers reactions to rude employees. It is such a joke! Their customer service is absolutely horrific. Specifically, a very small, dark haired woman(she’s the shorter one in the main Unilocal picture). She is one of the rudest human beings I have ever met. They charge you .50 cents for cream cheese on your bagel and the cream cheese they give you is literally the size of a quarter. not even enough to spread on one side of a bagel. One day I got a bagel and the bagel was rock hard and stale. I took it up to the front and told the rude little woman that my bagel was stale and I was hoping to exchange it for another bagel… perhaps one that didn’t break my teeth when I bit into it. The rude little woman began to raise her voice at me and told me the bagel was not stale, and that they make all their bagels fresh… They don’t make any of their bagels. they buy them from Bruggers down the street. I told her to touch it to see how stale it was, she just continues to try and argue with me. I told her if she wasn’t able to exchange the bagel for me, then I just want a refund. She threw a huge fit and started talking about me with the other workers in Italian. She told me she’d have to call her manger to see if he will approve this«one time exchange». Once she did, she said to me in broken English«Ok fine. Fine, give me the bagel. You can only do this once and our bagels are NOT stale». I have so many stories about this place but the bottom line is. my husband and I won’t go there anymore even though we live right above it. Everyone we talk to in our building agrees that the customer service is horrible and they have lost so much business because of that. This place charges WAY too much for their food and drinks.

Hubby had Chicken Parmigiana, I the Shrimp Spiedini and Mediterranean salad without sesame seeds and I was VERY happy with the meal. Hubby NEVER orders Italian, but we were running out of time and starved. It is an expensive restaurant, but the flavors of the marinara and lime for the shrimp and parmigiana were from scratch. It was worth it! The reason only four stars versus five, bartender said we could sit anywhere, then other employee asks us to move to small table for two and it became an issue. This occurs often according to other Unilocal reviews.

We loved our first trip to this local café! The scrambles are very tasty and the Bloody Mary hit the spot! Patio is perfect, gets a breeze and is out of the direct sun in the morning. Oh and the vanilla latte– on point! We will be coming back for sure, besides its a 6 minute walk for us!

After having been a neighbor and customer for two years I decided to take my mom and 2 ½ year old niece visiting from central coast to have breakfast on Sunday before they hit the road back home. I wasn’t only disappointed but also highly disturbed by the service and experience. My mom sat at a both before closing my umbrella and walking in to see she had already sat. I encouraged her to move with my niece to other side of the café where we wouldn’t be beside the bathroom. Right away I could sense a frustration with the staff as we walked to our new table. Side note, we were only one of two tables inside so it was far from busy. After ordering drinks we were handed off to a different server and then had to specifically replace our drink order. One kids milk and two coffees with cream and almond milk on side. Turns out it was two creams which I noticed when attempting to prepare my second cup and find out which was which(cream vs almond). Needless to say its a good thing I don’t have an actual dairy allergy. Now to decide what to eat… Not once did the server make recommendations or heaven forbid, ask if we had any questions, just a «are you ready?» Then I asked if there was a kids menu and she replied no. Then we asked if we could order her(2 ½yrs) a side of scrambled eggs. Once again, «no» and I want to add that my mother and I order two full individual meals. So in order to get one or two scrambled eggs for a child is not possible even though its an item in stock in the house. This is the point where I begin to feel frustrated but stayed polite and calm while the server began to cop an attitude. So I tried to find a solution by adding some fruit and just sharing with the little one. Next, we asked if the door that connects to the patio could be opened or the temperature could be lowered since it was a million degrees inside. They responded by saying«the owner doesn’t like it open». So AGAIN we were told no. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over eleven years and can’t even grasp the fact that I’ve been told no so many times to requests that are within reason and very possible. At this point I could keep going on and on but I’m about out of breath so let me sum it up. After asking about what came with the breakfast(toast) the server began to get defensive with me where I felt as though she was completely beginning to attack me at this point and so I said«OK, OK, I’m just asking, never mind!» Wow! She wanted to argue even! Again like I said, I could continue to list the experiences last Sunday but I’m going to refrain and save myself the time and effort. Basically, I will never return and suggest that many of you steer clear of the headache and bad customer service. RUDERUDERUDE. I will not be giving them a cent more of my business. Yuck.

En face de notre hôtel Holiday Inn nous avons testé cette brasserie sans prétention. L’accueil est chaleureux et la nourriture simple et bonne. Si vous aimez les pates et voulez être servi rapidement n’hésitez pas!

No complaints, I actually enjoy this place. Ate here 2 days in a row, my favorite item was the pesto sandwich forgot the exact name but yum yum indeed. Definitely will be returning they have a nice set up as well and the staff is polite and welcoming. Oh and the pricing is perfect for what they offer.
