Sure Flite

What a horrible experience. From the minute I walked in John was purposely trying to be abrasive, and to my shock even declared that he is intentionally being an ass (his words!). He just wasn’t interested in being helpful in any way.
I would avoid this place at all costs, as they are not very good ambassadors for the hobby/​sport, nor are they appreciative of their customers. I will vote with my money elsewhere!

Great little hobby store which has improved greatly over the last few years. Even though it’s small if your into planes or heli’s they have what you need. Prices for stuff match on-​line prices. Staff was ftiendly and seemed to know what they are talking about. If your thinking about getting into RC flying my best advise is to visit a local flying field on the weekend and start asking questions. The guys at the field will tell you what you need and after all they will be the ones teaching you to fly.
I like this little store much more then when I lives here back in 2008. I will be visiting them again for sure.

WOW, I just had to give these guys one star. If I could give them minus one I would. I have always wanted to get into RC planes and I finally did at the end of last year. I did some searching around San Diego for a good hobbie store and I thought this one was going to be it. Man was I WRONG! First off the man sold me the wrong battery pack (40 dollars)! For some reason they have this man working behind the counter but he knows nothing about RC planes and on top of it he is mean to the customers. I went in there to spend money and oh I did… After spending an hour in there and finding what I needed he started treating me like crap. This was just the beginning. I then put everything together and found that I had some interference problems. So I took the plane in and talked to some schmuck Eric. He said that I was sold the wrong equipment-​so I asked him if I could trade it in for the correct stuff since his store sold me the wrong parts. He said oh no he couldn’t do that but he offered to look into my plane and try to fix the interference problem for a small charge. He said that he would charge me the small rate of 15 an hour. I went ahead and gave him the plane. I then waited for a week to go by expecting a call since he had told me it would be done. Oh no he never called. So I let my plane sit there for 3 weeks then went in and asked if it was done. He said that he had not gotten around to it. I was pissed and told him to just give the plane back to me. Do not give these guys your business. Find another place that values their customers. This world is too small to treat your customers like this especially when we have the internet. These guys wonder why we buy our stuff through discount warehouses. This is why, from now on I will buy all my stuff online and not through them and I hope you do the same. Stay away from this place!
