Subway

Came to Subway cause my child wanted it. Wasn’t really in the mood for a sandwich so I asked Korey the sales associate about the salads. He was very helpful and explained to me how the process works, he cut up and prepared my salad, even suggested low fat dressing which I much appreciated. Will definitely be back, wish more employees were as helpful as he was!!!

I am on a strict food plan and shopped too long before I ate and I had no choice but to stop at the nearest restaurant. A gentleman offered to read EVERY LABEL on the chicken they serve to ensure I received one with no oil! He packed my cucumber and salt and peppered it! Went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Forget your spokesperson who may have tarnished the reputation somewhat, hire the young man who assisted me to be your ultimate customer service guy!

Came here to eat for lunch after thinking of subway for the past 3hours counting down to chow down. I always order the chicken teriyaki sub. As I walked in, I got greeted. I felt the happiness from that employee loving his job. Caught me off guard. I wanted to get his name to give him kudos on high energy. The Cashier smiled which was ok. Some places don’t even have a smile. It’s like their thinking of what bill to pay next or something. I liked the 2 associates that day that helped me. Good job guys. People actually do read employees and thanks for Unilocal here we are either criticizing or praising your work for part of the world to read.

Mmmm… Subway. Consistently satisfying. I’ve been to some pretty sh! tty Subways, but this one was better than average. The employees there were really friendly, quick, and attentive, PLUS the place was clean and tidy. which is pretty impressive for a pseudo-​fast food chain option in general. Oh, and no pedophiles in sight.

My sandwich today was great I came in and both Nancy and the other girl making my sandwich did a great job and had excellent customer service skills. As far as the cashier SARAH goes she was very rude and kept making dirty looks as I was reaching for change to pay for my food. She is very sarcastic and not a people person at all her placement in subway establishment should be reviewed and something done about this. I think this will be my last time returning to this subway.

Sometimes I just really crave a basic turkey and avocado sandwich… and there’s something about subway that just does it right in my opinion. At least, they usually do. This is one of the better locations I’ve been to and I stop in here maybe once or twice a month as my work is nearby. I almost always get the same guy working and he’s super friendly! I would recommend coming to this location because A) they don’t skimp on the veggies, B) The employees are always friendly, & C) the place is always clean and I never see bugs or trash anywhere!
My only qualm with subway is that they don’t have SLICED cheddar cheese, which is literally the only kind of cheese I like. You’re a sandwich company, get it together!!!

Subway is one of my go to spots for fast easy service! I really enjoy their breakfast options, I go for the egg white breakfast sandwich on the wheat English muffin topped with spinach and tomatoes– yum! Add a coffee and this makes for a great start to the day. Fast and friendly service. I wish they opened before 7am!

Decided to give this place some love stopped by on Sunday before our taxes. Very good service no strike that great service. Mariana one of the food preparers was very patient with our orders and she made a killer meatball sub.
Place was clean food was fresh and the help well very helpful. If I could give six stars I would. Oh they were not cheap with the quantity of vegetables they gave u too
Will definitely be back hopefully won’t have to wait another year

I have not had a subway sandwich normally it’s Jersey Mikes, Boudines, Market Deli + Liquor for fast food. I was by Ikea and wanted something quick it was not good at all the bread was so dry and not tasty (that’s what makes a great sandwich the bread and real meat) Im not sure what type of meat they use? He put mayo, dressing, mustard squirted it in the middle of the sandwich in-​between the meat and veggies rather then on the bread. It was a first/​last time in a subway. YUK

This 5-​star review is for a special sandwich artist who happily put up with all of my demands while providing an entertaining and respectful conversation. His name is Corey and the Spicy Italian footlong he built was the best and most customized sandwich I’ve ever had. I had such a good experience I felt compelled to ask him his name and write a review. Give this kid a raise!

Excellent Service «Wammie Tammie» knocks out mo subs than anyone! I have HUGE orders come in at the last minute each one as great as the first! Great Staff This is the BEST Subway out there! no one can compete with them (Jersey mikes) doesn’t even come close. Keep up the great work crew! We will always come back!

