Splendid

Buyers beware if you purchase products online don’t waste your time trying to return or exchange it in the stores because it’s not going to happen! It is such an inconveniences to have to mail it back to the warehouse wait for the credit ³⁰⁄₆₀ thereafter! I will never purchase anything else from their online or in store due to the inconvenience! So not the customer service I expected! You are better off purchasing this brand from either #bloomingdales or #nordstroms where it’s never a hassle making a return!

I’d like to say I never shopped here at Splendid because I never saw them. Of course I saw them (they’re located close to J Crew and the children’s Pottery Barn). But I just assumed this brand store was way too expensive. I mean, I can go to Nordstrom and buy Splendid stuff there too.
I was at UTC the other day and noticed their 30% off sale (see pic). I was in rush but figured it was worth a quick look to see what’s up. They had a small but decent selection of sale items in the back. Ellie, one of the sales girl, was incredibly helpful and, most importantly, not pushy. We grabbed a bunch of stuff for me to try out in one of their 3 or so dressing rooms in the back of the store.
I liked a simple summer cotton dress that was originally full price. Having it marked down 30% make me like this simple dress even more.
Ellie was great BTW. She noticed there was a weird make-​up stain on the dress (without me even mentioning it) so she immediately said she will grab a brand new one in the back for me.
When it was time to check out, my heart sank when I saw the dreaded words ‘ALL SALES ARE FINAL’ (see pic). Boo.
I don’t think anything marked down 30% should be a final sale. Ever.
Marked down 50% — ok — I can understand the final sale thing (J Crew does that too I think).
So just take heed of that menacing sign if and when you make a purchase that’s on sale here. Don’t forget Nordstrom sells their brand as well and doesn’t have a Final Sale policy.

I can’t believe I’ve walked past this store so many times and never stopped in to shop! I stopped by Memorial Day weekend due to the sale sign posted outside and have now become a huge fan of Splendid’s apparel.
When you first walk in you are greeted by super friendly staff and the beautiful succulent wall. The clothes are pricey for comfortable casual wear, but the quality and comfort of the clothing is definitely worth the splurge.
While there isn’t a huge selection of attire in the store, if you are looking for something in particular you can definitely have a salesperson assist you in ordering the exact item, size, and color you want!
