Don’t understand why they don’t have any of the savory foldovers!!! That’s all I ever want from Starbucks when it comes to food

Totally hit or miss. Drive thru screws up orders but the walk-up window usually doesn’t. Sometimes the staff is friendly, usually not in the drive thru though. Not sure how or why that is. I love how cute it is with the outdoor set-up.

I can’t believe i’m writing a review on a Starbucks, but here I am. First off, this is an outdoor facility. Which in theory, sounds very, very cool but considering we are going through a heatwave you will DIE from heatstroke before you’ll be able to order. Also this is the most non-Starbucks Starbucks I’ve ever visited in my life. First off, totally unfriendly staff but that’s fine, just give me my coffee(please!). Secondly they got our order wrong not once, but TWICE! They also don’t keep the half and half out, so you’ll have to have them do it OR ask them in the 2 seconds they hurriedly peek through the side window to pass someone their order. And lastly, if you like Splenda or any sweetener you have to ask them, and they’ll ration you. MEH! Avoid :/

It’s a fact that not all Starbucks locations are created equally, but most seem to have cookie cutter like attributes and it sometime become almost impossible to disseminate between them. Well this certainly isn’t the typical store model Howard Schultz envisioned I’m sure but I really like its uniqueness, it’s location, the outside sitting area, the walk up window, the view of Belmont Park, I guess the products are the only typical things here. The customer service was good but the nostalgia is the attraction for me.

Sorry not a fan of this Starbucks. We made a quick stop to grab some coffee on our way home. It’s located on really busy corner. It’s the first walk up Starbucks I’ve seen there is no store front. We walked up to the window and no one was there to take our order. We had to wait for a while and when she did come she was rude and we felt rushed. Didn’t take our names down for the drinks. We waited at the pick up window with other customers. Since there were no names on the drinks, everyone was confused as which drink belonged to who. They just yelled out the drink put it down and left. Parking is really limited. There are only 3 spots reserved for Starbucks customers. We should have used the drive thru it might have been better service.

I really should have read the Unilocal reviews before coming to this Starbucks. Yes it’s a highly busy place so I did expect to wait some time. However, bring that it was a busy place I decided to order an iced tea. That’s already premade so it shouldn’t take long. Right? Wrong! My BF ordered a mocha latte and got it in the time expected. I waited an additional 25 minutes and watched as other people who came in much later get their orders. When asked about it they just responded that it was in que which was bull. The employees seem to not care at all about customer service. Save your grief and go elsewhere.

DONOTGOHERE!!! I came here at 9:00 on a Sunday morning, and became victim to the most mismanaged coffee shop in San Diego county. The wait for a regular drip coffee is 15 minutes. This may not sound like much but when you’re waiting for that long for someone to pour coffee, you’re wondering why you didn’t just brew your own at home. The problem is they don’t leave the condiments(cream and sugar) out, and you have to ask the baristas to put it in your coffee for you; this creates a system of vast inefficiency. They also throw your massively simple order in line with all the more time consuming espresso drinks. There were 5 – 6 baristas, and they were all working very hard, but if you walk in for a coffee, don’t expect to leave anytime soon. They prioritize the car customers in the drive thru and management is too cheap to leave condiments out/believes you’re probably going to take one too many Splendas. What a total waste of a business for such a great location. Management needs a refresher course and/or observe a superior store.

We’ve been visiting for the past couple days. 2 days in a row, they have made my drink wrong. When I informed them that it’s incorrect, I get a rude response. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to get. I forgot to order one drink today which then made our wait 40 min total(as we watched the drive-thru go by with ease). If you want coffee, take your car & drive to a gourmet coffee shop that warrants 20 minutes! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the Barista who took my order today had a beautiful smile.

This Starbucks is awesome! It’s an all outdoor facility which is pretty cool. I literally just walked up and ordered what I wanted without any issues. Surprisingly enough, it’s got a pretty cool vibe too being right on the corner of Mission Bay Dr. and Mission Blvd. It’s right next to the roller coaster and the park so you can people-watch for days there if you please. The cool thing about this particular Starbucks was that it still felt like I was at Starbucks, even though it looked much different. It sold all of the same products(not just a portion of them like other smaller Starbucks), the staff was extremely pleasant, and the products were made with the same quality. I’ll definitely coming back to this Starbucks store!

Two stars for the walk up window outside. Sadly thats the only good thing about this place. Minus three stars for the rude employees.

Great location in Mission Beach across the street from Mission Bay Park and across the intersection from Belmont Park. Drive through or walk up. One window to order and one window to pick up your order at. No inside seating, only outdoor on the patio. One picnic table with an umbrella and the rest is bar stools. Friendly staff and I’ve never had a problem paying with the app.

I like Starbucks so I usually go to one whenever I want coffee, this location is in a highly trafficked area right next to the beach which supposedly should be a reason why it should be an excellent place for business but their service is bad and the place is not very much like your average Starbucks, it’s meant for people to just get a coffee and get going. I now avoid coming back to this one.

Honestly if I could leave no stars I would. I am a frequent Starbucks customer and I have never experienced such AWFUL service. I went to use my ap which I do every day before work and at many other Starbucks locations, I have a line through my screen where it cracked, it makes it so the little scanner thing doesn’t work. I went to the Starbucks by my house this morning and they typed on my card number just fine and sent me on my merry way. The guy at this particular Starbucks was incredibly rude, itturupted me while I was talking and just flat out said he couldn’t use my app. When I asked why he couldn’t give me an awnser, I let him know that at every other Starbucks I go to they never have any issues just typing in the number. The guy just huffed and told me he couldn’t. Lazy, rude and incredibly unprofessional.

Worst Starbucks experience ever. Rude personnel and slow and careless service. They forgot to give us one espresso and when we asked half an hour later they said it was in order. After 15 minutes we left. Starbucks is going downhill…

Go to Mission Beach Coffee Break in South Mission or Better Buzz in Old Mission. Starbucks ruins the personality of this corner.

What a welcome surprise! Walking with the kiddos along the boardwalk(bayside) then crossing over to the beach side I spied the«little mermaid» in all her green and white glory… ahhhh… not sad to see Jack in the box or anything after that go away… what a perfect location for SBUX! Smart layout for walk-up ordering. No inside seating… all outdoors with a covered area to pick-up /wait for drinks. Linger a bit on concrete bar stools and people watch! ONE table but mostly open area for ordering and perimeter bar stools. Yes, drive through but did not use it. Coffee was good. Ordered a few breakfast sausage sandwiches for the kiddos — yum! They had their hot chocolates too. It was a good day!

I’m happy there’s a place I can get coffee on my way out of MB at 6am now. So I stop here. Everytime I’ve stopped I have to stand outside waiting while the girls inside look at me then go about doing whatever it’s they’re doing. It’s never seems very busy at 6am but it always takes awhile for the employees to open the window and actually take my order. It’s very frustrating when you want to be on your way quickly and they’re just puttering about and arranging things on shelves. Additionally, they just seem less friendly inside the little shop. When they do finally decide to come open the window, it’s as if they’re doing you a favor. Oh they also never have blonde roasts, but will offer to do a pour over, which takes a minute or two longer. I’m glad it’s there now in a pinch, but I’ll usually stop somewhere else along my way to work.

What a cool place — drive-thru, walk-up ordering windows, plenty of seating in the sun and in the shade, and super friendly baristas. I realize Starbucks gets a lot of flack for being«corporate,» but between this place and others I’ve been to, they have some of the best customer service.
