Pretty average Starbucks experience. I had my birthday drink and they were nice enough to ask if I wanted it with an extra shot or caramel. Super friendly and would go again to that one if I’m in the area.

I good and quite the busy Starbucks. I came in to this location to kill some time and enjoy a Caffe Misto of course with a Petite Vanilla Scone. I ordered the grande with the medium roast which I believe was Pike’s. The Caffe misto is their version of a Café au Lait. It was pretty good with a little harshness but the hot milked helped it out. One thing I can also depend on Starbucks is providing a very hot coffee. The vanilla scone was good and petite as advertised, but that was what I wanted, just some good to nibble on. There Wi-Fi connection was reliable as usual which I took advantage of and got some much needed work done. Service at the register was pretty good and so was at the pick up counter, but it was so busy that it was hard to hear when one’s item was ready. This location has a good amount of seating inside and a lot outside.

I’ve been searching for a smoked butterscotch latte since most Starbucks locations have sold out, and I was pretty excited that this one still had a little left. RIP smoked butterscotch, you will be missed. I was happy with the service. It was a little slow(and they didn’t call out when a drink was ready), but the baristas were friendly. They clearly knew the regulars and their drink orders. But even not being a regular, I was happy with the service. There’s not a ton of seating, but this is a pretty small location. If I was in the area I would definitely come back but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come to this particular location.

Simple and decent Starbucks location. Came in here to get my fav Java chip. It was decent. It seemed like the blender could have gotten some more ice in it. One of my fav snacks to get here is the hummus wrap with zucchini and a roasted tomato dip for the crackers… It is so yummy!!! Just disappointed they had expired ones out when I came in): Line can get long but the workers try their best to be fast paced. Customer service is good. Very friendly staff I would say. On the smaller size for the store. During summer this is a nice go to place because they have a big area for you to head outside and hang out.

New management and with it has come a less friendly attitude that seems to be passed to some of the employees. Unfortunate because this location was my favorite Starbucks in San Diego.

I go to this location almost every day of the week and I must say their service is consistently GREAT! Every time I go in they greet me by name and sometimes by drink is already ready when I pay… love it! I feel like a VIP here and I will continue to be loyal to my home Starbucks :) Btw…must try a Carmel Macchiato with the lid off, the Carmel hits your lips and will make your day that much sweeter!

Hit and miss. Mercy road Starbucks is much better imo. Today some guy left a hair in my drink. I think it was intentional too because it was clipped between my lid and the cup. Yeah thanks a lot Starbucks but you have some high standards being a Starbucks and this isn’t an exception. Also they handed it to me all sloppy with caramel dripping out the side. It’s all sticky now.

I have always enjoyed a hot cup of Starbucks coffee, and their seasonal drinks and cozy atmosphere never fails to attract thirsty patrons. The Tiramisu and Caramel Flan lattes are just few examples of Starbucks’s newest witty drink creations. Whenever I get my paycheck or a Starbucks gift card, I am always giddy making a trip to Starbucks to treat myself to a cup of happiness. My most recent experience at the Scripps Poway Pkwy Starbucks has been the worst Starbucks adventure to date. The baristas were scrambling and flustered, and the cashier charged me 3 grande drinks instead of the 2(one tall and one grande) that I ordered. Both cups handed to me were lukewarm and did not match my order. I understand that it can get hectic during the weekends, but as a customer, we all work hard for our money and we should get decent service for the price of coffee we pay for. If the consistency and quality of coffee goes down, that really makes me question the quality control of this particular Starbucks. Despite all of this, I will still continue to enjoy Starbucks coffee, but also give feedback to the managers and team at the Scripps Poway Pkwy Starbucks to step it up and bring the competitive coffee they have been known for back on the table, and not slip in quality, consistency, customer service and tastiness.

Dirty. Smells like an animal shelter with dog hair all over the floor and chair. Ew. Won’t eat or drink anything from this place. The bathroom is just as disgusting.

