The salad was Not chopped and just thrown in the dish. Sloppy and uninspired. The lunch rush is understaffed. Avoid this location for lunch if you can.

Just came to subway for a lunch with my girlfriend from school. Steven was the only one working and killing it! Quick service with a smile! Great attitude greeted upon coming in and our sandwiches we’re delicious! Way to go Steven! We will be back.

Picked up two subs to go. Got back to work and found both were wrong by a lot. Not a little, a lot. They’ve made mistakes before on our subs and I just let it go as I’m not going to freak out every time it’s made a little wrong. But this time is too much. So I call the manager. She doesn’t seem sorry at all and almost acts like I’m trying to get something free out of her. She grudgingly tells me I can come in to get it fixed. Well I tell her I don’t have any more time on my lunch break to drive all the way there and back again. I tell her I can come in another day. Again acts like she is really inconvenienced by me. Call her the next week. She tells me «This is the last time this is going to happen.» Wow. They mess up big on our sandwiches and all I get is attitude. I’m sorry I want my sub at least close to what I ordered. And this is from the manager! I work kinda close by so have been a regular there for months. Now I’ll go further down on Miramar Rd. to the other location.

Yikes, guys. Today was the second time I’ve visited this spot and I won’t be back again. My main complaint is how the«sandwich artists» throw the meat and cheese back into the cooler and haphazardly slap the meat, cheese and veggies on the bread. I’m not a picky eater at all, and I was grossed out by how sloppy Irma was to the point where I asked the young gentleman wrapping my sandwich up if he could straighten up the distribution of pepperoncinis which were piled high on one side yet just one lone pepper on the other half of my sammy. I also watched her put another guy’s sandwich in the toaster with a piece of cheese barely hanging on to the bread which surely melted on to the paper rather than the sandwich. Not even going to complain about how they were out of my favorite bread(Italian Herbs and Cheese) and red onions because I get it that that kind of stuff happens. But, I will complain about the cleanliness of the place. This is probably because there are a lot of mechanic shops around here but the door handle and area around it are totally black. Looks like if you just used some windex and a paper towel it would come off, and given it seems like a no-brainer since it’s seen/touched by anyone who comes in, it makes me wonder what more serious things are going on behind the front area that they’re also not paying attention to.

OMG! I ordered the classic cold cut combo, foot long on 9 grain honey oat, started great, but when he got the pre-prepared meat out of the cooling bin, it was dripping with water. I said” hey, what’s all the water?! He tried to tell me it’s ok. I’m looking at this and thinking«man, the bread is going to be soggy»! I then look into the bin to see it full of water, so this meat is floating in warm water, because it’s supposed to be ice! He asks what else I would like on the sandwich, I say«lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, mayo. Barely puts any lettuce, barely any onion. So little lettuce I ask» where’s the lettuce. At this point I ask how long the meat has been in that water? He says«all day» I then say«no way«and walk out after telling him you don’t know how to make a sandwich ! The countertop where the sandwiches were being prepared was filthy!

This subway is walking distance from my work. The staff was very friendly and the food was good but they shuffled some of the morning crew to shifts later in the day and replaced them with very rude people that just slop the sandwiches together. I try to eat semi healthy so I will still go to this subway but it sucks that the food and service have suffered so much.

This Subway is on my regular work lunch rotation. It’s conveniently located 3 minutes away from my work and I can say that this is my favorite locations of all the Subways I’ve been to. It looks like it has been a while since this place has received a review so all those complaints don’t hold truth anymore. This location has been remodeled recently to look a little cleaner and slightly more modern. The staff is friendly and will welcome everyone as they enter the store. Most importantly, they are not stingy with the toppings and are great rollers! I’ve had problems at other locations where they give measly toppings or roll it in the wrapper haphazardly, leaving me with a sandwich that is falling apart. Parking is this plaza can get pretty crazy and tight if you go during the lunch rush. Avoid it by making it there before 11:30am during the weekdays. I went in during a busy time once and my sandwich artist threw on a little more meat in my sandwich. The wait wasn’t bad, but more meat was nice :). Healthy, fast, and yummy. At 5 dollars a footlong, you c-c-can’t go wrong! Tip: They charge tax when you get your sub toasted.

