Tracy was great & awesome!!!
Got a Groupon to try out her service, and to my surprise she was an experienced & detailed hairstylist =). Tracy really spent her time making sure my color turned out the way I wanted. She corrected my layers and even spent her time showing me how to easily style my hair at home to show off my layers. I loved it when a hairstylist doesn’t rush her way through an appointment to make it to her next client. Love her consultation with knowing what works and doesn’t.
I guess I have found my hairstylist≠D

Had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Tracy Pierce! She’s nothing short of awesome and took her time to achieve the look I wanted! I got highlights on the underside of my hair and they look fantastic! She was very meticulous and waiting for me on the dot at the time of my appointment! The salon was really cute on the interior and the other stylists kept me entertained while we waited for my hair to lighten! I’ll definitely be back!

Reece was recommended to me by my Bff.
I been lacking on going to a hair stylist cause I feel self conscious of anybody touching my hair. Reason is, a lost a lot of my hair on my last pregnancy and have been really depressed about it and not wanted to no much with the Lil strands I have.
Well I exchanges some messages with Reece and off the bat I felt comfortable. He understood my concerns and in a couple of days I had a consultation with him.

Maria did a GREAT job on my nails! Definitely worth the Groupon purchase. Yes there was a 2 week wait period but it was worth the wait! Also love this salon it’s family owned and very neighborhood friendly. Great atmosphere very friendly.

Tract Pierce is a very sweet and seasoned stylist. She took her time cutting, coloring, and styling my hair. (And I have a lot of hair!). She is very easy to talk to and really listens to make sure you leave with the desired style you want. Very happy and will be back. I used a Groupon. Even though I didn’t pay much she made me feel like a million bucks!

I went to Tracy she did my hair on Christmas and did great job I definitely recommend to go to her.

DON’T buy a Groupon for this place. They don’t care about new customers. 2 weeks for a nail appointment!?! No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere. The nail technician is extremely rude!

I had just recently bought a Groupon for Maria’s nails. She fills up fast because she is so awesome.
Make sure to book 2 weeks in advance. I can’t tell you how nicely she shapes and how precise she is with everything she does.
I got the slate grey color on my fingernails and they beautiful! I would definitely recommend her for a professional service.
Maria is sweet and makes you feel comfortable the whole time, she is very interested in what you are saying. Great communication!

This is one of the best hair salons in San Diego County. The owner Jesse Serrano and cosmotologist Mary Poluso are among the most talented professionals I have ever met. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and experts in the field. The salon is clean, bright, and inviting.
I would recommend this hair salon to anyone, they are fantastic!

Since I have moved to San Diego I have not been able to find a good hair salon. I read great reviews about Studio 69 so I decided to give it a try as it is close to my house. I met with Reese and he was AMAZING!!! I love the way my hair turned out and the way he styled it was perfect! I finally found my home away from home hair salon. I will be returning.

clean, convenient and casual! Reese is Sam Diego’s newest edgey styles and curly hair stylist. I’m so happy with my new curly hair layers and he is so interesting to chat with.

Pros: very nice nail artist, takes her time (but it took about 2 hours). Great shaping of nails
Cons: Unfortunately, nails dont look shiny 2 – 3 days after. Nails lifting at corners but initially, the nails looked great. Small bubbles so in the nails. Also, I dont like being asked to clean my nails with a brush used by other clients and that is located in the public bathroom. The location needs to be renovated, it looks old

Maria is the BEST NAIL ARTIST EVER!!! She listens to what you want and creates a masterpiece, yes i’m still talking about nails… You will definitely have fun talking and do not have to worry about being rushed out, injured by that nasty drill, nor an overbearing chemical smell!!!

Today was my first time getting my nails do e at. This salon. Maria was wonderful, professional and nice to talk to. I have had my nails done in a while in part that when you go to just nails salons and hurt because they are in a rush to get you out of the chair and move on to next client. Maria took her time and my nails came out perfect. I will be a returning customer!

I just had my hair cut here and loved both the staff (Jesse and his daughter especially) and the hairstyle I walked out with. After more than a decade of horrible haircut experiences I am extremely phobic of getting my hair cut; no longer will I cower in the stylists chair! Jesse was very considerate of my opinion and did an excellent job (so much so that I can’t stop looking at my reflection on any surface). This place is a hidden gem in plain sight– don’t pass that purple sign by!!!

I am an African-​American with curly, thick, natural hair. Never have I found anyone who could style my hair as well as Alexis did. I used to go here years ago when I attended SDSU (she’s now relocated to Mission Valley). She was so good that I referred my mom who had very fine, permed hair and she loved her too.
As for the other stylists, I never tried (no reason to!) but I’ll definitely be hitting her up and visiting her new spot. You should to!