Since it’s been awhile for this place to get a review, I’ll tackle it! I absolutely love this location. They are fast, friendly and kill it on making sandwich’s! I come to this location rather than the others in the area simply because of how quick they are.
The ambiance around this place is very tranquil and peaceful. It sure beats fighting all the traffic in the malls and shopping centers just to get something to eat on the measly 30 min lunch break I get.
The veggies are always fresh and they are very adamant about maintaining cleanliness even during their busiest lunch rushes. I really appreciate that because I’ve been to Subways, as I’m sure we all have, where everything looks nasty and like you wanna call the FDA and have them shut down on the spot. Not this place oh no! Super friendly staff and just a pleasure to come in and grab my breakfast or lunch on the run.
Take a walk down Camino Del Este and enjoy your food next to the river if you have a few minutes. Best place to enjoy your food hands down. Grab a sami and a drink and I’ll see you down there!

It usually takes a lot for me to complain. Considering the fact that I’m taking the effort to write a Unilocal review but I’d thought I’d let this subway know there quaility of product stinks. Every time I go here we order sandwiches for the entire office to go. All those times the bread tastes likes it’s a week old and completely no worth eating. Please go to a different subway people. There are plenty of subways in mission valley, this one is not your choice. Yes its cheap but all the subways have the same prices so it doesnt matter to go to a different subway

Can I give this store a negative rating? I hate this store location. Yes, they are fast but heck, they charged me $ 6 for the $ 5 footlong & I even used a $ 1 off coupon and didn’t see that anywhere in my receipt. Called them up after I found out that they charged me wrong when I was already back in my office. The manager told me to just call back when they are not busy.
I should have learned my lesson the first time I went here in 2010 when I asked the cashier guy that isn’t the footlong $ 5? He said it’s been over for months. How the heck would I have known that when I keep seeing their commercials on TV saying that their footlong are still $ 5. Plus it was just a couple weeks before that when I went to a different location and I paid $ 5 for my footlong.
Will not be coming back here, that’s for sure!

It’s the salads, stupid. There are SO many places to get a cheap, made-​to-​order sandwich today that another is no cause for celebration. But, Subway will make almost anything into a salad — and a good, fast cheap one, at that. If you’re doing the Atkins thing, this place is a serious help.

This place has definitely come a long way since the Fall of ’08. I agree with Laurel, because there was a time when this schleppy location must have just been «getting by» with the desperate and hungry MV workforce.
There are a great group of gals working here now who are SUPER fast, polite and helpful. In fact, I’ve had the best loaded Tuna foot-​long at this location many times over since the New Year. Not that I eat the whole foot-​long myself or anything… ;)
Just yesterday I came here right at the lunch rush and thought, damn, this is going to be a while. There were probably 10 people ahead of me, but boy did the line move fast… I was up at the counter designing my sandwich in under 5 minutes!
My guess is that this management must have read the comment cards that were building up for months and decided to make a change for the better. People definitely have a choice of food in that little park, so they needed to make sure more people chose THEM~! Good work in revamping the vibe!

This, my friends, is the absolute worst subway ever! Feeling pretty hungry, I ordered the five dollar footlong (veggie on whole wheat). The only thing that my sandwich artist offered me was «avocado but it’s extra.»
I declined as I am on quite the budget and watched her slaughter my roll with a knife. The piece of bread was literally falling apart before she even added my cheese. As I had orcered the shredded cheese, I expected this artict to know to toast it. Of course not, she tried to slide right on over to the lettuce.
I requested it toasted. It popped out ofthe micro/​toaster thingy and she just looked at me. She forgot to ask if I wanted mayo or mustard and then she just glared at me, subliminally asking me to request my veggies.
She then wrapped my sandwich carelessly and asked if I wanted to add chips and a drink. Absolutely not I said and left.
By the time I got home, my sandwich had turned into a soggy practically uneatable mess due to her terrible oil and vinegar pouring skills mixed with her bad wrapping.
I will not go this subway ever again.