This Subway was a train wreck. The guy making the sandwiches seemed as out of it as he could possibly be and dropped half a container of spinach walking back from the refrigerator. Things happen but the part that grossed me out the most was he did not change his gloves from when he made our sandwich and walked to the refrigerator touching stuff as he went along and came back to make our sandwiches with the same gloves. We had to repeat a lot of our order to him and could easily have hopped the barrier to make it faster ourself. The ice machine was out of ice. We just dealt with warmer soda until a girl came up and reminded them that it was out when one of the guys took her cup into the back to get some ice from their machine. I know Subway isn’t a bar but trusting a guy with your cup to bring it back to you as a lady is a red flag to me. The bathroom was filthy and beyond lack of presentation for any restaurant. I realize this is Subway and not a steak joint but come on. Also, after my sandwich had been heated up my chicken was still DEAD cold. How is this possible? Wasn’t wanting a cold chicken slab on a toasted bun. Subway, wow. Wake up.

This place gets packed during lunch and I mean you have to wait in line for more than 10 mins. Well, before that, good luck finding parking in this tight and limited parking space. The food? Well, they shouldn’t say«Eat Fresh» because I don’t think they make their breads the same day. I know they get busy but that doesn’t mean they have to make their breads a day or two in advance. One his thing I can say about this establishment its that the staff are friendly.

HIWELCOMASUBWAY I stopped here recently on the weekend of the airshow. My boyfriend and I decided to get away from the traffic and buy some 5 dolla’ footlongs. The store was busy! One of the young ladies working made my sandwich quickly, and when she rang me up she informed me that it was her 2nd day on the job and thanked me for being patient with her. That’s what I like to hear! I coulda been a mean weenie! Anyway, she was respectful so I told her to take her time. Before I knew it I was on my way! We quickly sat on the moderately clean table(crumbs here and there, can’t blame ‘em though, the employees were busy behind the bar.) GETREADY, GETSET, UNWRAP! The Italian Herbs and cheese were tasty and did not taste stale, but the Honey Oat can use a little more oats, and it was kinda flat and stuck to my wrapper. The outside ridge was kinda ugly like this:~~~ ): This Subway doesn’t offer the same breads as the others, but I can make do with what they’ve got. Also, they charge 44c for toasting subs. I thought every subway offered«ANYFOOTLONG $ 5», but I didn’t find that deal at this Subway.): 4 stars for customer service. 2 sad faces for bread.

Based on my experience at other Subways I have to give this one a «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» The parking lot is a mofo. I have only been here for lunch and always a deep line. I prefer the other Subway further down the road(9242 Miramar Road). Other than that, standard Subway menu. If Jared would have had to deal with this parking lot and the lines he would have gone to the Carl’s Jr. or the taco shop instead and his life would have turned out different.

Why 2 stars? Because the 5 dollar footlong is a lie! They should call it 5.44 dollar footlong! I asked why I was charged 44 extra cents and it was because my sub was toasted. What’s that about? I didn’t see any fine print about being charged tax if toasted. Then another time I went there, I was charged 5.44 again for a different untoasted sun and the explanation given to me was that specific subs are defaulted to tax and other subs are not. What kind of BS is that!?! If this is how it works, then it needs to be stated somewhere. I know I bitching about a few cents, but if I only have 5 bucks, that pretty much means that I don’t eat because of the extra charge that isn’t stated anywhere. The reason it’s 2 stars and not 1 is because my sandwich taste ok.
So I’m pretty sure that my sandwich today wasn’t supposed to be wedged between 2 bricks. Um… don’t they make their bread fresh daily? Because I’m pretty sure that my bread was not fresh. And since I got sandwiches for about 7 other people today, and they all had the same complaints, I’m thinking we got some nasty, super hard, day old stale bread. Boo Subway:(

Five. five dollar.five dollar foootloooong. that is all there is to say to that. This fine establishment helps with my budget. And with the economy not helping out… Yeah i use that excuse alot, even if i have 100 bucks on my pocket. Baaaaliiinnn. jk… Healthier than mickey dees or fatty greasy burgers. Not that there’s anything wrong with those. I just like to think i eat healthy by going to subway. Ask Jared!