I visited this location on Christmas Eve and received excellent service from the staff. My coffee was piping hot and the store was well kept. So definitely 5 stars :)

I used to go there all the time when worked at a company just across the street. It was like a routine to walk there and get some frapucinos with some colleagues. However it was always difficult to find a spot to seat and every time I go looks like someone is conducting some job interview. I am glad that now there are more tables and chairs outside and seems to be more pleasant. Still, I find the pace is still slow in this establishment.

Very slow service. I’ve never been to a Starbucks where it took that long just to order my drink. There was only one person in front of me.

Had to beat the heat! Ordered the new Caffe Espresso frap. Perfect! For the boys, got a grande vanilla bean split cup. It’s perfect size for kids instead of getting a tall for each of them. Perfect way to cool down!

Found a bottle cap at the bottom of my latte. A little gross. They either lack attention to detail and didn’t notice it, or it was done deliberately.

I was running late and decided to stop by this Starbucks since it was close to where I was heading. At 9am on a Thursday, they were packed. The line was long, but they seemed to filter through the orders decently. So why the 2 stars? When I got my order, my hazelnut latte was cold! It was like drinking milk from a refrigerator cold. I should’ve known because when she handed me the coffee, even the cup was cold. But I had waited patiently and was already running late so I didn’t have the time to ask to have another coffee made. You would think the girl would’ve noticed the latte was cold as my 2nd drink was so hot I needed a sleeve. And not only that, but how do you make a latte with fresh coffee to become cold. Unless the coffee was a really old batch of some sort. This was displeasing and is the first time this has ever happened to me.

I have only left a couple of Unilocal reviews to date and they were for places that provided unparalleled customer service. I believe that folks should be recognized for exceptional work and I feel obligated to share my positive experiences with others. However, this is my 1st bad review and I debated on whether or not to leave one but I do hope that the regional manager reads this and takes some time to mentor the employees at this location. I typically frequent 5 different Starbucks across San Diego and my experiences at all 5 are good. I get the same drink every time — grande drip in a venti cup, the rest filled with cold soy. Every one of the 5 Starbucks I go to charges me $ 1.95. This particular Starbucks charged me $ 2.55. I understand it’s only $ 0.60 but that’s not my gripe. My problem was that I politely informed the cashier that all the other Starbucks I go to only charge me $ 1.95, she gave me blank stare and said«It’s $ 2.55, not a $ 1.95.» When I asked why, she said that it’s because I ordered soy. I then told her that I always order cold soy instead of milk /cream and it’s still a $ 1.95. Now here’s the part that gets me — someone from either the back room or hidden behind the pastry display yells out that they’ve changed their policy and it’s $ 0.60 for soy now. I can only assume it was the store manager who yelled this out. I couldn’t believe that they didn’t have the common decency to talk to a customer face to face but instead chose to yell out a response that informed everyone in line that I had a quibble over a measly $ 0.60. COMPLETELYANDUTTERLYUNPROFESSIONAL. I will never go back to this location again.

This place is ok but not my favorite location/setting in the area. Very busy as you can imagine with the usual morning rush and soccer mom crowd. For some reason though they make a real mean Iced Venti Americano that keeps me coming back!. No, not all Venti Iced Americanos are created the same, the world is not perfect like that. =) If you’re a fiend for Iced Americanos like myself, stop by and try one out!

This spot always has younger employees and they seem to make more rookie mistakes than normal. Went here twice and the drinks are always just slightly off… They do have a lot of spots to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

On a typical weekday morning, this joint can be chock full of soccer-moms/housewives, professional contractors leeching the wi-fi, telecommuters, unemployed networking types looking for a gig and guys like me Jonzin’ for a green tea buzz. The baristas and«danish pickers» at the register are warm, friendly and efficient. Seating can be limited inside but I recommend taking it to the outdoor seating and chill with your sunglasses on. You never know, you might see someone who might want to join you for a drink?
