Sunny’s Pizza was made by magical hands because it was everything I dreamed of & more. The crust is amazing. The sauce is to die for, & the topping are fresh!!! I highly recommend this pizza restaurant… & it’s freaking cute inside.

We tried a pepperoni and the Caribbean with the curry and fresh cilantro. Both were delicious. The crust is great, nice and thin and crispy. The owner was very nice and quick. Fast and delicious! Really close to the naval base too which was nice. Don’t hesitate to eat here, you’ll love it, very cute little restaurant too.

Ordered from here on Eat24 and tried it because it was new and said it was veteran owned and operated. So glad we did.
We got a cheese pizza with jalapeños, pineapple and sausage and it was delicious! Nice and thin. Not greasy and great flavor. Also got a sunny salad and it was just as awesome. The tomatoes were extra sweet and sliced tiny and the dressing was delicious. Some type of vinaigrette.
We will definitely order from here again! Good job!

This place is SO GOOD! The staff makes sure you’re helped out, and make sure you feel like you’re at home. The prices are amazing and their food is absolutely delicious! I don’t live close to here at all and I know I’ll be back for sure! :)

Awesome! I asked for half curry chicken half supreme. Absolutely amazing! It all tasted fresh. If I had money to franchise this guy, I would. In fact, I wouldn’t need dopey football quarterbacks, hot broads, or gimmicky drink deals to get people to try this pizza. $ 14 buck for 16″ of pizza with flavor using fresh ingredients. I hope this guy makes it!

I must say I seen postings on Facebook. And as I waited for my pizza I was thinking it was going to be just another ny pizzeria but I fell in love from the first taste. Great sauce and bread. Good job guys I’ll be coming back

Great new restaurant in National City. Veteran Owned and Operated. I’ve eaten here twice. The first time was with my family and the second time was with a co-​worker. The staff is very friendly. The décor is lovely. The pizza is the best. Thin crust made in a brick style oven. When I went with my family we couldn’t agree so we asked for two half/​half pizzas. They accommodated no problem.
When I returned with my friend he was amazed with the quality of the pizza. When the pizza came out he had a huge smile on his face. He said, «I never thought I would smell this again.» He is from Columbia and says that this pizza reminded him of home. It is that good.
Side note. If you dine in they have Netflix on the TV and will let you watch what you want.

Let me get right to the point; this is some of the best pizza I’ve had in San Diego, and that’s no small thing for me to say. I spoke with the owner and he makes all his own sauce and dough, both very good. I got a real «east coast» feel out of my pie and the size of it was good given the price. You can order through the Unilocal app (like I did) or the normal way. There are some deals going on for military and students, so that’s another plus (though you’ll have no problem paying full price for how good it is). The place itself is neat and modern, you could dine in if you wanted to and feel good about it. It’s a very welcome addition to the food in the area. I definitely will be coming back to try some of his signature pies.

I had a great experience at sunny’s pizza today, my wife and I ordered the supreme and it was honestly one of the best pizzas we’ve had in San Diego, Were locals so it’s so convenient, they use fresh ingredients for sure, I can tell, the quality of the food is definitely a five star or more, and there is a cool atmosphere at sunny’s pizza. Not to mention a very creative menu, our new favorite pizza place!
